Chapter 60: Chapter 60

Tris walked into the school premises, this time around, with his head held up a little bit high. He believed that with the little training he got from his father the other day, he was strengthened enough to overcome his bullies today.

Speaking of the devils, they trotted towards him. "Hey, Tris. I heard you've gotten a father. That janitor guy that came over to the school," the leader of the bullies sneered and his friends laughed.

Tris braced up a smile. "Yes, the janitor guy is my father. But, I'll like to correct something for you. He's not just a janitor, he's..." Tris began to say.

"He's what? He's a toilet scraper?" He jeered again.

Tris tightened his hands around the rope of his backpack." No, he's the CEO of Darrel's Corp," he replied and the shocked look he saw on their faces pleased him.

"Liar!" Stephen yelled at him.

"I say nothing but the truth," Tris replied, staring at him.

He scoffed. "It doesn't matter if your father is a CEO of whatever," Stephen said, advancing towards him." You'll always be my little puppet," he said as he grabbed a handful of Tris's hair and Tris whimpered from the pain. All of a sudden, he got bold enough to fling Stephen's hand from his hair, to the shock of Stephen and his friends.

"Don't pull my hair that way again," Tris said to him through gritted teeth.

This angered Stephen. "You little rascal," he vented as he pushed Tris to the floor. "How dare you lay those filthy hands on me, just because your mother is going around with a rich man to pay your fees!" He yelled at him.

Hearing those words, Tris got angry and stood up. "She's not doing that!" He yelled. Stephen proceeded to punch him in the face when Tris unexpectedly held his hand, stopping him. He flung his hand down and tried to punch Tris, but Tris averted it and pushed him away.

"Stay away from me," Tris warned and as he turned to leave, the other bullies pulled him back and began to beat him up, including Stephen. He fought back as he succeeded in injuring the bullies.

"What did I say about fighting during school hours?" The sound of a teacher's voice immediately stopped Tris from hurting them further.

"He.. he started it. He's a monster!" Stephen yelled out as he limped away from Tris, along with his friends.

The teacher surveyed the injuries on their body and stared at Tris. He wondered what had gotten into him. She knew Tris to be a gentle wolf. "You did this?" She asked.

"They started it," he replied as he looked away.

"Come on now. To the principal office. I'm calling your parents," she said to Tris and then turned to the three boys. "To the infirmary you all," she ordered as she took Tris to the principal office and phoned his parents.

Tris sat idly in the principal's office as he waited for his parents. He was bored watching the principal look at him while waiting.

Before long, Amy and Cole arrived at the school and were directed to the principal's office.

After all pleasantries, the principal went straight to why they had been called. "Is there a problem at home?" She asked.

Amy and Cole looked at each other, puzzled by the question. "No, of course not. Why?" Amy was baffled.

"Tris fought again, this morning. It's becoming too often," she said.

Cole leaned back in his seat. "And why would that make you think he has issues at home and not in school?" He asked calmly.

She narrowed her eyes. "I'm sorry, you are?" She asked him.

"Cole Darrel, alpha of the dark moon pack. I'm his father," he responded and was not surprised when he saw the shocked look on her face.

"Alpha, I'm sorry, I had no..." She began to say.

"Save it, principal," he shut her up. "My son has no issues at home, but in this school. My son here is being bullied and you and your staffs are not doing anything about it," he began to say and Amy felt her heart swell with pride with the way he claimed Tris.

"Bullied? We are against bullying in this school," the principal was flabbergasted.

"Yet, it is practiced right under your noses by little children. Tell me, do you have a CCTV around the school?" He inquired.

She cleared her throat, feeling uneasy. " Yes we do. They are just not functioning now," she explained.

Cole flared up. "Imagine that! Imagine a school without such facilities. Is this how you take for the kids placed under your care?"

"Alpha... " she began to speak in defense.

"A recording chip was placed in Tris backpack this morning," Cole narrowed his eyes as he pulled out his phone and played the recording on his phone. "These were the words those kids said to him and unfortunately, today was much better than before," he said as everything the bullies said replayed on Cole's phone.

"What?" The principal was shocked. "How long as this been going on?" She asked.

"For a long while now," Cole replied.

"Tris?" She looked over at him.

"Yes, principal Molly. They ask me to do their homework and when I don't, they beat me up," Tris explained quietly.

Principal Molly turned to the teacher standing by. "Bring them to me," she said. The teacher nodded and left the office.

A few minutes later, she returned with the boys.

"Which of you bullied Tris?" She asked, which took them by surprise.

"All of them," Tris replied, staring right at them.

"He's lying!" They yelled.

"Even with this?" She asked as she played the recording. They lowered their heads.

"We're sorry," they apologized.

She sighed. "What punishment do I..." She began to say, but Cole interrupted her.

"Suspend them from school for a month. Inform their parents it's an order from above. Nobody bullies the alpha of the dark moon pack son and goes unpunished," Cole ordered, using his alpha's voice and there was no way the principal could refuse. After all, the dark moon pack was the most powerful pack in Louisiana.
