"Ouch"I groaned as I woke up feeling aches in my eyes.i must have cried so much.
I was about getting up from my bed when
"Aunt Phoebe!"I heard the twins yell as they ran in jumping in me on the bed.what were they doing here
"Huh?guys?"I asked surprisely as Zayn walked in and closed the door
"We missed you aunt Phoebe"Clair said hugging me
"Missed you too"I told them
"You might want to check your phone"Zayn said folding his arms, resting his back on the wall.i checked my phone seeing missed calls and messages from jax.i hissed dumping the phone on the bed
"Oh great"Zayn hissed
"I know you know"I said as the twins got down from the bed and walked out
"We all know Phoebe"he said
"I don't wanna talk about this Zayn"I said packing my hair as I adjusted myself on my bed
"Then who the fuck do you wanna talk about this shit to"he almost yelled
"Don't yell at me Zayn,why are you even here"I had to ask
"Jax called me,told me everything that happened and pleaded to me to take you to work, emmanuel is downstairs"he said
"It isn't his business"I said
"You're so annoying"he said as I got up from my bed

"Would you just walk yourself out of my room?"I demanded nicely.he did as I said with immediate effect.
I had my bath,got dressed and walked downstairs, meeting mum,dad and emmanuel in the dinning.i went to meet them
"Good morning"I greeted feeling uneasy
"Phoebe"mum called as she stopped eating,as well as dad, emmanuel stopped getting busy with his phone
"You're driving me to work."I asked emmanuel,he nodded yes.
"Thanks"I said
"Phoebe, about you and ja"I didn't let dad finish,I cut in
"Dad please,I don't want to talk about any Jax here.since he's too handsome and has decided to flaunt his beauty to every girl he comes across with,then let him.i don't care"I said feeling hurt, actually I do care
"You didn't give him a chance to explain"mum defended
"What the fuck does he have to explain"I yelled
"Phoebe"emmanuel warned
"I need to go to work"I said as low as I could as I walked out.emmanuel followed my lead as we both walked in his car.
"Phoebe"emmanuel called to as he drove
"I think you should calm down, please"he said calmly persuadedly

"Aside love,trust is the key in a relationship.how can a girl be so madly in love with a guy but don't even trust him"he asked
"Doesn't make sense? don't you trust Jax?I think you should forget the fact he's been mischievous in the past but he actually cares,he cares and love you so very much and that's more reason he could never hurt you or cheat on you or whatsoever.you guys have come a long way,a very long way and you want all that to waste simply because you feel he likes a girl,plus,you actually don't know if he likes her or not,you didn't let him explain Phoebe"he said
"Of course,Bennie did confess to him.she did what she felt was right okay, confessing her feelings before she kills herself of him, jealousy and depression. And besides Phoebe,why didn't you let the boss himself talk"he asked.he didn't answer,he just kept quiet when I asked if he liked her,so I just thought he really did like her.i couldn't answer emmanuel
"You really could have let him explain himself"he added
"I know you love him Phoebe and he loves you too,so I think you should talk to him and you guys talk Everything out okay"he said,I nodded
"Thanks"I thanked him
"You're welcome"he said as we reached our destination.we got down meeting the press.i hate this.
"Phoebe Erlone,Can you tell us about your relationship with the CEO Jax Hughes?can you tell us what transpired between the him and the guy he beat yesterday?are you guys still together?do you really love him?is it a make-up relationship?are you guys gonna get married????"many questions came running out
"Hey!"emmanuel yelled as they all got silent
"I think you guys should give her some privacy"he said as they departed,I sighed in relieve

"You're welcome,now go make it a day"he said.i walked in as he drove off.
I walked in my office quietly as I checked through my phone again seeing missed calls and messages from Jax Lucy,Hughes and from his mum.i sighed.honestly,I miss Jax so much but I know with time, we'll work things out.
JAX'S POV
Phoebe's call came in as I was in a departmental meeting with the head department workers.i couldn't pick up.i was gonna interrupt,also I was pissed off,so pissed off,I didn't like what happened between I and Phoebe.
I had tried calling her,she didn't pick or reply any of my messages.
She shouldn't be mad at me.she didn't let me explain myself.i sighed.
I'm not in anyway in love with bennie.it was just the expressions I gave to her that made her think I like bennie. and whatever bennie said to me was all trash and I better think she was out of her mind when she said that.
And about the guy I beat up,he really did deserved it because I knew and I hated the way he looked at Phoebe lustfully, I'm sure he learnt his lesson.
I fucking miss Phoebe.i love her so much to cheat on her.i really wanted to see her and apologize and tell her how much I love her.
"Get all the appointing documents of other companies who came today.i need to go through them before going on meetings with them as well as partnering with them in business"I said as I dismissed them.they all gathered out.
"CEO, CEO"I heard Bennie's call as I was leaving for my office.whats her problem.i stopped ,faced her, giving her a Stern and aggressive look.
"You've been really mean to me since this morning sir.... hm,I caused conflict between you and miss Erlone,didn't I?"she asked,I waited for her to answer the stupid question she asked
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry,I didn't mean to,I couldn't longer hold it, had to say it, I'm really sorry, please forgive me"she apologized.i just walked out,I couldn't stand her.
I sighed out as I walked in my office.mum call came in.
"You're cool with her now?"she asked
"No mum"I said sadly
"Don't worry son,you guys would work things out okay"she assured me

"You're still at work?"she asked
"Yes mum, I'd leave very late,I got so much work to do"I said
"Okay son,make sure you take care of yourself okay"she said

It was already very late when I left work for home.i decided to show up at Phoebe's house and explain things to her.i called her to check up,if she's at home,it was switched off.i called her dad but hewas like she wasn't back.
"Where could she have been"I said as I changed direction and headed back home
I got home meeting the lights on.i suspected someone was in.it could be tony.i walked in to my room,switched on the light meeting Phoebe all curled up on my bed.
I was happy to meet her here.i gently covered her with the blanket and then changed into a camouflage shorts and shirt.i looked at her,she must be hungry.i went to the kitchen preparing a nice meal for her.
"Phoebe"I called to her placing the food on the reading table.i climbed ok the bed, sitting, wanting to wake her up to eat
"Babe,wake up,you must be hungry"I said trying to pull her up gently.she groaned, flipping my hands away.
"I wanna sleep"she said sleepyly.i sighed as I laid beside her,but making sure my body wasn't in contact with hers.i knew she was still mad at me
"Jax"she sleep talked resting her head and hand on my chest,I missed her touch on me
"Missed you"she said in a breaking voice
"Missed you more baby"I said as I rubbed her hair.
PHOEBE'S POV
"Ouch!"I screamed lowly as I rolled down from the bed to the floor

"Ouch,my head"I said feeling a light ache.i managed to get up feeling dizzy and hungry. it was 3
"Jax's not yet back, I'm freaking hungry"I said as I walked out of the room, downstairs,still feeling kind of sleepy
"So hungry"I said hungrily as I opened the fridge bringing out peanut butter and bread
"Arghh,taste so good"I said as I rushed the food.as I rushed the food,I felt a touch on my shoulder,I got scared and immediately jerked away...to see Jax
"Huh?Jax?"I said surprisely as I quickly ate up the last slice in my hand
"You're awake, you're around"I said looking up at him
"Have been around,since last night"he said as he wiped away the stain on my lips.i bit my lips.i missed his touch,I missed him so much
"Hm actually,I was hungry,so I um"he cut in as I stammered
"I tried waking you up last night to eat,you just sleep talked and you wanted to sleep"he said looking down at me, shortness is a bastard, damn!
"You said you missed me"he said calmly
"And I missed you more Phoebe"he said with seriousness,I had to apologise for my misbehave
"I'm sorry Jax"I apologized
"I'm sorry too.i don't love Bennie,I don't at all.i acted that way because,i was shocked,I didn't see that coming at all,I didn't know how to react,and I was still angry from that guy that looked at you,so I was getting all mixed feelings and so disturbed, I'm sorry okay, I'm sorry babe,I love you not her,I love you very very much"he said holding my hands
"I'm sorry I overreacted too jax.i was just um jealous,I really was and pained.i'm sorry I didn't pick your calls and reply your messages"I said placing my hands on his face
"I love you and I'm sorry I misunderstood you"I said,he nodded as he leaned and kissed me deeply grabbing my ass.i pulled away.
"How's your hand babe, doesn't it still hurt"I said looking at his hands,he already bandaged it

"Yes I'll be,as long as I have you all to myself"he smirked as he carried me, making my legs depart on his waist and kissed me, grabbing on my ass as I placed my hands on his hair returning his kisses
He carried me that way to his room as we ended up making out.
Phoebe's POV
I walked out of the room,sleepyly looking for Jax.damn! The mansion was madly large.i managed to walk down stairs to the kitchen.
"Jax"I called his name as I hugged him from the back.i was kind of surprise, meeting him in yy kitchen, wearing on an apron.
"Babe"he called as he turned to me, holding my hands and pecked me on my forehead.
"You slept well?"he asked.i smiled,part of his face and hair was stained with flour
"Yes"I answered smiling, looking up at him

"This house is too large for us to cook and do all the work in here,mum can't be the one cooking,she got work to do,same as far and I trust myself,I ain't got no time for that"she said,I chuckled
"You better tell them to come back or you do them yourself"she added

Within the next few minutes,I was done with eating.
"Yishh, I'm fulll"I said walking to the sitting room
"Good"he told me.i hissed sitting on the couch,he sat two seats away from me
"Samuel should be here by now,need to go home"I told myself

"Okayy"I said in realization.i checked the time,it was 9pm already, what!!I really did sleep for so long.jax was dressed in a comfy shortd with a grey round neck shirt.

"Yes you did...I already ordered your dinner Andi ordered your stylist for a night wear"he said still not looking at me.really??was there something on my face??

"Check the wardrobe, you'd see it and get changed"he said as he got up and walked out.he isn't always this way tho.he would always plead to watch me undress,but he's different now,what's wrong?
"Hmm"I hummed as i stood up to the wardrobe picked the night wear and wore it on
"What!"I exclaimed as I looked at the mirror seeing my myself in a pijamas,not just a pijamas,like a 5 year old pijamas,this is so off and not sexy.please don't tell me Jax licked this,cause I know my stylist wouldn't even dare give me this 5 year old pijamas to wear.
Jax walked in with a large tray of food,I turned to him
"Um Jax,you picked this?"I asked as he placed it on the table.
"Yes"he said as he had his seat,STIll not looking at me, why is he not looking at me
"What,why?you know I don't wear this especially when I'm with you,you know this,it's not sexy,Jax"he cut in

"Um okay"I said as low as I could as I laid down on the bed.that did hurt me.it really did.
