Azian’s POV

The Car ride to school would have been painfully quiet and awkward if it weren't for Alessia’s singing all the way. I knew she only did this to break the silence in the car at the moment.

But I was in my own world. My spirits were high and I honestly didn't think anything could get me down at the moment, not Edwin’s looks or the scowl carved onto Khloe’s face. She hadn't tried to touch me again since breakfast. In fact we had hardly spoke but again I didn't give a damn.

I was heading to school, and school meant I would see her.

I pulled into the parking lot, my eyes hidden beneath my usual shades but still as attentive as ever, already on high alert to just spot her.

And I did.

She was talking to her Aunt who had parked a few spaces away from us. Everyone got out the car heading into school as I locked it. I lagged behind watching as Kaya walked into the building.

I suddenly felt a curious pair of eyes and turned expecting Edwins only to be met with Kayas friend, Ally.

My jaw clenched involuntarily as I realized she saw me openly staring at her best friend.

I had to be more careful in public, I thought as I walked away, seeing them meet at the center of the hallway from the corner of my eye.
