AFTER 2 YEARS

JAX BOWEN'S POV

"it feels good to be back home Jax"Lucy said smiling as we got down from our private jet

"Yeah,I can't wait to see my mum and the guys and damn my babe,I fucking miss her"I smiled

"Have you messaged Zayn?"Lucy asked

"About to"I said

"I think everyone should be there aside Phoebe.you should see her separately,what do you think?"Lucy suggested.

"Nice idea"I gave her a thumps up.

"The birthday messages are too much,don't know where to start"she said smiling

*Zayn bro,all of you including Phoebe's family should meet up at my mum's house, please don't panic cause I'm back home*I sent message to Zayn as we entered my new car and drove off.

"Don't panic Lucy"I told her as we both got down from the car at mum's house ,she nodded as we reached the door step,we breathe in and out before walking in.

"Jaxson?lucyana?"mum called on us with tears in her eyes meeting everyone except Phoebe, Samuel and Tony

"Mum"I called to her as I went to hug her

"Lucy? you're alive?"Zayn said surprisely

"Yes I am"she answered as she went over to hug him.we hugged each other warmly.it was soooo good to be back home

"Missed you home"Lucy said hugging mum so tightly as I hugged Phoebe's mum

"We missed you guys so much"Phoebe's dad said

"We did as well"I said

"So what exactly happened"emmanuel asked

"When we got there.ao fortunate for us.there was a liver bank available,so that's what he used"Lucy said

"Wow!this is a miracle"mum said overwhelmingly

"This calls for massive celebration"Zayn said joyfully

"Um, where's Phoebe"I asked

"At the beach.she wanted to be alone"Kay answered

"Oh okay"I said sadly.i'm sorry I stayed longer than expected Phoebe,I miss you.

PHOEBE'S POV

It's been 2 years now since Jax left and he isn't back.tony went for military service.samuel travelled abroad for his law school, emmanuel is here as a journalist,Zayn is also pursuing his music career which is going on so well and I'm here as an high class model.All this without Jax still not here.

"It hurts so much that you're not here"I cried.

"It's just too much to take in"I said

"I'm hurt, I'm heartbroken, I'm so so down"I cried.

"I'm here"someone said and it kept echoing back to my ears,me wondering who that was.i gently stood up and was afraid to turn back.jax's always the one saying that.i gently turn back only for me to see my Superman.

"Jax?"I called to him.i was shocked and Happy and sad,i got mixed feelings .he walked closer to me and hugged me tightly, turning me to the other side as the wave of the water hit/poured on us.didnt know he wanted to guard me from the wave.we still were hugging.i missed our body touching.i felt needed again,I felt loved again,I felt wanted again.i just wanted to kiss him and tell him how much I missed and loved him.this cold just hit me,damn,I felt numb as I shiver.we both were wet.i didn't know when he carried me in bridal style as he walked away to his unfamiliar (new) car.

"Jax"I called to him silently as I buried my head on his chest inhaling him,I fucking miss him so much.he gently placed me in the front seat of his car,he entered and drove off.i gently scrutinized through him.he really has changed,he was more handsome.he didn't even glance at me for a sec or utter a word.

So what now? I'm irritating to him now? I'm no longer attractive?he doesn't like me anymore?does he have another girl in his life? who even told him where I was? why'd he come find me when he knows he'd behave this way.i knew this was gonna end this way.he was gonna forget me when I couldn't.i faced the window and cried silently.

After the long drive.we reached a house that was obvious unknown to me.it was huge and beautiful.

He carried bridal style into the house, through the stairs to a room,a nice furnitured room.placing me on the bed gently and walked out.

What does he expect me to do?why did he even bring me here?

"Change into this"he commanded sternly as he walked in and dumped some clothes on the bed and walked out.

"Hmm"I hummed as I picked the clothes and checked through it.i took a shower before changing into the clothes and as soon as I was done,Jax walked in.he looked angry,what again?

"Hm"I was about to talk

"What the fuck were you looking for at the beach"he yelled,he was back at it again.sighs.

"You know your condition Phoebe,and you're being so careless"he said.yeah, coming from you.

"Just shut yourself"he said and walked out angrily.i just laid on the bed quietly.his first day of returning home and the first thing he could do is yell at me,that's so very nice yuuno.

I woke up meeting myself in same position I slept.i looked at the time,if was past 8.i needed to go back home.i needed to be out of here but I wasn't with my phone.

I just got up from the bed,walked myself out of the room, looking for Jax to lend his phone.i walked downstairs meeting Jax at the bar table making a call.i gently walked towards him.he glanced at me still making his call.

"Alright I'll call you back"he said and hung up,then looked at me.waiting for me to talk.sighs.i just changed my mind.i stopped when he called my name as I turn to go back to the room he kept me

"Do you need anything?"he asked

"No, I'm fine"I answered and walked through the stairs back to the room sitting on the bed, resting my back on the bed bunk.

Jax walked in with a tray of food.

"I thought you must be hungry,so I bought food"he said as he sat beside me

"I'm not hungry"I said not gonna looking at him.

"Oh okay"he sad disappointedly as he dropped the tray on the side table.he sighed.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you,i was just upset I met you that way"he apologized,I didn't say anything

"You don't wanna talk to me?you want me to leave?"he asked

"Yes"I just found myself saying

"Okay"he said as he gently got up and walked out.i buried my face on the pillow and just let it out.

After some time.i felt lonely.i wasn't feeling sleepy.it was already midnight,I needed company,I needed jax.i got up from the bed in search of Jax, moving from room to room till I saw him

"Jax"I called as I knocked on his door.he opened as I stared up at him.it doesn't look like he slept

"Um,I can't sleep,I need you"I can't believe my saying this either

"I wanna stay with you"I added

"Okay"he said then let me in as I laid on his bed backing him.i wanted to talk things out,I missed him alot.when I turned to him,he wasn't on the bed,he was on the reading table,I sat up on the bed.i needed his attention badly.

"Jax,did you miss me?"I asked, he looked at me,then he got up,walked to me sitting closly beside me on the bed

"More than you could ever imagine,I missed you so so much"he said warmly

"So why didn't you come back"I asked

"2 years isn't a joke Jax"I told him

"I'll tell you everything"he said,I nodded

"When we got there,the operation was carried out on me,Lucy didn't drop,there was a liver bank available"he said.wow, lucky her.

"While I was still at the hospital recovering after my surgery.lucy was meeting up with a man,a very wealthy man.lucy assisted him so well at work and when he needed help in other things.he began to like her and was interested in helping her out in every way.when I got out of hospital,Lucy and I were with him"he said

"Is he married?"I asked

"He's divorced without a child"he answered

"We told him all that happened and then he wanted us to finish college there.we addressed him as dad.thats what he wanted.we convocated so well and wanted to come back but he didn't let us"he said

"Why"I asked

"He wanted to hand over his company to us.he made me the ceo of all his companies and made us his children,I didn't know,I wasn't expecting it,it just came and I accepted it"he said,I was happy for him

"What company"I asked

"Hughes Oil Company"he answered,Hughes Oil Company??that's one of the richest oil company so far.richard Hughes is the owner,wow.

"Hughes Richard "I asked,he nodded

"He's been officially my dad now.he wanted us to change our surnames but mum needed to know all this first.just yesterday he marked his 45th birthday and made it known to everyone who we were to him.so he decided we should come home today, he'd join us soon as well"he said and paused.i'm happy for him.he's got a good dad he's always wanted.

"I didn't just decide not to come back babe.i hope you understand.i love you so much Phoebe"he said

"I thought you forgot about me"I said sadly

"No,no,I can never do that.i didn't forget you Phoebe,not even for a second.i always thought about you everyday.i'm with you now."he said
