Chapter 76: Chapter 76

Azian had completely frozen in position for a total of thirty seconds, causing Abigail to move toward him worriedly but took the same steps back when he suddenly burst into a fiery glow.

An unearthly sound suddenly emerged from what seemed like nowhere, so high yet so loud. It reminded Abigail of the first time she had met Azian, when he first froze time.

His skin was glowing and underneath much like the previous night his veins began to glow, starting from his hands all the way up to his neck swerving around his closed eyes.

Abigail gasped pulling Alessia behind her protectively watching as they glowed brighter underneath his skin.

Khloe took a shaky step back, away from him, his heat swerved around him in waves.

"Something is definitely not right" Ena exclaimed her heart thudding as suddenly Azian was nothing but a ball flames. It was like he had stepped right into the heart of a raging fire,

He seemed to not be him as Alpha took over, then suddenly a blanket of flames flew up about three feet off the ground on either sides of him, glowing brightly.

His head was bowed low before he finally looked up, his eyes flying open. Instantly the flames surrounding him died out, the blanket of flames on either side of him, hanging three feet in the air suddenly cooled, fading away into two huge golden wings, smooth like a plate of golden metal, and two shimmery horns protruding from each point of conjunction. He looked like he had just been reborn.

Alessia gasped clasping hold of Anna and Abigail in fear at the thing that looked like Azian but somehow wasn't completely him.

He suddenly turned around so fast his large wings spread to cover an impressive amount of space, the tip of its ever sharp edge slicing through Khloe's shoulder as she yelped out in pain, blood sipping down to the ground, as Azian shot up into the sky and in no time had disappeared.

Abigail hurriedly closed her eyes reaching out to Omega through their link reading only one thought before she was completely shut out.

"Kaya" she whispered to herself in complete shock.

"Azian. Has wings?" Mariah panted out her eyes as wide as saucers as Khloe’s arm healed up instantly.

"Where is Kaya at the moment?!" Abigail yelled grabbing Khloe by the shoulders

"Kaya?" She asked puzzled still not over the shock which was Azian, still looking up at the sky Azian had just disappeared into.

Abigail shook her mercilessly, "where is she?!" She yelled. Anything could be happening at the moment. Whatever Alpha was going to do would be brutal.

"I don't know! Maybe at school!" Khloe yelled back as Abigail pushed her to the side swiping her wrist in the air, disappearing.

"Kaya?" Ena echoed her face falling, "oh no" she said flicking her wrist and also disappearing,

Khloe looked puzzled, "what about Kaya?!"

Anna grabbed her daughter, "wait for Edwin" she ordered before grabbing Mariah and disappearing.

Khloe looked around before disappearing as well just as Edwin came jogging in from nowhere, "I saw everything! We have to go Alessia!" He said pulling her.

"Wait!" She yelled running to the spot Azian had shot up into the sky, searching around.

"What are you looking for?!" Edwin asked urgently.

"This," she paused smiling as she spotted Khloe's dry blood, from the wound she had gotten when Azian unexpectedly sliced her shoulder.

She began to mutter a few words and the blood separated from the soil, retaining its liquid form, rising up in the air, creating a liquid ball.

She quickly took out the flask from her bag and directed the liquid slowly into it.

She breathed out, closing the lid, "got it, let’s go" she said grabbing Edwin's arm as she flicked her wrist.

**

Azians powerful wings took him exactly where he intended to be, his eyes as solid as real gold, set on the one thing he was set to destroy.

He landed with a heavy thud through the school roof and into the Hallway just as Abigail appeared. The lights to the hallway flickered as the few students that were there looked at him in shock.

His wings flapped once behind him, long and powerful as he looked up, and saw his target.

Legion turned to see the one boy he had sensed on Kaya a few days ago. The boy who he couldn't quite understand belonged to any species but now standing at the end of the hall way, his eyes set exclusively on him.

He knew a threat when he saw it, but he still was too shocked to understand why.

Alpha stormed towards him, his wings so large they couldn't fit in the hallway lined with lockers, instead their golden sharp edges slashed through the lockers like a knife in butter, so easily so smooth.

Yet sparks flew with each step.

Abigail gasped just as Anna, Ena and Maria appeared, throwing her magic at him, knowing there was nothing she could do to stop him at that moment but change the dimension so he wouldn't hurt anybody.

She thought it had worked when his large wings stopped slicing through the lockers and instead passed harmlessly through them like ghost and through the few shaken students that littered the hall but her heart fell when Azian lunged for Legion.

His hands gripped his shirt slamming him into the opposite wall, his wings flapping, completely destroying the lights which began to flicker as Azian slammed Legion into the opposite locker,

Legion howled in sudden surprise but not for long as Xeric fought himself out, his claws scraping Azians arm. Tearing through them.

He in turn barely flinched throwing Legion across the hallway.

Abigail yelped as a half Lycan prince came rolling a foot away from her, immediately putting up a barrier to stop anyone from getting hurt as Azian stalked towards Legion, his eyes a blazing flame of gold, his golden wings vertical as they trailed behind him, a wicked smirk forming on his lips as Legion watched his claw mark heal in a second like it was nothing.

It was then he wondered what it was Azian was. Winged men don't heal that fast, and they don't have metal golden wings.

He growled as Azian approached, Xeric completely taking over as his eyes turned pitch black his Lycan emerging.

Azian lunged at him grabbing him, or it, it was a dog to him by the neck, lifting it up, his eyes a shimmering fury, a hunt that wouldn't end till blood was drawn.

He flapped his wings and in a second they were up more than sixty feet into the air.

Xeric thrashing against his hold, his claws swiping at Azian who healed instantaneously, his solid golden eyes, showing no fear, no pain, only fury, and anger.

There was a rule every golden dragon followed.

And legion had broken it.

Azian paused in the air, clouds swarming around them as if attracted to his gigantic wings that could have made anyone blind as it shimmered in the sun. His hand on Legions neck had not loosened as he focused his solid eyes on the pathetic beast before him.

Is this what thought itself worthy to touch what was his? He grinned as Xeric thrashed against his hold pulling his face towards him, the beast was no match for him. He was nothing compared to a golden dragon. The sun owned the moon.

He tightened his hold around its neck,

"I was told cats always land on their feet." Alpha bellowed a wicked smirk forming as Xeric growled, he pulled him closer his gingers digging into his skin, his voice deep and deadly "I hope it’s the same for dogs"

With a flick of his hand Legion was discarded like he was nothing, Azian flying back not bothering what could have happened to the prince.

Why would he?

*******

Kaya leaned against the bathroom sinks in the girl’s toilet, once again, this had been her sanctuary.

She shut her eyes groaning, "Why did I run?" She asked herself quite displeased. "He kisses you and you run, great going Kaya, now he's going to think it’s his fault when it all you!" She scolded herself turning to face the mirrors, replaying what it was that had transpired.

The kiss wasn't bad, it was the guilt that came after, like she had committed a crime, a sin.

She sighed remembering how she had literally ripped herself from Legion hold running to take refuge in the bathroom.

This was not cool, totally not cool.

Where was Ally when you needed her?

What would she do now? Legion was probably outside waiting for her, and she had to come out sooner or later. Dad and Aunt Lily were parked outside.

She suddenly paused as the building shook, the lights flickering for a few seconds.

Her eyebrows furrowed, but relaxed when nothing happened again. A few seconds later there was a slight shake and again the lights flickered.

She paused turning to face the mirror pausing as if expecting to feel the earth shake again but nothing happened at all.

She shook her head, thinking it must have been her head, she washed her face patting it dry. She had to go out there and face him, before Dad or Aunt Lily came to fish her out.

.she sighed wiping her hands on the paper towels when she heard someone walk in, immediately turning to face them.

She was caught off guard when she saw Azian stalking towards her with swirling golden eyes.

"A-Azian" she stuttered out taking a step back in shock as he tugged her jacket pulling her towards him in a rough hug, taking in her gorgeous scent.

He needed to be calm. And only she could calm him,

How was he here? He hadn't come to school today? What was this feeling of relief, guilt and anger swarming deep inside her as he higher her close?

"I don't want to scare you Kaya, but Legion might be dead" he muttered his face buried in her neck

Her humped thumped loudly in horror as his fingers pulled her closer to him, relief flooding every inch of her skin, a soft burn sizzling past every feel of his hands on her skin, "what?" She managed to say.

His hands cradled the side of her head looking down into her lovely golden brown eyes, "I couldn't let him have you, touch you Kaya" he said, before suddenly claiming her lips with passion, one that had been burning inside her for a while.

She kissed him back passionately, the guilt having no say in what feeling were playing through her mind at the moment.

She had missed him.

So badly.

She pulled off panting hard, "no! No Azian! Not again! You can't have us both!" She screeched the guilt finally catching up with her.

She had a mate, he had his. Then what was all this?

He growled lowly in irritation causing her eyes to widen, as he pulled her back, "I don't have a mate Kaya, I only have you" he replied softly, his eyes softening.

She looked down to the ground her eyes watering and tears betraying her "b-but you said K-Khloe and now"...she trailed off biting her lip.

Azian grinned, his eyes studying his precious possession, his fingers brushed her hair away, a wish to kiss her tears away as he held her close, "Shh" he eased, "I only belong to you"

As he said those words the bathroom door flew open and a breathless group of people stood watching them. Abigail, Ena, Marian, Ally, Khloe, Alessia and Edwin froze, failing to go further through the barrier Azian had placed around him and Kaya.

Kaya sniffled shaking her head as Azian played with her brown locks, the one he loved so much, she was his and there was no changing that.

"B-but." She began trailing off, her red eyes glancing up at him, "Legions my mate" she whispered.

Azian froze at those words. He shifted his eyes to the group of people before him, Abigail, Ena, even Edwin and saw their faces fall.

They had known. They had known all this while and hadn't told him

His rage was a strange one, one he had never experienced before, because instead of trashing, cursing and shouting he felt a calm.

A creepy calm.

A fed up calm

"A-Azian?" Kaya whispered as his nose trailed slowly from her neck.

"Silly girl" he whispered his voice shallow and deep, sending all the hairs on her body standing at full attention.

Azian looked straight at Abigail. Abigail's eyes falling, as she read omegas last thought before he shut her out, locking the connection once and for all.

"Don't you know that Dragons don't share?" he whispered in her ear, his eyes Omegas green, Alphas gold and Azians blue, a smile forming on his smile before teeth,

Teeth is all the group so before they came crashing down onto Kaya, deep and firm.

Kaya screamed out as what felt like fire engulfed her right shoulder, the burn eating her down like Acid, her hands clutching firmly onto Azian.

To them, ultra that is, they had never experienced something so sweet, so deliriously wonderful it made them drunk with passion and obsession.

Kaya soon passed out in Azians arms as he took his sharp teeth out, holding her firmly, and blood stained on the floor.

Aunt lily screamed as her and Liam showed up to the commotion, eyes widening.

Azian's smirked before suddenly, his wings came back out of nowhere, lifting Kaya and shooting out somewhere into the big blue sky.
