Chapter 62: Chapter 62

I nodded in agreement as I added, "Yeah, plus, it's very late at night and we haven't eaten anything today."

"Yeah, and I'm so hungry!" Luna Kat exclaimed as she patted her tummy which made Alpha Mason look at her with an amused smile. I couldn't help, but giggle at her along with Luna Kasey and Alpha Wyatt.

"Me too!" Luna Kasey added while Luna Ashley only nodded uncaringly.

Apha Sloan stayed quiet as usual recently while Henry, the leader of the Elves started towards us after speaking with his men.

"So have you finished discussing? Shall I escort you to dinner at my place?" Henry asked, looking at each of us.

We nodded as we said, "Yes."

"We would appreciate it a lot." Alpha Clause added with a friendly smile on his lips.

"Very well." He answered and began leading us through the trees, "Follow me."

We followed him and he led us to a small clearing with beautiful grass and trees around it. The sun was already setting and the sky was painted with various shades of red and orange instead of dark blue. It was breathtaking.

"This is a beautiful place." I murmured as I looked around.

"Yeah, I agree." Luna Kasey agreed with me.

"It's so peaceful." Luna Kat agreed too.

"Yeah, right." Luna Ashley said in a sarcastic tone which made the three of us turn as we frowned at her. If she didn't like the place then she didn't have to act that way, she should have kept her mouth shut since no one was even speaking to her.

Alpha Clause glanced at me as he gave my hand a soft squeeze and murmured, "Don't mind her, my one, she's a drama Queen."

I turned to him with a smile on my lips as I nodded, feeling my heart warm at his concern, "Yeah, I know, honey."

Henry led us to a large hut covered in green leaves and flowers. It reminded me of the huts that were built by the fairies in fairy tales. When we got nearer, I could see that it was actually made out of wood.

"Wow, it's so big and beautiful." I gasped, feeling amazed.

"Yes, it is." Henry agreed, bowing his head slightly.

"Please come in and have some food." He invited us inside as he opened the wooden door. "I'll bring it to you right away."

We all entered and looked around the spacious room while his men stayed in the shadows and I wondered why, but didn't ask. I noticed that the room was decorated in blue and white colors and had a huge fireplace in the center of it. The walls were adorned with beautiful paintings of different things, including people and animals. A long table was placed in the middle of the hut and there was a fire burning on top of it. Henry walked towards it and we followed him.

"Is this where you live?" Alpha Nathan asked curiously as she looked around.

"Yes, this is my home." He answered her as he put some logs onto the fire, then turned back to us.

"Would you like to sit down?" He asked us as he gestured towards the wooden chairs beside the fire place.

"Yeah, this is a nice place," I replied as I sat next to Alpha Clause.

"Yes, it is." He agreed with me as he held onto my hand.

"I love the paintings." Luna Kasey commented as she pointed to a painting in the wall.

"They're amazing." Alpha Wyatt added as he stared at them too while Alpha Nathan nodded as he sat down beside his Luna mate. The rest sat down beside us too while Henry walked out of the room to get dinner for us.

After some moments, he came back with a tray full of food and placed it on the table before us, "Here you go, ladies." He offered the tray to us and we looked at him curiously.

"What's this?" Luna Ashly asked him in an irritated and snobbish tone of voice as she pointed to the tray.

"It's food." He answered simply with a weird look on his face since she could literally see taht it was food.

"How rude of you to ask him that, Ashley! Please apologize." Alpha Wyatt said to her, reprimanding her as he frowned

Her jaw clenched in anger as she gave him a long look, obviously annoyed by his words, but he was right. She clearly knew that it was food, yet she asked him in such a rude way because she probably didn't like how it looked. She forced a smile on her face with her jaw still clenched as she looked back at Henry and forced out, "Sorry, Henry."

Henry chuckled as he gave her a friendly smile, "No worries, I was just wondering how you will eat without utensils since you all seem so civilized, but we don't have any utensils in the forest."

"Oh, okay." She nodded, trying maintaining her fake smile.

"But don't worry, everyone, some humans that crossed into this forest, not knowing that it's the Forbidden Forest and dropped their utensils along with other things when they were eaten by Leprechauns. So I think I still have those utensils somewhere here, lying around." He reassured us as he handed each of us a plate

except for Luna Kasey, Luna Kat, Alpha Mason, Alpha Clause and I since he was only able to carry four plates. He was about to turn around to bring our plates when I stopped him.

"That's not necessary." I protested as I shook my head.

"No, it's okay. I want you to enjoy my hospitality. Besides, I think that it will be easier for you to eat this way." He replied to me as his smile widened.

"Sure, I agree," Luna Kasey agreed with me.

"We apologize for the bother." Alpha Mason said as he gave him a small smile.

"No, it's alright, Alpha Mason. I understand." Henry reassured him.

"Thank you, Henry." Alpha Clause added as he smiled at him.

"No problem, I'll get your plates and the utensils right away." Henry replied then turn around and made his way to the door that he went through ealier.
