Chapter 36: Chapter 36
Legaxy
“So, my parents died in a car accident?” I finally find myself asking while my feet dragging some sand.
We are walking by the beach tonight.
Mikee nodded.
“You were only ten when that happened.” he gently tells me, “That's why you became close to food… your comfort lies on the food itself, Dyme.” he lets out a sigh.
“Please, call me by the name you know me of.” I gently requested and he happily nodded at that.
“Of course, Nala.”
Yes, I now know a few things about me, thanks to Michael Angelo…
Theo had been helping out but it was unlike the progress I have been experiencing with Mikee.
With Mikee since we started talking these past few weeks, I found most of the answers I wanted to hear.
First was with my family who is locals of Angel Key, an isle found at the northeast of Mallow island and known for its blue ocean and white beach.
Then me being the only child and no more relatives living nearby since my parents migrated somewhere far because of war among the human race.
Not to mention the part that I became an orphan after my parents died and have been through a lot of foster care homes until Mikee found me.
With all of these things let out, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by Mikee…
I know this man was handsome, but no one ever told me that if you look at your mate with a fresh set of eyes that they would look this stunning — it would actually hurt.
Hold up!
Did I just confirm that I was falling for this man?
I glance back at Mikee and found myself fascinated by him as he speaks again.
“I know this may be too late to accomplish, and it's okay if you don't accept it, but I wanted to apologize for all the things that I have done to you, Nala.” he paused and sighs.
He then looks at me for a brief second before lowering it down as he proceeded.
“I was a boy before… I always wanted a fit woman and a she-wolf to be my Luna Queen. I know, I sound precise about having my Luna but it is the truth.
I solely pray for it and a lot of times, begging for it that someone such as that will be given to me. So, when you came, all human and fat, it kinda hit me like I was cursed in some kind of way by the Moon Goddess due to asking specific things that I became enraged from disappointment.
And being enraged like that, I kinda decided to blame you… reject my duties on you and hurt you in every possible way.
It was wrong, Nala, I know and I hope you forgive me for this so if you ever decided to reject me today then I will listen and accept it. I will not think twice about accepting it because I deserved it and you deserve — ”
I now placed a finger on his lips, making him stop his blabbering.
“I forgive you, Mikee.” I gently flash him a smile, “I forgive you not because I have to, but because I really want to… It's not really your fault, Mikee.
Sure, you sounded like an ignorant guy and living the teenage life from before, but that doesn't mean you didn't change for the better these past few years.
You regretted everything you have done and I can see that, Mikee…” I paused and cup his cheeks as I gazed into those lovely hazel eyes of his.
He looks dumbfounded, still, I proceeded with my talk of comfort for him.
“And now that we are here, even without my memories, I wanted to still say to you that I forgive you. It's all that counts and all are in the past now. The important thing right now is you and me, mending our bond and start over again.” I finish and surprisingly, Mikee kissed me.
And all I could think of were stars and glitters… and sparks.
⁂Michael Angelo
I have been with my mate for the past few weeks now and it's been great until I realized that I don't think I deserved this.
Nala…
She may be forgiving since she doesn't remember all the things that I had done with her, but once she did, she may despise me like I was a sickness.
Yes, that may happen, until I found her finger on my lips, making it stop from blabbering.
Then, she says it.
That three words that I really prayed to received… those words of forgiveness.
“I forgive you, Mikee.” she gently says, flashing a smile at me, “I forgive you not because I have to, but because I really want to… It's not really your fault, Mikee.
Sure, you have been ignorant and living the teenage life from before, but that doesn't mean you didn't change for the better these past few years.
You regretted everything you have done and I can see that Mikee…” she paused and I feel like swooning when she cupped my cheeks as she gazed into my eyes.
She looks at me with so much love and admiration, the same things her eyes had held the first day she came to me — it's still there, it was not lost.
Something stirred inside of me then, making my heart throb fast.
It's maybe the mate bond flexing, forming into what I call passion and affection but what really caught my very own attention was the fact that it happened on its own.
That I fell in love with her on my own accord — she is beautiful…
My eyes drop on her lips and I wonder if I kiss her —
I then caught onto her as she proceeded with her talk of comfort.
“And now that we are here, even without my memories, I wanted to still say to you that I forgive you. It's all that counts and all are in the past now. The important thing right now is you and me, mending our bond and start over again.” she finishes, and heeding that, I couldn't help myself and kiss her.
She tastes like peaches and there goes a hint of vanilla as I lick her bottom lip, asking for permission on entering her sweet heaven inside that mouth of hers.
I thought she would not open up for the request of a taste, but after dragging my tongue over her lip, she opens up to me and our tongues started playing cat and mouse chase.
But what got me all high on Nala was the fact that her insides were far more vanilla than peaches, it tasted heavenly.
Then, when a moan came out of her as I positioned myself a little to the side to get a better taste of her, every inch of my body heated up in desire.
I wanted more…
However, before I could even go further, Nala jerked away from me and when I look at those eyes, it's like the starry night, tonight.
“You are beautiful,” I whispered, and her already red cheeks brightened.
“Thank you,” she mumbled and I chuckle.
“Come now, my little miracle,” I offered her my hand, “time to go home.”
She looks at it for a second, a look of a daze on her face. Then, with a blink, it was gone and she slowly positioned her hand on mine.
When our skin touched, the sparks from before intensified and she let out a quiet gasp.
She stared at it once again, for a moment, before glancing up at me for an answer.
I smiled at how adorable she looks and told her, “Mate bond.”
She only nodded and we started our journey back for home; her to her mixed-race family and me to my hotel room.
