Chapter 81: Chapter 81
Nadia woke up the following morning and found herself peering into dark grey eyes.
"Good morning, my love," she whispered. "How long have you been awake?"
"Not long," he said. His voice was low and husky. Nadia raised her hand to cup his chin and leaned in to coax his lips open to draw in his upper lip. She moaned when she felt Angel wrap his arms around her, lean backward to rest his back on the bed, taking her with him, he cupped her butt cheeks with his hands, opening her wide as he gently stroked her vulva then slipped a finger into her.
"Angel!" Nadia moaned.
"I've been waiting for you to wake up," Angel rasped.
"Oh!" she gasped as he lifted her up, positioned her to receive him and then lowered her onto him. He groaned loudly, tilting his head back on the pillow with sheer pleasure as she took him in. She felt wet, tight and sweet.
"Angel!" She groaned. He cupped her hips and urged her forward. Nadia shook atop him and started to buck against him. They both moaned.
She rode him slow and then fast, causing him to moan her name repeatedly. When he couldn't take the torture anymore, he turned with her in his arms, making her lay on the bed. He gripped and held her wrists above her head, holding them in a tight grip with one hand, he framed her hips with the other and drove hard into her, pushing deep and fast. When Nadia parted her lips to moan out loud, he covered her mouth with his, muffling the sound.
Nadia spasmed atop the bed. Angel felt somewhat possessed, wanting to stroke and hit every bundle of nerves inside her, he took her hard and rough. Swallowing her cries, he truly possessed her. Her vagina walls clenched and gripped his cock, milking and driving him nearly insane. He whispered her name like a fervent prayer, confessing his love over and over again. He couldn't tell if the strong swell of need inside him was a result of the fear of what was in store for them. But he needed her to know and feel that he was hers in totality.
When he was done with her and left her there on the bed feeling shaky, Nadia muttered to herself, "Oh, dear God." Her chest heaved and a slow contented smile stretched her lips, and she moaned as she moved lazily on the bed.
Angel joined the others in Cole Miller's office and was glad they hadn't started discussing before he got there. One of the Omegas on kitchen duty handed him a breakfast tray laden with a cup of coffee, pancakes, sausages, bacon and eggs. He nodded his thanks.
"My wife hasn't taken breakfast…" he said.
"Amelie and Isabelle promised to take care of her, don't worry," Xavier replied. Angel nodded and settled down to eat.
"Okay, so, l thought hard about this plan I'm about to sell to you guys. And since I know we work well together. I say we accept Angel's request," Cole said.
"Request? That we abandon him?" Darrow asked, puzzled.
"I doubt that is your plan…." Xavier said, sitting up from his seat behind Cole's desk.
"In a way…" Cole said.
"That's a no for me… you know in case we are voting on it," Wulfrun grumbled. Walking to a side cabinet to pour himself some brandy.
"Wait, you don't drink!" Cole said, gaping at Wulfrun.
"Thanks to you, I do now!" he growled, glowering at him. Cole stared back with mouth agape. Angel chuckled.
"Okay, what's going on?" Jason asked.
"Cole deliberately hooked us up with human females at the resort. Evidently, Wulfrun bit more than he could chew," Hallec said everyone busted out laughing.
"You've got a mouth on you," Wulfrun said, directing a glare at Hallec and then throwing Xavier a glance, he added, "you should control your beta, he forgets himself."
"Fuck that," Xavier said, dismissively. "In here, we are simply men. When he truly gets out of line, I will caution him," Xavier added. Hallec grinned, causing Wulfrun to glare at the two. He then gulped down a quarter of the alcohol.
"Okay… " Cole said as he took the bottle from the alpha were, giving him a concerned frown then ushered him to a side seat. "As I was saying, I thought it was a good idea that we don't let those fuckers go to the island. We have made tremendous changes to the place. So much so, that Isabelle wants us to have our wedding reception there. I will be fucking peeved if anybody messes that up," Cole said.
"What's the plan?" Angel asked.
"Thank you. First, I want the children out of the tents outside. Even I can feel the novelty is wearing off. I want them taken to another property I just bought at the border of this one. It’s about two kilometres away."
"Two kilometres? What are you doing with so much land?" Darrow asked in fascination.
"Um …. Privacy? I don't want neighbours," Cole replied as if it was a normal disposition. Darrow frowned at him.
"Isabelle and I had gone to check the place out. It used to be an orphanage run by a couple. I think the owners were doing some paedo shit and the place was shut down and taken from them. It was burnt actually by one of the kids, but it is still sturdy. I was thinking of demolishing the place but we could fix it up and let the kids stay there till the island is ready and this Angel's issue is contained."
"And it's big enough to take everybody?" Wulfrun asked.
"It would be. The land is about five hectares. We can have modern homes brought in and coupled to accommodate adults." Cole replied.
"Can you get a refund for these movable homes once we are done with them?" Xavier asked. Cole smiled at him.
"Yes, old man we can," Cole replied.
"I don't know, Cole, this is you spending more money, " Xavier grumbled, running his fingers through his hair.
"It also keeps our family safe, Xavier," Cole replied. Xavier sighed.
"I'm going to need you to give me a copy of how much this whole thing is going to cost you. I have to pay you back."
"We have to pay you back," Angel amended. Xavier gave him a grateful nod.
"Yeah, what he said," Wulfrun added.
"No worries, guys, I will," Cole replied, "Now, to the fun part," Cole rubbed his hands in anticipation. "Since we don't want to let them know we have a safe home anywhere outside the United States, we need to get our assess back home. But not to the island, remember the island is now supposedly bought and taken over by a winery. Weres are not supposed to be there. We are going to take advantage of that to throw them off."
"How?" Darrow asked
"Simple, we just make sure Ash's people throw in some careless talk here and there. Hammering it in that the management wishes to move their people in to start production soonest and need the job done fast. Ash is already on that. And I am guessing those fuckers would do their findings to see what and who is on the island. This would now bring us to the question of where the supposed werewolves are keeping Nadia." Jason chuckled.
"Now I understand what you meant by accepting Angel's request," Jason said.
"So, where are we luring them to?" Angel asked. Cole grinned. Xavier groaned. Everyone else laughed.
"Relax Xavier. I'm not spending money this time," Cole said.
"Heavens be praised!" Xavier said, gesturing.
"I discovered there's an abandoned park close to the island… " Cole said. Xavier stood up, and Hallec shifted on his feet. Angel glanced from one to the other, noting the tension building in the room. "I'm sure you know where am talking about Xavier, Hallec?"
"Yeah, that's the park we were ambushed by Alexander's men…." Hallec said.
"I almost lost Isabelle… Amelie's father and three of my pack members died there. Hallec and I barely made it too," Xavier said in a barely audible tone. His eyes carried a faraway look as if he was reliving the horror.
"She told me… I'm sorry, man," Cole said.
"It's okay, Cole, you had no hand in it. And yeah, that would be a good place… " Xavier mumbled, nodding. "It's far from town. "
"How are we going to make seem believable that we live there?" Darrow asked.
"I was thinking we could reuse the tents we used here …"
"Wouldn't that like make us a kind of a sitting duck?" Wulfrun asked.
"We will not be doing any kind of sleeping, Wulfrun!" Xavier replied in exasperation. "Put that drink down!" he snapped.
"No!" Wulfrun said. When Xavier moved he gingerly placed it on the table by his chair. Xavier glowered at him.
"You need to lighten up, brother," Wulfrun mumbled.
"We can sleep atop the trees if we have to,' Angel supplied, trying to diffuse the tension.
"Yes, the tents will serve as decoys," Jason added.
"We will also need to choose the Weres that would stay here with the children as security. And the ones to follow us back. We kind of need Ash with us but just like he did before, he can have some of his men serve as security guards here. But we also need some Weres amongst them. I told you guys. I don't completely trust people, I have to pay to do something," Cole said.
"I will take care of that… is there any alphas that would like to stay with the pubs?" Xavier asked.
"Wait what?! And miss out on all the fun of killing humans! Are you for real with that question, Xavier!" Darrow asked. When Xavier directed his gaze at Wulfrun the other Alpha glared at him.
"It's a no for me," he grunted.
"Hallec can stay he is always in charge of the running anyways," Darrow said.
"Hallec is supervising the works on the island, being in the vicinity is kind of convenient," Cole added.
"Are the women coming?"
"Since Nadia is involved and coming with us, I am certain Isabelle, Tiana, Opaline, and the doc would want to come," Jason said.
"Yeah, Isabelle is coming," Cole said in resignation.
"You tried, huh?" Xavier said with a grin.
"She threatened to burn the house down. She is kind of hormonal these days it's almost as if she is …" Cole paused and his eyes widened.
"What?" Xavier asked.
"Where is doc?"
"In the medical room. Why?" Xavier asked with a narrow gaze.
"Uh… nothing. So we all agree on the plan?"
"It sounds like the best we've got so far," Jason said.
"When do we move?" Angel asked.
"Hallec?" Cole said.
"On it. Alpha?" Hallec said, waiting for Xavier's go-ahead.
"Yeah, do whatever you can and let's make it fast so we can start moving them," Xavier replied. Hallec nodded and left.
"What do you want the rest of us to do?"Angel asked.
"We will all help Hallec. Let's give him a head start though," Cole said to Angel.
"Alright then," Angel replied.
"I don't want Amelie roughening it in the woods. The baby is due anytime now and I want her as comfortable as possible, plus she wants to have the baby on the island…"
"What plan does she have for the birth?" Cole asked.
"Opaline is the pack's healer and has served as a midwife for years…."
"You sound reserved," Angel said.
"Yes, Angel. You will be too if you were in my shoes. Amelie is human. Opaline has only helped she-wolves deliver," Xavier said, sounding frustrated.
"Would you like me to make plans regarding that?"
"In this, I will appreciate any help I can get for Amelie, Cole. I want her and my child alive and healthy by the time this is over."
"Then leave it to me," Cole said. "Have you made up your mind on the best surnames to use for the passports, Angel? It's kind of urgent now. "
"Yeah," Angel replied and directed his gaze to hold Xavier's. He then got up, walked to the large desk and picked out a pen from a pen holder and Xavier handed him a jotting pad. He leaned over the desk and wrote out his name then Nadia's before writing the names of the other Weres that escaped with him. He then added Xavier as his surname, Angel Xavier as Nadia's surname, and then wrote Xavier as the surname for the rest of the Weres. When he straightened his spine to hand the paper to Cole, the two were studying him.
"This I will accept," Cole said. Xavier swallowed.
"I'm quite honoured..." Xavier said, sounding choked up with emotions.
"You are my blood, and for the rest of my friends, you are their alpha. The man who gave them a new lease on life. It is only logical, alpha Xavier," Angel said. Xavier left the back of the desk to jerk him into a hug. The two gave each other a pat on the back.
