Alpha Clause shook his head as he replied to her with a small frown on his brows, "We need to test them first! It seems too suspicious that I am guessing that Alpha Ross might have sent them. Where are they now?"

"They are in the den resting right now. I'm sure that they'll wake up soon. Do you want to send out some warriors to study them out?" She asked him.

"Yes, I think that would be wise, but I want to talk to them myself." He answered her as he moved past her to make his way to the pack house's den.

I followed after him to go with him as I yelled, "Wait up!"

The two of us walked through the main entrance and into the den room where we found four of the rogues lying down on their sides asleep. One of them was in a deeper sleep than the rest of them were. The one on top had his eyes closed while all of the others opened their eyes as they sat up and looked around at each other.

The rogue with a bald head frowned as he asked out in a deep voice as he stood up, "What are you doing here? Who are you?"

"I should be asking you that since you came to my pack!" Alpha Clause exclaimed as he looked at them with narrowed eyes.

"Oh, Alpha Clause! We're so sorry! We came here to join your pack, yet we didn't recognize you and your Luna mate!" The bald headed rogue exclaimed as he bowed his head.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." Alpha Clause said to them as he glanced over to me before looking back at them. "Alright, what is your name?"

"My name is Aiden, this is Peter, Nate and Jenny." He answered him as he gestured to the three other hewolves and one shewolf.

"Hello, Alpha Clause and Luna Fay, I'm Peter." Peter greeted us with a bow of his head of blonde hair.

"Hello, I'm Nate." The one with brown hair said with a shy smile on his lips.

"And Jenny, obviously." The blonde shewolf exclaimed with a small giggle as she waved at us, grinning.

"It's nice to meet you all. Now why did you come to join my pack?" Alpha Clause questioned them as he gave them a curious look.

Aiden shrugged, "Well, we have always heard about how strong you are. I mean, we heard the rumors and well, we just wanted to know for ourselves and we also want your protection from Alpha Ross because he wants to force all rogues to join him and do as he says."

Peter nodded, "Yeah, same here."

"He also wants to kill us as soon as he's done with us! He's really evil and I'm sure that you know that, so please let us join your pack, Alpha!" Jenny exclaimed as she looked at us with a worried, yet concerned look on her face.

"If you are willing to follow our rules then we can accept your request to join us." Alpha Clause told them as he looked at the rogues in front of him.

Peter grinned, "Of course, we will!"

The others nodded in agreement.

"Then welcome to my pack, the East pack!" Alpha Clause exclaimed happily as he smiled brightly at the rogues.

"Thank you, thank you very much!" They all cried out together as they bowed towards us.

I was surprised by their reaction when I saw how happy they were to join our pack and become a part of it.

"You're welcome to stay in our den until we get everything settled here and prepare rooms for you." Alpha Clause told them as he looked at the rogues.

"No, no, no! You don't have to do that! We can live in the forest near this pack house. We won't be in the way or bother you at all." Jenny exclaimed.

"That's not necessary. Our pack house is big enough for everyone to reside inside of it." I told her with a kind smile as they looked at Alpha Clause and me.

"As long as you follow our rules, we don't mind having you here." Alpha Clause added with a nod.

"Okay, thank you very much!" They all said in unison as they jumped up and down excitedly.

"Now, can you tell us where Alpha Ross is hiding?" I asked them, feeling hopeful.

They shook their heads as Aiden answered me, "No, he doesn't tell us things like that. Besides, since we ran away, we don't want anything to do with you."

"Why?" I asked curiously.

"Because he took our families away from us! He also forced us to stay with him and do whatever he says, or else we'd be killed by him!" Jenny explained to me as tears fell down her cheeks.

"I see…" I murmured as I looked at Alpha Clause.

"Is there anything else that you want to ask us?" Peter asked, looking at us expectantly.

"Yes, would you guys be able to fight against Alpha Ross if needed?"

"Yes, we can do anything to bring his end because we hate him for what he's done to us!" Nate exclaimed angrily.

"Good, then that's all." I said as I walked up to them and patted them gently on the shoulder. "We'll leave you alone for now, okay?"

"Okay, thank you." All of them replied with a thankful smile.

I turned to Alpha Clause and asked him quietly, "How do you feel about meeting the other pack members?"

"I'm not sure yet. I've never met any of them." He admitted to me with a small sigh.

I nodded, "Alright then, you can meet them tomorrow at first light. We'll all gather together to have a meeting and introduce you to everyone."

"Yes, Luna Fay!" They all chorused as they nodded their heads, and Alpha Clause and I exchanged smiles.

"Will you be coming?" Jenny asked me, looking nervous.

I smiled softly and nodded, "Yes, I will be there. Will you be alright on your own?"
