Chapter 38: Chapter 38
“I was scared, Angel, when they took you away…” Nadia whispered back, feeling him pull out her top from the band of her trousers and reached under to free her breasts and cupped them in his large hands. Nadia let out a soundless gasp.
“I am here now,” he replied. His voice was deep and husky. He undid the button of her jeans and pulled down the zipper. Nadia moaned as he fuddled one of her breasts and used the other to pull down her jeans while he was literally wrapped around her.
“Angel…” she called, sounding breathless.
Angel knelt behind her to help her pull off her jeans and panties. He then stood up, gripped her by the hips and made her bend over. Nadia panted as he parted her legs and stroked the opening of her pussy with the tip of his cock to test if she was wet for him before slipping into her. Nadia moaned his name.
“Forgive me,” Angel said and that was the only warning she got before he started to slam hard into her, forcing her to reach for the tree for support. An act which she found useless because he lifted her up from the ground while he pounded into her hard and fast. Nadia felt her head exploding with shimmerings of pleasure. The only thing she could do was shut her eyes and let him take her surfing blissfulness. Their coupling was intense and consuming and she let it consume her.
Angel hated that he had to lie to her. That was why he asked her to forgive him. He wanted to let her know she was his mate and, as a result, could fasten his healing, but he wasn’t quite sure how she would take it. And frankly, he didn’t think she was ready for that. A voice reminded him she had just shot two people to protect him, but he wielded the thought off.
Panting hard, he felt his body regenerating and his guilt intensified. He allowed the pleasure surging through him to dispel the emotion and focused only on the sound she made, letting it drown him.
“Nadie,” he whispered, sounding dazed with ecstasy. “You feel so good.”
“Angel!” Nadia cried, equally lost.
Afterwards, he lowered himself to sit on the grass and made her straddle him, holding her against his chest. Nadia pressed against him, enjoying the feel of him. She had been on edge all day, worrying about him and thinking of the viable reason she could give her uncle for wanting to send her Nana back home. And hearing Daniel was back just plain made her anxiety worse. She was glad she had been able to help Angel and hoped he would come up with a plan to get away soon before Daniel or Mathew do something really bad to him.
“You have to get away from here,” she whispered.
Angel raised his hand to cup her chin and made her tilt her face up to meet his kiss. He peered into her eyes and said, “I am okay, Nadie, don’t worry about me.”
“Angel…”
“Please, listen to me… It is going to be fine,” he reassured. Nadia nodded hesitantly.
“Remember Alexander Miller’s house?”
“Yes…”
“I would like to go there and see if we can get any form of protection in case we need to run for it,” Angel lied.
“Protection?”
“Ammunition… I don’t see us leaving peacefully.”
“You can’t do it alone though,” Nadia said sounding concerned.
“I will take one of the guys…”
“No, take me instead…I can be a great cover.”
“How, Nadie? It would be dangerous.”
“If we get caught. You can say you came to rescue me. We can come up with just about anything to get out of it. Now, if you are caught with some other Were, they will assume you were trying to escape and hurt you. Take me, Angel. I promise, it would be far better,” Nadia urged. Angel held her gaze for about a minute and then nodded.
“Okay, then, but you need to go now. So I can sort out the guards,” Angel said.
“Angel…” she started to protest but he framed her face and kissed her.
“You need to get back to your room, so nobody can guess you helped. Please, baby, I need you safe,” Angel said with feeling. Nadia slowly nodded.
“Okay.”
“I will call you to come back to me when I am ready to go over to Alexander Miller’s place.”
“Promise?”
“I promise,” Angel said and smiled at her. She kissed him.
He quickly helped her to wear her jeans back and she rearranged her top. Angel carried her and took her very close to the main house, skittering in the woods until he got her to the garden by the house. Then he placed her down and immediately disappeared into the woods.
Going back to the pit, he saw that the other Weres had left the unconscious guards in plain sight for the other guards to see. He lifted the two and placed them one by one on his shoulders and took them to the infirmary, leaving them by the entrance.
A few minutes later, he climbed down the ladder that led into the pit, but this time, he was more vigilant. The other Weres stood up from their beds when he jumped in.
“Thank God you are alright!” Blaze said when he saw him.
“Miss Nadia?” Kurt asked, sounding concerned.
“Took her back to the house, Kurt, thank you, She is safe,” Angel replied. Kurt held out both Daniel’s blade and Nadia’s gun to him. He took it and nodded his thanks.
“We asked about the others, but Blaze here wanted us to wait till you got back,” one of the weres asked. Angel sighed.
"Where are the others, Angel?" Kurt asked with apprehension. Angel took a glance at Blaze who was grinning.
“What?! I thought it would be more fun to tell them together!” the other Were said. Angel chuckled.
"They are in the frosty island, guys” Angel said, walking down to his cell.
"Dead?" Kurt asked.
"Free…" Blaze answered with a triumphant smirk.
"He is real then?" another Were asked. Angel nodded, knowing he meant Xavier.
"He killed all of Antonio Rufus's guards. We barely made it out alive," Angel said with pride.
"He is Angel's kin," Blaze supplied. The others gasped except for Kurt who knew Angel was Wulfblood.
"Will he come for the rest of us?" Kurt asked.
"Yes, I believe so," Angel said. The Weres let out a sigh of relief.
"He killed everybody?" Kurt asked with a wide smile. His eyes shone with pride.
"Blew the last fucking boat off too with Antonio Rufus and us in it," Angel replied. They all laughed.
"Freki got his wish after all…" one of the Weres said wistfully.
"Yeah, but he is going to hurt like hell in the next couple of days…" Angel replied.
"Why?" Kurt asked with keen interest. The others listened with vast anticipation.
"He faced off with the white wolf. You should have seen how he used him as a basketball. I wished I recorded that," Blaze said, laughing. "When I see him again, I'm going to tease him about it till he dies!" The others laughed.
