Chapter 84: Chapter 84

Lillian paced in Kayas room watching as Anna fluffed Kayas pillow, relaxing her in her bed, the light burn on her shoulder, glowing brightly before disappearing as the dragon snorted.

The doorbell suddenly rang and Aunt Lily froze, "that's her, that's got to be her,” she said full on panicking, "what should I tell her? She won't believe anything I say! I'm screwed!" She said biting her lip, "if I tell her about witches and Lycan and dragons she will know I've lost my mind! And she wouldn't be far from the truth because I feel like it-"

"Relax" Anna said rubbing her shoulder, as the doorbell rang again,

Liam stood up, “Let’s just tell her Kaya isn't feeling well that it, she doesn't need to worry herself too much, at least not now" he said walking toward Lillian, "Come on, Gabrielle’s waiting." He said before heading out the door in a calm cool and collected manner.

Lillian watched him shocked for a moment before she turned back to Anna, "you can do it" she said, before Lillian glanced at Ally who gave a big thumbs up.

With that, a little confidence resurfaced and she walked out of the door.

"Is Gabrielle that bad?" Anna asked whispering lowly to Ally.

Ally shrugged, "it's been a while since I saw her, but if I remember correctly she's always been a little overprotective of Kaya" she replied.

No sooner had she said this than they heard a bunch of voices, one seemed to be harsh and loud, then a slap of some sort before a few stomps were heard coming up the stairs, someone calling Kaya’s name in the process, the door was slammed open and a woman with a very similar resemblance to Kaya stood before them wide eyed when her eyes landed on Kaya, a huffing Lillian following after and a red faced Liam right behind her.

"Kaya?" Gabrielle rushed, practically running to her daughter and completely ignoring Anna and Ally who immediately stood up to give her space, she slipped in in her side, her hands shaking as she touched her daughter, "baby?" She asked slowly shaking her gently, but to no avail, Kaya barely flinched. She shook her harder panicking but still no result her eyes glazed over calling Kayas name lightly tapping her cheek.

She had not expected this, not this.

"She's not feeling well Gabrielle, she's sleeping," Liam announced though his voice was a blubbery mess.

Gabrielle's eyes shot to him in complete fury, one even Anna knew not to mess with, “Are you Blind Liam? She's not conscious, Call the doctor! What is wrong with you people?!" She yelled, she looked at the mad people before her whose eyes were focused on floor not moving.

She pulled out her phone, dialing 911, "Baby you’re going to be okay" she eased softly rubbing Kayas arm

Her phone was snatched away from her suddenly by Lillian, causing Gabrielle to shoot up, "Have you lost your mind completely!"

Lillian shook her head, "you're over reacting Gabby,” she began backing away from her.

"I swear to the heavens Lily, if you don't being my phone back so I can save my daughter they'll be calling 911 cause I murdered somebody-"

"Gabrielle" Liam began soothingly

"Don't YOU EVEN DAR-"

"Mom" a small voice said, before a series of coughs was heard, Gabrielle immediately turned round to meet her daughter, clasping her hand in hers, brushing her hair back, "Kaya dear? Mom's here love" she eased rubbing her hand.

Kaya blinked trying to get everything into focus, but everything seemed blurry and distant. Was that really her mom? But her mom was in Tokyo. Was she hallucinating? She could barely make out the relieved faces of Aunt Lily and her Dad as blinking twice when she heard a few more voices and soon saw another woman hovering over her, one she barely recognized

"Ally call Abigail and tell her Kayas awake" the woman said and Kaya felt her cold hands on her forehead causing her to shiver, trying in vain to make things out past the four, turning her head to the side to see if what she had seen before was true, "mom?" She repeated again seeing the blurry face of her mother once more, this must be a dream once more, and she could barely make out the words her mother was saying as her lips moved but with muffle sound, she could only read her name off them.

"She's not picking up" someone said again causing her turn her head slightly to see the rough outline of a figure that looked like Kaya,

Then a burn again, the burn. She yelled put clasping hold to the blanket, hearing someone ask what was really wrong with her, someone who sounded much like her mom.

"Hurry! Go home and get Abigail" the woman said to the figure that looked like Ally.

"Mom," was the last thing Kaya said before she passed out one more time.
