Chapter 16: Chapter 16
Jupiter
Elle's POV
Weeks passed since we got the three big news's and it was the day of Belle and Jean's wedding. I was trembling with excitement as I was the first to go. I wore a loose light pink top with black leather trousers and a pair of flat sandles. I had a basket full of petals as I slowly walked down the path throwing a bunch of them with every step until I reached the altar. Then I moved to my seat next to Elijah that was wearing black leather trousers and a white shirt. The crowd waited for Belle to arrive. She started walking down the path wearing a light blue dress that softly touched her skin. She arrived to the altar and Jean joined her. The ceremony was held exactly as Belle explained to me but I couldn't watch as the host cut open their hands.
"I Belle, will accept you as my husband and will be loyal till death. I will bare the fruit of our love and with pride I will take care of our family and home."
"I Jean will accept you Belle as my wife. I will be loyal to you and our family always and love you forever till death. They joined hands together as a symbol of their union.
"You may kiss your wife," The host announced as hands clapped ferociously from the small crowd.
It was one late afternoon. I was alone on the bed reading to pass the time sipping a glass of red wine that I brought when I hast visited earth. Elijah came in all sweaty after hours of training and leaned on me for a kiss.
"Qeeww you are so sweaty," I teased as I scrunched my face and pushed him lightly away from me, "Go take a shower."
He laughed and moved in closer to make me smell his stinch, "You tease, go take a shower," I said laughing.
When he got out clean and fresh from the shower he sat down next to me and kissed my cheek.
"Would you like to go for an adventure tomorrow?" He asked.
"Do you have a plan?" I asked back as I closed the book to look at Elijah.
"Well, yeah. I do have a plan, and I think that you are going to like it," he said with a smile.
I waited for him to continue as I gazed at him.
"Aren't you going to ask me what my plan is?" He asked me trying to prolong the answer.
I knew that he was teasing as he knew that I get curious but this time I didn't feel like getting defeated.
"No," I lied as I shrugged my shoulder and made a serious face that unfortunately I couldn't keep for long because he just pouted his lips and made puppy eyes.
"Fine," I said laughing, "yes I do want to know where you want to take me this time," I continued.
He smiled from ear to ear and just said "Jupiter."
I could not believe it. I never thought that I could go there.
"That's crazy. As far as I know Jupiter is a mass of gasses so how can we get on it?"
He lifted an eyebrow as he didn't expect me to know that.
"Wow, I didn't expect that answer. We get onto one of its moons. The view from there is amazing I assure you."
I smiled at the thought.
"I studied some of the planets at school. That is how I know," I told him before allowing him to ask.
"How does school know about it? And who is school?" He then asked.
I burst out laughing.
"Oh you, that is so funny," I exclaimed.
"School is a place of learning. Back on earth us humans are sent to school from a very young age and we have to learn a lot of different subjects such as languages, maths, science. During science we learn also about planets," I explained, raising my eyebrow, grinning.
"We do not have schools here. We have what we call it teachings. The subject are mostly about war and nature and surviving. We do not learn how to read or write. We just learn life saving skills," he explained to me.
"Hmm.. Maybe I should become your first teacher to teach you how to read and write," I said with a smile.
"Or you should just lay with me in bed and cuddle together till we fall asleep," he suggested, yawning at the thought.
"Good idea," I agreed, standing up from the kitchen chair.
It was early in the morning when I felt Elijah shifting in the bed, shaking me from my sleep. I was the first to wake up so I went downstairs to start preparing for breakfast. I was super excited to know that we were traveling again. I sat down as I waited for Elijah to join me as I sipped some water. He came down a few minutes later still half asleep, rubbing his eyes with his index fingers.
"Morning," I told him as I laid the plate in front of him as he sat down.
He stretched himself for a ling while before nodding and replied back.
"Good morning my love," he said in his deep morning voice.
I took a shower after I finished from my breakfast and whilst Elijah washed the dishes, I ran upstairs to take a shower and get ready.
I was super excited to go onto a moon. I ran back down the stairs and packed some lunch for us both whilst Elijah took his turn to shower. It only took him ten minutes to come back down.
"Ready?" he asked.
"As ready as I can be. Lets go," I said jumping out of the chair as I headed towards the exit.
We went into the woods trying to find a Zarogian tree, then as we found one we stopped right in front of it.
"I am super excited," I told Elijah. "I can only imagine how beautiful it is!" I continued.
"Are you ready Elle? Hold tightly," he looked straight at me grinning.
We held hands and stepped foot into the Zarogian tree as we felt a push.
"Hold tightly," he grinned, looking at me.
When I opened my eyes I see Elijah sitting next to me. I must have taken my time to wake up from the knock out.
"Are we on the Jupiter moon?" I asked as I looked around.
Everything was grey and it didn't seem like there was anyone except for us two. I have also noticed that there was no tree but a large stone that shone light from its bottom part.
"We are," he confirmed smiling, helping me up.
Then I noticed he was wearing sort of a mask and was wearing different shoes then the one he had before, like heavy boots. Looking down at myself I had the same heavy boots and as I felt my face I noticed I eas wearing a mask too. The shoes I had before were next to me on the ground.
"Did you wear these on me? What are these for?" I asked him.
"Mhm. I thought I should get you ready. The mask is for oxygen and the heavy boots is to keep you on the ground. There is almost no gravity here," he explained.
We started walking for a bit, then we spotted the tip part of Jupiter. It was huge and the further we walked the more it was getting exposed. I gasped as I saw how beautiful it was. It had brown and orange colours that twirled around it.
"Breath-taking," I breathed, holding onto Elijah.
We spent hours staring at the view in front of us, quietly sitting down as I laid my head on Elijah's shoulders, observing every detail.
"It is like a large painting being drawn in the air," I said.
"If only I had a camera with me I would send a picture to my dad," I continued.
"Oh, I am sure he would have been dumbfound. It would definitely encourage him to pass through the Zarogian tree," he said back.
After hours on the moon just relaxing in front of the view We decided to go back to Ragnon. Unfortunately the stone that we came through was not active any more so we had to find another portal. We walked for a long time until we finally found just one active portal.
