Chapter 12: Chapter 12
Many people are joining the party and the place is being crowded. People are enjoying the party and laughing along. Cres has been busy greeting the people and I am alone with Tate. Tate is telling some jokes but I do not find his jokes interesting. I am feeling bore but I could not tell him. Everybody seems enjoying but I am not.
"Me too missing someone." said Tate with sad voice.
"Ha.." I could not understand him and how could he listen to my voice.
"Your expression shows it and I miss her a lot. If she would be here then the party will have different fun. We will not miss anything and enjoy the fun."
I just smile and continue sipping my drink. It's a juice and that is also not helping. I look at Dan and he seem enjoying the meeting. He is shaking hands and talking with the people. Suddenly a voice took all the attention.
" Alpha is here.Everyone get ready." a man voice out.
Everyone stop whatever they were doing and look at the entrance. There was a pin drop silence and like a king he step out from the car. He look at the people and was surprise to see them. All the people bow at him and Dan greet him Happy birthday. He just nod and look at the crowd . His gaze was on me and there was a eye contact between us. I find happiness, longiness, hope but it was full of sadness. Before I could read further, Cres hold my hand and take me towards him. He was surrounded by people and seeing me they excuse themselves and went away. He was looking at me and it was making me nervous. I could not look at him and I was playing with my curls.
"Won't you say anything?" he voice out.
"Ha..." I asked him and look at him. He is looking handsome in the white shirt and the lights is doing its work. The clearing of voice broke my thinking and I remember to wish him.
"Happy birthday, Anord. May god bless you and you live a long life." I wish him and he was happy to hear it. I gave him a watch which perfectly matches his choice as I have seen him wearing watches. I had brought it when Cres and I had gone for shopping. He thanks me and excuse to change the dress. Before that he told me I made the party more special and compliment about the dress. I smile and thank him. His compliment make me very happy and then I started enjoying the party.
After 5 minutes, he joined the party in the black suits and he had wore the watch which I had given. He greet the people and cut the cake which I had baked before and we all eat the cake. There was one guy who was looking at me and smiling. I too return the smile and he came towards me.
"Hello! I am Daniel." He introduce himself.
"Hey! I am Ukrine." I replied.
"Nice to meet you but I have not seen you here before." he asked me.
"Oh.. I am new here and I do not know much people."
"Ok then would you mind being my friend."
"No. Well I would love to be friends of yours." I replied and we shake our hands. He talk about the party and a girl was looking at our direction.
" Who is she?" I asked him looking at her.
"She is my girl but due some reason she is angry with me."
"Then are you making her jealous? You are befriend with me for a reason." I asked him with angry voice.
"Absolutely no. I genieunly wanted to be friend with you and its not the reason but I want her to talk to me." he said with a sad look.
"Well then lets dance." I asked to change his mood.
He agreed and we went towards the dance floor. Other people were also dancing and enjoying the moment. The music was also so good and he put his hand on my waist and mine hand was on his shoulder . We began to dance as a friend and their was a distance between us. I enjoyed the dance and he too seem to like it. We sway along the song and then my eyes feel on him. His expression was stoic and he was looking at us. I ignore his look and enjoy the dance. I trip on something and I collide with Daniel's chest. In a swift movement I was made apart from him and collide with other person chest . When I look at the person, his face was full of anger and he marched towards Daniel. I could not understand his action and Cres came towards me. She asked me if I was okay and then I see the angry Anord. His hand was griping Daniel's neck and Daniel was choking to death. Everybody gaps and some were scare seeing him. Dan and Tate were trying to stop him but he was not bugging like a firm stone. I could not hold anymore and shouted at high pitch.
" ANORD STOP IT. YOU WILL KILL HIM. LEAVE HIM." he turn towards me but he did not leave Daniel. He murmured
"How dare you do that? It seems you wanted your death. Nobody dare to defy me. " It's seem he was not him anymore.
"ANORD, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND? WHAT HAD HE DONE? JUST LEAVE HIM .YOU ARE ACTING LIKE A MONSTER." everyone look at me and I see sadness in Anord eyes.
Nobody could stop him and I too was scare to death. I have not seen him this angry and I do not even know the reason. A loud voice stop him.
" BEHAVE ANORD. DO NOT FORGET WHO YOU ARE?" his words made Anord to leave Daniel. I wanted to go to Daniel but Cres stop me. Tate took Daniel and the man maybe in his early 40 stated the party was over. All the people leave the place and the place was empty with few people. The man look at me and it's seem he is trying too figure out something but he is getting it. He murmur "STUPID MATE BOND AND A WEAK HUMAN " and with a last glance he took Anord with him.
I was dumbfounded the whole situation and could not comprehend the reason. I should ask him the reason and meet Daniel and say sorry to him. Oh, Anord what have you done?
