As I lay before you

Elle's POV

Like I have promised I returned to Earth before Elijah was awake. It was past two am and everyone was asleep. I snuck in hoping that I would not wake up anyone and walked towards my bedroom. I saw Elijah that was sleeping peacefully like an angel. He was so handsome and I felt so lucky to have him by my side. I rushed into the bathroom to take a quick shower then tucked myself in bed next to him.

It was ten am and I was still fast asleep, but a sudden movement shook me from my sleep. Elijah was trying to stand up slowly to go to the bathroom, avoiding to wake me up. I stretched myself and opened my eyes.

"Good morning sweety. I tried not to wake you, but I guess I was not gentle enough," He said whilst pushing himself up. I shook my head and smiled.

"That's fine, it was time for me to wake up anyway," I said, rolling myself to his side.

"Kiss me," he commanded.

I looked up at him and smiled, then I leaned forwards and kissed him gently on the lips.

"I have missed you so much."

I hugged him softly, knowing that he was still feeling pain coming from his wound.

"Let's check what's under your bandage, shall we?" I said as I sat up and reached for his bandage.

It was still there but much smaller then it was the day before. That meant that his body was healing well and soon he will be strong again.

I kissed him gently on the wound before covering it up again for him. Suddenly I could see his skin was acting weirdly around the wound. He started groaning with instant pain. What was happening? Was it my fault? He grabbed hold of my arm and squeezed it to avoid screaming. I didn't know what to do. The wound was closing up right in front of me in a fast manner. My eyes widened with surprise and I looked up at Elijah still stunned, not knowing what I did to cause all this. The wound was all gone in an instant. Not even a scar was visible and the pain he was in was now gone. He felt breathless and shocked as he looked down at the now healed area.

"What has just happened?" He asked awestruck.

As I stared into his eyes, he pushed me down on the bed and got himself on top of me, then grabbed my shirt and ripped it in pieces exposing my breasts.

"You must have healed me with that kiss," he said kissing my neck.

"Do you think so?" I asked through a moan that escaped my lips, feeling his tongue against my n****e.

He put one arm under my arched back and pulled me up. "You know what this means? We can heal each other. We are united as one".

I looked at him with a surprised look and I didn't realise that I parted my lips. He took the opportunity to dig deep into my throat with his tongue. I felt shivers down my spine as with his fingers he touched it gently, moving down slowly till he reached my butt. He gently put me back down resting on the bed and slowly removed my pants as he looked at me with a seductive look.

"I love you," he said as he started to explore my whole naked body with his eyes.

Just watching him look at me like that made my heart beat faster than it already was. He licked down my left thigh and then he reached my sensitive part. I could see that he was in ecstasy and I was feeling the same. A moan escaped me and I felt tingles everywhere. I let him do with me what he pleased as I sunk my nails deep in my bed. I felt breathless and suddenly I could feel myself almost exploding. He stopped and came back up to kiss my neck.

I suddenly felt his teeth sinking into my skin and yelped with pain. A few seconds later I was in a fit and lost consciousness.

Elijah's POV

I stood up feeling shocked by what I have done. "No, No, no what is this? Oh no. I am so sorry Elle. I don't know what came through me."

Shivering, I tried to hold her wound, attempting to stop the blood. My body went numb as I imagined a lot of things that could go wrong in my head. What I did, was something I never heard about. So I didn't know how to fix this. All I could do was to wait for her to get her conscience back.

Mei's POV

As I gained back my conscience, I looked at Elijah with a shocked expression. A sudden rush of pain made my body shiver and crouched trying to hold myself from screaming. I yelped and I shook like a fish that jas just come out of the water. I tried to breathe in and out but I suddenly felt myself drifting away once again.

Elijah's POV

My body was shaking with fear. What have I done to her? I couldn't control what I was doing and this was something I never thought was possible. As she looked at me with those agony looking eyes I couldn't bear to look at her. What has come over me? What will become of her? She is showing signs of transition.

Her skin was shining like the twilight guy when his skin was exposed in the sunlight. Before she passed out I saw her Blue eyes change colour into a turquoise shade.

I wondered if what has just happened was a new ability that no one ever received before. As I waited for her to wake, I was thinking about what I said right before I bit her, that we could heal each other. It wasn't me talking. It was something that took over my body. I placed my lips over the wound and kissed her. Surely the wound was healing but still, she was not waking and her body felt cold. I dressed her back into her pyjamas and lifted her like a bride and took her to my sister hoping she could figure out what happened.

Belle was sitting down on the bed feeding my nephews. Jean was in the bathroom taking a shower and I was standing in the middle of the door with Elle lying unconscious in my hands like a piece of meat. Belle looked at the scene in front of her and instantly she stood up and placed the babies gently back inside the crib, tucking her b***s back in her shirt. She stood up from the bed and rushed towards me as she held Elle's head.

"Lay her on the bed," She snapped, "and explain what happened," She continued as she opened one of Elle's eyes to inspect.

She gasped as soon as she realised that her eyes changed colour and walked a few steps back hitting the wardrobe. She looked at me and saw my bloody teeth.

"What have you done?! Elijah? What is all this?" She screamed out.

I couldn't speak. I was finding no words to explain myself. I mumbled something from underneath my breath and felt like I was going to faint. I tried holding myself steady but I fell to my knees. Jean heard the commotion in the room and rushed out with just a towel covering his hips and legs.

"What's going on?" He asked, curving his eyebrows.

He stood there observing everyone in the room and then realised that we were in deep s**t. From then on I couldn't remember what was happening. I felt my body numb and fell to the floor.

Elle's POV

I woke up finding myself in a white room. Next to me, I saw Elijah laying down unconscious. I felt dizzy as I tried to get up, so I held my hand on my forehead feeling the thumping in the brain. I went down to see myself in the mirror opposite the bed and I couldn't recognise myself. My eyes changed colour, my hair turned white, my skin was whiter than before. Where was I, and what was happening to me?

I remembered that Elijah was unconscious in the bed next to me. I darted towards him and tried to shake him up as I felt myself panic. He didn't even flinch. What is happening to him? I opened his eyelids and noticed his eyes were not the usual colour anymore, but they now matched with mine. What was going on? I looked around hoping to find help and I spotted the exit door. I tried to open it but as soon as I put my hand around the doorknob someone else pushed it open.
