Phoebe's POV

I woke up meeting no Jax beside me except a big shopping bag.i carefully opened it.it was filled with clothes and shoes.i smiled.i walked in his bathroom and took my bath.when I was done,I wore on a bum short together with a crop top.

I walked myself downstairs not meeting Jax

"Where could he b"I said as I lead myself to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.i was gonna be going to work.i needed my phone and was sure mark would have been trying to call me.as I placed the food on the gas,I decided to do the dishes.

"What's up bae"It as jax.he smacked my ass as he greeted and faced me.

"Jax"I warned,he was smiling.he was cute

"What"he asked smirking

"Nothing"I smiled.

"Better"he said

"You changed alot tho"he said

"Hm yeah,you did as well"i smiled

"I'm,baby I need your phone.i need to call Kay to bring my phone and my work clothes as well.thats truee,I didn't tell you what I do"I said as I checked on the food

"Model"he said

"Who told you"I said smiling

"Kay did.he came over earlier this morning to bring your phone and your work clothes.i collected the phone and told him to take the clothes back,so I bought you some nice outfits and shoes.you like them?"he asked not smiling

"Of course I do love them.i'm wearing on one as you can see.but I didn't see the rest"I smiled.

"Hm okay"he said

"Yeah"I said as I moved to the sitting room.he followed me as we both sat on same couch.

"Can I get my phone"I asked as I turned on the TV

"Yeah sure"he said as he handed over the phone to me.

"Who's mark"he asked as I collected the phone.

"He's a friend of mine.we both work at same place.actually he helped me out in getting the job.the guys know him too"I said looking at him.i was surprised

"Hm okay.does he like you?"he asked.how does he even know about mark?did he go through my phone?

"Does he?"he asked again

"He does but I didn't give him chance to express his feelings but we're cool now,just friends,no feelings attached, okay"I assured him

"You're sure?"he asked

"Yes babe, I'm sure"I smiled

"Just wanted to be sure cause I'm jealous"he smirked as he pushed me down on the couch.laying on me.i smiled as I wrapped my hands around his neck.

"It's obvious you are"I said as he stared at me

"Why are you staring at me that way"I asked

"You know, I'd like to go with you to work together.i wanna see mark"he said.i laughed.

"I didn't say anything funny"he asked as he pulled away sitting on the couch,I stood up sitting upright on the couch.

"Okay,let me guess,you wanna check if he's more handsome than you are, right?"I asked

"What?no?that's not true"he said doubtly.i smiled.i moved closer to him and pecked him lightly on the lips and stood up.

"Baby,I know you so well"I said as I walked to the kitchen.

"Whatever"he said,I laughed.

"I think I look good"I said staring at myself at the mirror.i was wearing a tight black long skirt,a white crub top with a laced short kimono jacket, dropping my smooth black stretched short length hair wearing a nice blocked heels on.as soon as I was done,I walked out.

"Jax, I'm late for work already"I said as I got down from the stairs.he looked back from the kitchen

"Fuck"he cursed

"What"I asked as he walked towards me

"You really look good babe"he smiled

"Jax I know,can we go now?"I requested,he smirked

"No,I wanna eat your ass first"he said folding his arms,I slapped my hand to my face.

"Jax, it's no time to get naughty okay, I'm late"I said,he didn't say anything

"Maybe I should call Mark, he'd be here right away"I said as I walked to the door.

"What?no?babe,Phoebe, I'll take you"he rushly said as he ran towards me,I giggled

"That's what I thought"I smiled as we both walked ourselves outside to his car.

"Babe,you cut your hair"he said as he drove

"You're just noticing"I said

"Well,I was busy staring at your ass, boobs and face,damnn,I missed them so much"he smirked,I rolled my eyes.

We reached my work place.

"Let me know who's Frank"he said as we got down

"Mark"I corrected

"I don't give a fuck"he said,I rolled my eyes As we walked in.we met with mark.he was just staring at us

"Phoebe"mark called to me

"Is this mark?"Jax asked

"Yes"I answered.jax giggled silently.what did he mean by that

"Uh, lips,hmm"he said

"Have you guys kissed"Jax whispered to me

"No,God's sake Jax"I answered

"Okay"I said

"My swags are better than yours huh,I got a pink and small lips and sexy as well.i'm taller than you are.i'm sure you know that,and I'm so fucking handsome,don't forget that"Jax smiled.i know he was gonna do this,I just knew.mark just nodded.i faked a smile.

"Um Mark,meet Jax,Jax Bowen"I introduced

"Oh Jax,jax.i think zayn's mentioned his name before,yeah,on your convocation day and um,you called his name in your sleep once while you slept over at my house, remember?,is it same Jax?"he asked

"Um yes"I answered and looked at jax.his looks changed

"Oh nice meeting you Jax"mark greeted as he stretched his hands forward for handshake.it took time before Jax could shake him back.

"Phoebe,I have to go, would see you later"mark said

"Okay"I said then he left.i and Jax left for my office using the elevator.

When we got to my office,he sat on the couch while I moved to my seat as I checked on with my works on ground.i looked at Jax

"Are you okay babe"I asked as he frowned

"I'm fine"he said non-chalantly

"Hm okay"I said as I received a text from Kay.lucy,Zayn and emmanuel were going to be coming over here and yeah,he told me about the party they had yesterday that I and Jax didn't witness.

"Jax,um the guys are coming over soon"I told him,I waited for his reply.he didn't even answer.he laid on the couch backing me.he snubbed me.

After some time.they came in

"Phoebeee,what's up"Zayn greeted as they walked in

"Zayn"I warned as I got up and saw Lucy, she's become more beautiful

"Lucy"I called to her and hugged her

"Missed you phoebe"she said warmly as we pulled away

"And I'm sorry for everything"she apologized

"It's fine, we're cool now"I smiled

"Who's on the couch?"Emmanuel asked

"Who else?if not Jax"Lucy smiled,Zayn was about touching him

"Don't Zayn,let him rest okay"I told him

"Phoebe,my mum said I should give this to you and Jax,since you guys didn't show up last night"she said giving me an ampa

"Aww,tell her thank you"I said as I collected it,she nodded

"Where is mark?"Emmanuel asked

"Busy"I said hurriedly

"Oh,he saw Jax right?"Zayn asked,I nodded yes

"He didn't react,did he?"Lucy asked

"Why should he?"emmanuel asked

"Guys stop okay and how'd you know about mark,Lucy"I asked

"When I got Zayn,why wouldn't I know"she smiled looking at him,I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways, I'm fine and okay"I said looking at Jax, who's not on good terms with me.

Mark walked in.

"Oh,hey guys"he greeted smiling

"Hey, I'm Lucy Bowen, jax's twin"Lucy introduced

"Oh, jax's twin,cool,nice meeting you"they both shoke hands.

"Um Phoebe,we've got meeting at the other branch"he said, damn

"Okayy, I'd be with you outside soon"I told him,he nodded and walked out.

"I have to go guys,take care of my baby for me and as well as my office,tell him where I went okay"I said as I packed stuffs and walked out.i met mark standing in front of his car

"I'm ready"I said

"Okay"he said as we both walked in and he drove off.i didn't bother talking to him, wasn't comfortable and wasn't in the mood.

The meeting went well as expected but we were late and as soon as we were done,mark drove me back.

"Are you ready to go"he asked.it was getting late already

"Yeah"I nodded as we walked to his car and walked in.i checked on my phone for pending messages.i got message from Zayn, emmanuel and Tony.i read tony's first.

*I'll be back soon*we'd be so glad to have him back,I missed him.

*Clark sent his greetings,we video called with him at your office,with Jax as well*emmanuel's message

*How did the meeting go,bestie?.we arranged your office and Jax was madly bored without you,lol.he was frowning all through tho...*I stopped reading,I became worried,I continued to read

*are you guys fighting?cause it seems like you guys are... we've all gone home already,bye,take care of yourself*i was done reading zayn's message.mark stopped driving

"Why'd you stop,is anything Wrong with the car?"I had to ask

"Phoebe,are you upset with me?"I could feel his eyes on me.i couldn't answer

"Do you want us to talk about this?"he asked,I looked at him,I nodded

"What are you worried about huh"he asked,I did answer

"Is it Jax?"he asked

"You're stocked between Jax and I?"he asked as I immediately looked at him.i'm not stocked between mark and Jax.i love Jax, he's mine.

"Phoebe, seriously if anyone should be upset here or sad,it should be me"he said sternly

"What"I said

"If it wasn't for tony who told me about Jax Before he left.i would have never know Jax is your boyfriend.you didn't tell me about Jax at all and because of him,you didn't even give me the chance to express my feelings at all, right? isn't that the reason?"he asked,I got sad

"That did hurt my feelings badly,you know I did have feelings for you but you wouldn't tell me things about how you feel about it.little did you know,I knew about you being asthmatic,Zayn told me"I was shocked

"Phoebe,I still love you but I will never chirp into you and jax's relationship,never, you guys seem.so perfect.i understand you passed alot cause of him,he did too.you endured,you waited for so long,you didn't give up on him,you didn't belong to someone else aside Jax"he smiled.

"You proved to be a strong woman,well you are anyway...Jax didn't let you go either,you are made for each other"he said.i could see in his eyes he was hurt, really hurt

"I just want to be this pretty girl's friend huh, what's your say"he asked smiling as tears rolled down on from his eyes.i nodded yes and hugged him immediately

"I'm so sorry mark"I apologized as tears flowed.

"I'm really sorry"I added,he hugged me tight

*I want you beside me*I received a message from Jax as I ate dinner with mum and dad, really??

"Dad,mumI'd be going to jax's house tonight, soon"I said

"Cool,then spend the weekend with him,it been long Phoebe"dad said

"Yes,I support"mum said

"Hm okay"I said.i loved that idea.

As soon as I got to jax's house,I took my bag to the room he first took me when be brought me here the first time.then I walked to the front of his room, getting nervous to knock.i gently opened the door meeting him lag in his bed,he was asleep already?I gently walked towards, Laying beside him as I placed my head on his outstretched arm, placing one of my arm on his chest.i looked at him for some time before turning my glance away from him.i sobbed silently.we really were made for each other.remembering what mark said.

I felt his hand move on me as he drew me closer to his chest.

"Phoebe"he called to me.i stopped sobbing

"Where you crying?"he asked looking at me

"No"I lied

"Are you mad at me?"I asked

"I was,not anymore"he answered

"Why"I asked,then he got up and sat upright,I did the same.

"Because you slept over at Mark's house,I hated when he said that"he frowned

"It wasn't because if him I was there.cause of his mum,she had problems with drinking, cause she lost her husband.i was always there to be with her and console her and made her feel well and better again.she's all fine now,do you understand?"I asked calmly,he stared at me

"Sorry for not speaking to you,don't be mad"he apologized.i moved closer to him, wrapped my hands around one arm, placing my head on his shoulder.

"I'm not mad at you"I said

"I love you"he said as he pecked me on my hands wrapping me around him.
