Since we left Kaye's room, I noticed that Nigel was quiet, I didn't know what was going through his mind. I sat next to him while my brother is with Chase.

"Are you okay babe?" I asked.

"I'm fine babe, I'm just thinking about something,"

"Is it about what Kaye said earlier?" I asked.

He looked at me. I can see the guilt and sadness in his eyes. "Babe, what are you thinking? Is there any problem? Hmmm." I asked again and held his hand which I had noticed was clenching.

"I'm just thinking about what's happening to us. It's all my fault, I'm the reason for all of this shit," He said.

"You don't have to blame yourself, Nigel," I said.

"Why? I'm the reason why you went through all that, right? Vina did all of this because of me because she loves me. I'm just stupid,"

"B-babe,"

"I know we're okay, but I still can't get over to what happened. I'm thinking that what if I trusted you? What if I listened to your explanation?"

"I'm asking myself if I still deserve you and our son. Because.. because I am the reason why you suffered."

"Are you saying that we shouldn't be okay by now? That you want to leave us?" I can feel my eyes watering.

He looked up quickly. "That's not what I mean babe,"

"Then what? That's what I am thinking now because of what you've said," I said.

"I only feel remorse for my wrong decisions but I will never leave you and Chase, you are m family, my everything. And I will do everything to make Vina pay for what she did,"

"Calm down babe, everything happens for a reason. The important thing is that we are together now. How many times have I told you not to blame yourself, it's already happened and we can't do anything about it," I said.

"I know, I just can't stop thinking, about how many years have been wasted on us. "

I saw a smile on his lips. "I'm so lucky to have you Kiara, thank you for giving me another chance. I know it wasn't easy for you but you did it just to give Chase a complete family. You're an amazing woman,"

"I love you even though I'm mad at you. I can say that those trials made me stronger and I also want to be happy," I said while smiling.

"I want you back in my life, so I'll do everything to get you back even if you said that you hate me that time,"

"And I know that one of the reasons is, you don't want Aunt Calli and Uncle Dark to get mad at you," I laughed.

He scratched his head. "Of course! Dad is angry with me when he found out what I did, but of course, I understand because I did a wrong thing,"

"I hope all this will be over so that our lives can all go back to normal," I said weakly and then leaned my head on his shoulder.

I can't help but laugh because he was so serious when he said that. "I never said I wouldn't marry you!"

"What did the doctor say?" Nigel asked.

"Did you talk to him? He didn't want to talk to us earlier." I said.

He nodded. "Kaye didn't hurt him, he was taken care of and fed properly,"

"Looks like Kaye is also a victim here, I think Vina brainwash her and guaranteed that she will help her to get you back again," Nigel's said.

"That's what I think, she looks like she regrets what she did. And another thing is that she was motivated by the woman she is talking about. But of course, she will still pay for what she did at first,"

I sighed. "It's not easy to forget what happened to me, I can't even forgive her now but I know that the right time will come. Kaye is only human and can make mistakes because none of us are perfect. She apologized and it looks like she regretted everything but I just hope she can help us for her cousin," I said.

We also didn't stay long at the hospital because our son asked to go home while m brother stayed there to fix some things. I didn't complain anymore because I wanted also to rest. I didn't have enough rest.
