Storm POV

I'm really surprised at what my sister is doing now, she even overcame the one with a lot of anger. Is that the effect of spending a few years in rehab? When she left, Nigel and I looked at each other, who could hardly take their eyes off Kiara.

"What did you do?" I asked him and the fool just smiled so I hit him.

"It's like you're not used to your sister always being angry with me,"

"You deserve it because you're stupid, you must thank her for allowing you to see and be with your son, if you will ask me I will help her hide Chase,"

"Damn you! I know that you only want them to be happy, so even if you're mad at me, you can't do that because you still want Chase to have a complete family,"

"I am the only one destined to be your sister and I know that I am the only one you want to be your brother-in-law because you know me well. You cannot entrust your sister to someone you do not know.,"

"That's my mistake because whoever else I know is the one who hurt my sister. Imagine you're my friend and I entrusted Kiara to you but you just messed up!"

"Alright, did you find anything to replace me? Nothing, right?"

"My sister is close to being perfect and you know there are many guys who like her," I smirked.

"No matter what other men do, they know that Kiara won't like them, I'm the only one she loves,"

"She loved you before but now are you sure you're still the same?" I said.

He smiled. "I'm sure of that,"

I just shook my head. I'm still mad at him but he's still my best friend and I know I can entrust my sister to him again than to someone else. He already learned his lesson and I know he will be more careful now. I can see how he manages to be a good father to Chase and how he does everything just to make Kiara forgive him so I know he regrets what he did before.

It's been a few months since Kiara has been discharged and I can see Nigel's persistence, even though my sister almost pushed him, he didn't budge, I know that he loves her so much and I still believe that my sister still has a love for him. After all, they're both victims here.

"So what's your plan?" I asked him.

"I already told you, Give me one day. After that, I'll be going back to the Philippines,"

"Are you sure of your decision?" he told me his plan and I understood him.

I saw his nod. "I'm sure, this is what should be done so that she can get better and the company needs me. You know that Dad and I are not okay until now. I need to get his trust again,"

"That's your karma! But it's up to you, you're grown up and you know what's right." I said, he didn't take long and left because their son was already asleep. He will come back tomorrow.

When he left, I went straight to the dining room and saw my sister eating. What could this woman have done?

"What do you need, brother? You look like a fool there just staring at me. Has your friend left?" she said.

"Why are you asking? Do you want him to stay here? I can call him." I tease her.

"Oh shut up brother, it's not funny,"

"Acting like you don't care but the truth is you still care," I said.

She looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about? Don't assume things brother, I don't care about him anymore. I'm mad at him,"

"You're mad in your mind, but your heart tells you something else. I know you still love him, but you're just stabbing him in the ass because you're angry because of what he did to you." I said.

"What are you talking about brother? I know you hate him too but of course, he is your best friend so you can forgive him but easily but not me,"

"And you're my sister so I know you. I know if what you say is different from what you act Kiara, you still love him but you're just afraid of getting hurt again." I insist.

"If I were you, just go to Bea, what you are saying is not true. I will not go back to him, I don't even want to get close to him,"

I laughed so she looked at me with a frown. "Are you crazy? Why are you laughing? There's nothing funny about what I'm saying." she said annoyed.

"You're the funny one my dear sister, you can't get close to him?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"Why are you stammering? Are you hiding something?" I ask.

"Nothing! Do you think I can hide something from you? Psh!"

"It's obvious that's why you didn't hide it anymore," I said meaningfully.

"What do you want to convey?"

"What did you and Nigel do earlier without us?" I asked her, smiling.

"W-what are you talking about? Nothing! He just arrived when you guys got home." She avoided looking at me.

"Really Princess Kiara Alcantara?" I pissed her off even more.

"Yes! Stop saying my name."

"Just arrived? Or maybe my friend has been here for a while? You can tell me the truth." I said.

"I am telling the truth!"

"You're angry but you're still fragile," I said emphatically.

"You can't fool me, Kiara, I know Nigel was here before we came back. What did you two do?" I ask.

"Nothing! You're annoying!"

I couldn't help it and I burst out laughing. "Nothing? Then why do you have those red marks on your neck? You're not good at lying," I said. She quickly touched her neck and looked at me.

"So? Any explanation about it my sister?" I repeat.

"Stop being a jerk, brother, get out of my sight!"

"If you didn't want to admit it, you would have hidden it so I didn't see it. I'm telling you, you're still really fragile when it comes to Nigel." I said.

"You're saying? Oh, what if I have something like this? That's all it is." She is still trying to convince me.
