Chapter 59: Chapter 59

Azians POV

“Khloe and I will get some drinks,” Alessia announced but I barely heard her at all, trying my best to be as subtle as possible as I stared at her from the corner of my eye.

Her back was facing me which made Alpha and Omega grumble but I on the other hand was thankful she couldn't see my poor attempt of hiding my growing attraction for her.

I ached to be near her and I was slowly praying for the sun to set again so she and I could be together.

I felt a tap on my back and quickly turned to see both Khloe and Alessia walk away. Alpha growled knowing that it was Khloe that touched us.

It was now extremely hard to ignore that Alpha despised our mate, but strangely I didn't care.

I hated the sound of mate and Khloe in one sentence, it made my insides burn and I could feel myself clench as Alpha threatened to take over for reasons beyond me. So, I instead went back to half staring at Kaya to ease him a little.

It felt painful to some extent, not being near her, a longing I couldn't quench that was just so frustrating. I closed my eyes bowing my head for a minute breathing in tightly trying to ease myself.

Grr. He growled suddenly as if a warning. I opened my eyes and I caught sight of Legion.

He made his way slowly towards my Kaya and sat down. All eyes were on him at this moment, allowing my eye colors to rotate around the three of us.

The Lycan and werewolf boys that sat three tables away from us quickly stopped talking staring at their plate. They knew the presence of their Alpha anywhere that I knew.

I had heard the stories of Legion courtesy of Anna, the Rogue Lycan Prince. He didn't seem that dangerous to me but he was definitely very irritating at the moment.

Why was it he always seemed to be near Kaya? Out of all the girls he could have from his species he would choose the human girl which was my possession.

Ours.

I could feel my eyes twitch in a growing irritation, my fingers began tapping on the desk suddenly, and a habit I never had as all three of us watched the tiny space between Legion and Kaya slowly close.

"Stop it Azian now,” Edwin growled lowly, causing me to snap to him.

My eyebrows hunched but I couldn't think straight at the moment, “he’s too close" I grumbled feeling my breath quicken.

I suddenly felt very hot, the kind of heat that began to erupt from deep within, I had never felt this way before.

Some people called it rage.

Edwin's hand firmly clamped down on my arm, "look at me"

I was so tempted to look back at kaya but I knew Edwin was working his magic on me, "let's go, lunch is over for us" he demanded standing up, his hand still latched tightly on my arm.

He was just trying to helping us.

Was he? Was he helping us?

I knew those questions came from Alpha who was the most irritated of us all. I took a deep breath walking out of the cafeteria, but not before glancing one last time at Kaya, but I was met with Legions cold gaze one.

**

Edwin dragged me into the almost empty hall way, clasping the bridge of his nose in irritation.

He was irritated? I was frustrated.

"This ends now!" He stated firmly.

"What ends?" I asked innocently though I knew exactly what he meant. I wondered if there was a nice way of telling him he couldn't order me to do shit.

Alphas words not mine.

"The midnight visits, it ends, all that has happened since you started is an obsession. You are drawing farther from your mate! If I didn't calm you who knows what could have happened in there?! Your eyes we're flashing all sorts of colors!"

I rolled my eyes, " your overreacting Edwin, there's been a positive twist in all this. Alphas talking now right?  Isn’t that Progress! And there's still two more days till our week long agreement."

Yeah two more days till I would just have to find another excuse to be near her.

"No, no more." Edwin said flatly, "I don't care anymore, this is obviously not helping. Humans are not as stupid as you think. With all the stares you give her, that incident the other day? It's becoming way too obvious this is more than just trying to get your dragon out!"

"Are we seriously discussing this here? At school. In an open hall way?" I asked very irritated now.

"You haven't denied it! At first I thought it was just alpha and his needs but it's all three of you,”

"Edwin just-"

"No, this is final, you are not going back there, ever!" He roared.

I closed my eyes trying to contain myself.

I did not.

I DID NOT LIKE IT WHEN A MINOR ORDERS HIS ALPHA.

Alphas heat traveled through me and I clenched my jaw trying to suppress him from doing something we might regret in future, but I could barely have a grip of him.

I took a step toward Edwin till we were a hairs breath away from each other, towering over him.

I opened my eyes feeling myself at the back my mind knowing fully well I had failed to cage Alpha, my hands forming hard fists in desperation to pull him black.

I could feel the heat around my eyelids as they swarmed gold. Whatever I looked like must have been scary because Edwin's eyes widened and his breath hitched, “DON’T. TELL. ME .WHAT. TO. DO" Alpha growled in a tone I never thought existed.

I saw Edwin nod slowly with a soft gulp. His eyes a purple mist.it was then I realized Alpha had used his Alpha command on Orion, as he let out another snarl.

There was a pause between us before I felt a tap on my back. I knew. I just knew,  I was going to lose it at that moment, if Khloe touched me one more time! Good heavens Erania knows I'm not in the mood to play pretend.

I turned around as my eyes dissolved back to blue, Alpha already knowing I would gladly tell her off this time. She was still a girl, his kind of force was too much for her.

I swung around ready to tell but I lost my breath when I came face to face with kaya.

I suddenly felt very tiny under her gaze, I had never felt like this before, like a little puppy both lost and confused.

"H-hello" she greeted barely meeting my eyes and instead glancing at Edwin.

Edwin's eyebrows furrowed probably wondering why she was even talking to us. She never did, not even because we were friends with her sister. She always seemed to be comfortable with her one friend. And Legion.

"Hey" Edwin replied for us.

"I- uhmm" she trailed off still not meeting my eyes but ending on my chest. I almost let out a chuckle she was so cute. Too cute for her own good.

She shut her eyes for a second groaning, muttering something about having courage before her eyes suddenly shot up to mine holding my gaze as she blurted out a string of unfamiliar  words.

"What?" I asked not at all having heard anything she had just said.

"I said I know you visit me at night, every night actually, and I have proof you do.  I want to talk to you,” she glanced at Edwin, “privately, after school in the library, I will be waiting for you there, so you can explain yourself."

When this settled through me I couldn't think at the moment. I should deny it, I should. I could feel Edwin's hard glare on me.

"Are you feeling okay?" Edwin answered in my stead, not the best reply he could have mustered I suppose. It had an ‘are you crazy?’ ring to it.

Her eyes snapped to him with a hard glare he really did deserve.

"I don't know what you're saying, uhmm... maybe you-" I began not even knowing where I should begin lying from.

Alpha was enjoying this and I could hear Omega snicker in the back.

"Cut the crap, I know you do, and I'm not talking to you,” she said looking at me.

My eyebrows hunched at this and I glanced at Edwin who seemed more relaxed at this and shrugged.

"Who are you talking to?" I asked feeling slightly possessive.

"Alpha" she replied with a smirk.

At the sound of his name Alpha growled, being more attentive than ever.

I could feel the silence within me as our heart pace quickened.

"And he, he will come to library" she ordered smirking as she eyed both our shocked expressions. With a flip of her hair she was gone.

"What the- how did she- does she-- Azian?!" Edwin roared.

I couldn't wrap my head around it. Not quick enough to reply to his questions. She was clever.

She knew that name would bring out a reaction in me and I gave it to her like she expected. Even without her proof that was proof enough.

Edwin pulled out his phone, "I'm calling Abigail."

I grabbed it away from him, "why do you want to stress her?" I asked.

“Stress? The girl knows! This charade is over!" He half yelled. He was the one that looked stressed.

"She doesn't know anything." I eased, "Okay so I might have let the name Alpha slip out and she may have proof that we come to her room, but how on earth would she know anything else?"

His silence meant he was listening.

"Let me talk to her, at least find out what she knows first before any drastic decisions", I eased switching off his phone.

He gritted his teeth, " Fine, do it, find out what she knows, then deny it Azian, her proof can't be that good, after this we need to talk" he added watching something behind me.

I was about to say something when I heard Alessia's voice, "there you are!"

**

I don't know how Edwin managed to get Khloe's claws off me but she was lucky.

One more word and I would have said things I don't believe I would regret.

It was a good thirty minutes after school and we were still on school grounds. The parking lot was empty and I made my way to the library wondering if it was possible Kaya would still be here.

In my defense I would have come earlier if it wasn't for the fact that I had no excuse as to why I wanted to stay late after school or how to get away from my supposed mates grasp.

The library was quiet and I could only see a handful of students spread here and there all surprised to see me here of course. I wasn't exactly what you would call a nerd.

"Are you lost, Azian?" A woman asked, I turned to see the librarian looking both excited and frightened.

"I'm okay, just looking" I replied moving around.

She probably had left, I had taken way too long. She was not at any one of the tables so I decided to look through the aisles.

I had never really entered the library and didn't think it was as big as this.

After searching five rows, on the sixth one I found her. She was beside one of the shelves flipping through a book, alone.

I watched her for a few seconds feeling my breath hitch as I watched every inch of her till she suddenly looked at me gasping.

She touched her heart, "you scared me,” she said her voice barely above that of a whisper.

"Sorry,” I apologized walking toward her as she put the book back on the shelf.

"Well, you wanted to talk,” I began being as careful as possible with my words, it would be too easy to stumble and do or say something regrettable.

She gave me a half smile handing me her iPad. I could tell she was nervous from the slight shake in her hands. I wanted nothing more than to pull her into me, I couldn't stop imagining how good it would feel to claim her out here in the open. But I had to restrain myself.

Our fingers touched lightly and I felt a burn, but as quickly as we touched she let go.

I felt irritated by it opting to watch the video she had put out for me.

I should have been dumbfounded but I felt myself chuckle at my stupidity, I knew I hated human gadgets and stuff.

She really did sneak one by me, I now knew Omega was not as clever as he claimed to be.

I could feel Omega roll his eyes.

So she's caught us, what next? Alpha asked excitedly. He was probably happy we didn't have to hide anymore

But he forgot we had to make it look like there was nothing, that's if we wanted to be allowed to keep going to visit her, so I told Omega to do it.

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?" She asked crossing her arms.

I glanced at her throwing my best confused look, "somebody is visiting you at night, but I don't see how you think it's me"

She looked at me, with an 'are you kidding?' Expression. "Do you not see yourself?" She asked taking the iPad from me, she reminded and fast forwarded the video, then did it again her eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

I knew exactly what she was seeing, yes there was a guy in her room but there was no proof it had been me. I had removed ever part my face could be seen.

She froze suddenly turning to me, “you did something" she stated plainly.

"Me?" I asked playing the innocent part perfectly.

She rewinded the video again, “you did something!" She repeated her voice louder.

"What could I have possibly have done? I barely touched the thing" I argued.

Her mouth dropped, glaring at me, "you - you," She trailed off gasping her lips pursed into a thin line.

I had the urge to chuckle, she looked so cute when she was mad.

"Are you feeling okay? I suggest you take this matter up with the proper authorities, if someone is sneaking into your room when you sleep it's an issue. But then again you don't normally kiss your intruders with so much. Uhmm passion" I played along with her, trying in vain to hide the smile threatening to burst through.

Her cheeks heated up clutching the iPad close to her, "I -I." She trailed off and I couldn't help the small grin that outlined my face.

"Fine!" She finally said holding her head up high, it seemed she would go down with her dignity.

Cute.

She grabbed her bag that had been laying on the ground, “since this isn't you, " she said holding up the iPad, "I don't want to see you near me ever again! No more midnight visits! You stay away from me" she snarled.

Her command came strong and clear and just like that the grin flew off my face and before she could stomp away I had her pinned against the shelves.

This was no longer a game and none of us were playing.

I could feel her heart beating very fast as I hovered over her caging her in, I closed my eyes trying to get rid of the burning sensation inside me, “take that back" I whispered lowly.

I could feel the shelves begin to slowly shake as I tried to keep Alphas rage in. I opened my eyes slowly coming into contact with her shocked one's and her shivering hands, “take. That. Back. Kaya." I ordered dangerously slow.

She did not understand the gravity of her words. What powers she had over me.

She glanced at the books that rattled on the shelves. I would bring down this whole library if I had to.

Books began to fall off shelves and I could hear a girl shout earthquake! In another row. I could feel my eyes swarm to Alphas Golden ones it was in this moment she finally spoke, "I take it back, all of it!" She yelled.

The moment she said this Alpha purred laying back to sleep in the back of my mind as if he had not just done something that we could have regretted.

I could feel her eyes on me, so confused and scared but I felt better now and suddenly I didn't care about Edwin or what he thought I should do.

I wrapped my hands around her waist hearing her let out a small gasp dropping my chin on her shoulder breathing her in.

I felt calmer and the rage that once had been dwindled into nothingness. I didn't want to say Edwin was right, but I didn't mind being obsessed with her. It seemed right.

I brushed my lips against her neck feeling her small Goosebumps before whispering her name in her ear with a longing I felt deep within me, she shivered in response and I kissed below her ear, wondering if she would mind us making out here.

That thought came to a halt when I smelt Alessia’s and Khloe’s presence in the library. I sighed, guess Edwin couldn't keep them down for long.

"We will talk about this, later tonight,” I whispered to her, reluctantly letting her go.
