Chapter 92: Chapter 92

"You look beautiful, as always," Amy said to Kayla who was standing in front of the dressing mirror, trying not to panic.

She smiled nervously. "Thank you," she replied as she moved away from the mirror and she immediately panicked. It was finally the D-Day and she didn't know what to expect. She began to have one panic attack to the other.

"Kayla," Amy called, noticing her change of look. She held her arm. "Are you okay?" She asked and Kayla shook her head. "Come on, sit," she said, leading her to a chair.

"I don't know.. I just feel so.. " Kayla began to say as she sat down.

"Breathe, Kayla, breathe," Amy tried to calm her down.

"What if he doesn't show up at the altar? What if he realizes every wrong reasons why he shouldn't marry me?" She asked fearfully.

Amy held her hands and squatted in front of her. "Relax, Kay. The Paul I know wouldn't do that. You've been with each other since high school. Your relationship is the only one that lasted this long. Believe me, Paul loves you and you have grown much on him for him to suddenly flee. You're just having the normal panicking attack every bride has on the most important day of her life,"

"So, Paul will be there?" She asked with a tensed smile.

Amy smiled back. "He'll surely be there," she said and added with a tease. "If he isn't, I'll make sure I break his neck for standing you up,"

Kayla chuckled. "You can't hurt a fly, Amy,"

Amy laughed. "Yes, you're right, but for your sake I will. You've always had my back, Kay and if there's a point in life when you'll need me, I'll have your back too,"

"Oh, shut up. You're going to make me cry," Kayla said with a smile as she slapped Amy's hand away and flicked away the tiny tear at the corner of her eye.

"You have no idea how badly I'm tearing up inside," Amy said, smiling sadly as tears clouded her eyes. "We've been together since elementary school and we've been living together since we finished highschool. I can't believe I won't get to wake up in the morning and see your face," she added tearfully.

"Now you're making me tear up," Kayla replied, her voice choked with tears.

"Don't. You'll ruin your makeup. No one wants to see a bride with blotted mascara around her eyes," Amy teased with a chuckle.

Kayla laughed as she smiled at her friend. "I'll miss you so much, bestie,"

"I'll only be one ring away," Amy replied with a smile and they hugged each other.

"Come on, one final touch so you can say I do," Amy said as they pulled apart.

Kayla stood up as she chuckled. She stood in front of the mirror once more, her long wedding dress flowing down the ground.

Amy placed her hands on her shoulders. "Have I told you how beautiful you look?" She asked with a smile as she looked at Kayla's reflection in the mirror.

Kayla grinned. "Only like a hundred times,"

"Let's make that hundred and one. You're incredibly beautiful, Kay," Amy said with a smile.

" Aww, you're making me blush. Thank you," Kayla replied, smiling.

Just then, Kathy, Amy's mother, walked into the room. "Goodness, Kayla. You look amazing," she appraised and Kayla beamed with smiles as Kathy held her hands.

"Thank you, mom. I feel so honored that you would be walking me down the aisle," she said.

Kathy smiled. "You're the second daughter I never had, Kayla. With all pleasure will I walk you down the aisle,"

Kayla had lost her parents after prom to an accident and since then, Kathy had taken her in as a part of their family.

Kathy let go of Kayla's hands as she clapped hers. "C'mon, ladies. We've delayed long enough. Everyone's waiting," she said.

"We're ready," Amy said.

"Alright, let's go," Kathy replied, walking towards the door. "By the way, Amy, did I forget to mention you look astonishing in that dazzling dress?" She asked.

Amy chuckled. "Yes, you did, but I'll let it slide cause it's Kay's day. She deserves all the attention," she said as Kayla beamed and Kathy let out an hearty laugh.

They got out of the house and the Rolls Royce phantom was waiting already to take them to church. Just then, a white Lamborghini Aventador pulled up that the back of the Rolls Royce.

"My ride is here," Amy said with a smile on her face. The door opened and Tris stepped out.

"Mommy!" He squealed in delight as he saw his mother. He ran over to her and she opened her arms wide to embrace him. He was dressed in a black tuxedo. She hugged him.

"My prince charming," she said, smiling, waiting for Cole to get down from the car too.

They pulled apart. "You look gorgeous, mommy," Tris replied, touching her hair.

"Thanks a lot, love, " she said with a smile.

Just then, Cole stepped out of the car and her heart thumped. He was dressed just like Tris with literally the same haircut. He was like a mini god version of Tris.

"Go meet grandma," Amy found herself saying to Tris and he went to her and Kayla. She straightened up, her eyes on his.

Cole could barely breathe as he saw Amy in the black dazzling dress with no sleeves, hugging her features before flowing down her feet.

He got closer to her. "You look breathtaking," he said, mesmerized by her beauty.

"Thank you," she replied with a smile. "And you look hot," she complimented.

His eyes widened in surprise and love as his heart swell with pride. This was the first time she was ever giving him a compliment. "Why, thank you," he replied, smiling.

He kissed her near her lips and her stomach flipped with butterflies.

He went over to Kayla and Kathy.

"The beautiful bride of the day," he said with a smile.

She smiled back for the first time. "Thank you," she was finally warming up to him after the press conference he held.

"Mom," he kissed Kathy's cheek.

"Son, right on time," she kissed his cheek too.

"I hope brought gifts, mister," Kayla said to him, feigning annoyance. "Cause if you didn't.."

He smiled. "A pre gift has been sent to your new home,"

Her eyes shone. "What is it?"

"You'll find out after the wedding,"

"Shall we?" Kathy asked.

"Yes," he replied. Tris went with Kathy and Kayla while Amy went with Cole.

"Where is my gift?" Amy asked as they got seated in the car.

He smiled as he placed his hand on hers. "On its way,"

"Now I feel bad because I don't know what to gift you,"

"You're my gift, Amy and you gave me the greatest gifts of all. Tris," he replied, melting her heart and she smiled.

Cole and Amy pulled up first at the church and paparazzi was already there waiting for them. Somehow, they had gotten wind of information that Cole would be gracing Paul's wedding. The car doors automatically opened and they stepped out, with cameras in their faces, trying to take perfect angles of them. Cole came over to Amy and stretched out his elbow. She smiled and tuck her hand in it.

This was their first public appearance with the paparazzi in their faces. They got seated in church and that was when Kayla pulled up.

In less than two minutes, the bridal anthem was played as Kayla walked through the doors. Paul was unnerved by her beauty and couldn't wait for her to be his.

Kathy held her hand, leading her to the altar and Tris went over to Paul's niece, both bearing the rings.

Kayla got to the altar and Kathy let go of her hand with a smile as she walked away. Kayla stood beside Paul as the priest spoke.

The ring bearers, Tris and Paul's niece, Lila, came to them as they took the rings from them and exchanged their vows.

The priest declared them husband and wife and they kissed, to the hooting of everyone. Amy wiped a tear from her eyes as she clapped louder than anyone.

They all proceeded out for reception as the couples were congratulated.

Kayla moved forward to throw her flowers at the few friends from highschool that were her bridal train. They screamed hoping to catch the flowers, but it fell on Amy. She was surprised because she didn't plan on catching the flowers. She looked at Kayla who had a devilish smile on her face.

She turned to Cole and he was already on one knee with a black velvet box opened and a diamond solitaire ring in it.

"Oh, moon goddess," she exclaimed in shock, placing her hands on her face.

Everyone present were surprised and the paparazzi began taken pictures.

"Amy Scott, will you do me the honor and be my Luna?" He asked, his eyes anticipating her answer.

"Say yes!" The crowd chorused. Amy looked over at Kayla and she blew a kiss at her. With Kayla's look, Amy knew she was in this with Cole.

"Mommy, say yes!" Tris exclaimed excitedly.

Amy laughed tearfully." Yes, I'll be your Luna, " she said, stretching forth her hand and he slipped the ring on her finger and everyone clapped.

Cole lifted her in his arms and kissed her passionately.

She chuckled as they pulled apart. "We just attended a wedding,"

He smiled. "And now we've got our wedding to plan,"

Tris went over to them in happiness and as they all jubilated and went for Kayla's reception, unknown to them, Shantel stood watching them in anger and hatred.
