Chapter 41: Chapter 41

AzAzians POV

I parked the hammer outside the villa, still feeling as tired as hell, warn out from everything and anything.

Kaya had not known what she had done when she sent me away. She was like a drug, one that Alpha had taken only twice but couldn't stop bitching about.

This was strange because I was used to being worn out but since I had tasted what it meant to be whole, being taken from that again was worse than the first time.

I would have much rather curled back in bed, but my room was a wreck and Abigail was yelling her head off at me for ruining the house.

Even with magic it would take some time to repair.

And of course there was the small issue of having had promised Khloe to go to Sunday dinner with her. It was only fair I met her mother. I was going to spend the rest of my life with her.

The rest of my life?

I suddenly felt even more worn out as Khloe placed a kiss on my cheek bringing me back to reality.

Everything was quiet. Omega had disappeared to the point I wondered if I still had his dragon at all.

"We're here, let's go baby," Khloe began opening the car door.

I sighed, "C’mon guys, it's only for two hours" I muttered to my dragon and power.

No response.

“Don’t leave me alone in this,” I warned but the silence remained.

I sighed sliding on his shades as he got out of the car, I seriously had no energy left to even admire or take in the sight which was Khloe’s house.

The first thing I felt was cold.

Lifeless. Well what did I expect? Vampires. Hello.

"The dining room is over there, mother dearest will be so happy to see you" she squealed clutching onto my arm.

A deep growl sounded at the back of my mind and then I felt it.

"She's here" Alpha said

Immediately I could feel omega stir up.

Suddenly my whole demeanor changed. I could feel a slow easiness settle inside him, I could already feel her energy.

When my eyes finally rested on her Alpha purred, something no king of dragons was ever meant to do.

But she never looked up to see any of us, her eyes we're fixed on her plate or glancing at the friend she was always with or her father.

This bothered all three of us.

We were used to her stares, I mean could feel them wherever she was, in the school halls, or cafeteria.

She probably was shy. She still thought it was a dream. Thanks to Omega with that kiss he always gives her, it does fuzzy up her brain.

She was meaning to forget me. Something I couldn't let her do, I needed her, the gods where giving me another chance.

"Khloe Darling!" A woman said. One I had barely even noticed. Strange. This woman was indeed strange, she was not a vampire.

The magic that flew within her was strong. Very strong. So strong it reminded me of Abigail. But something was missing. She could be a third level which but even so, she must be a pretty strong one.

She was very beautiful. Her eyes sparkled brighter than emeralds. She indeed was a sight.

She stood up walking gracefully towards them, allowing me to get a better glimpse, yet still her face seemed fuzzy.

"Mother meet Azian, Azian, my mother, Stephanie" Khloe beamed.

The smile that was placed on Stephanie’s face was one that beamed with pride and even victory, either way-something made Omega growl. One thing Omega never did.

I ignored him offering her a handshake which she refused and turned to a hug.

"Wow you are indeed lovely Mrs.-"

"Just call me Stephanie," she eased.

"Stephanie, Mr. Joston is lucky to have you" I said politely.

"Indeed I am,” Mr. Joston replied," my wife is gorgeous"

I failed to keep looking at Stephanie though, she was pretty no doubt but something about her beauty made my eyes hurt looking too long at her. My eyes trailed to the one person who hadn't yet looked up at him, her soft features. So soft.., "yes, very beautiful" he whispered.

She was one of a kind.

"Okay!" Stephanie shouted suddenly grabbing my arm, my whole attention was immediately back to her, "Khloe why don't you take a sea and join us?"

I was placed right in front Kaya, "Ally right?" I asked as Ally nodded, returning with a greeting, a light blush dancing across her cheeks.

I nodded politely before I let my gaze settle on my possession. I had long held a truce with Alpha on the condition of good behavior. He would not let his possession forget them, "Hello, Kaya, Isn’t it?" I asked

He couldn't help the faint smirk that outlined my lips when she finally looked at him.

Let's see if she could send me off in real life.
