Brittany didn't look ashamed at all, she even looked angry as she clenched her jaw, but lowered her head in respect, "I'm sorry, Alpha. I shouldn't have tried this, but I really want to be Luna. You and I have been friends for some time now, and I thought that you would consider me and reject your mate just like I rejected mine for you."

Her words seemed to make him angry as his jaw clenched and narrowed his eyes at her, "You dare to say that I reject my mate? Brittany, we are, actually, we were only friends and I would never go against fate to choose my mate when mine has already been chosen for me. You might not feel any heartache now, but you will start feeling it soon as time passes. You can't be truly happy without your mate even if you've mated with another hewolf."

"But Alpha, I gave up so much for you!" She protested in a yell as her hands clenched into fists.

"You gave up so much for the position of Luna and schemed behind our backs and because of that, both you and Beta Connor will be punished!" He yelled back at her, looking very pissed off.

"Alpha!" She exclaimed in shock.

"You should be glad that I didn't banish you!" He exclaimed again as he galred at her.

"Go back to the pack house right now and await your punishment!" He commanded in his Alpha voice as he looked between the two of them.

"Yes, Alpha!" Beta Connor answered right away and grabbed Brittany's arm to pull her away.

"Yes, Alpha." Brittany said, weakly as she frowned, looking deep in thought and letting her rejected mate drag her away.

Alpha Nathan shook his head at them before looking back at Alpha Clause, "I'm sorry about that happening in your man, Clause."

My Alpha mate shrugged his masculine shoulders as he replied, "Thanks for your care, but I would really appreciate it if all these stayed between us. It's not a nice thing to find out that one of your pack members who you also took as a friend plotted such a thing."

He looked between Alpha Nathan and his Kun mate as he asked them and Alpha Nathan nodded with a sympathetic look on his face, "Yeah, I understand that. Don't worry, we will keep it a secret for sure."

Yes, Alpha Clause, you can trust us on that." Luna Kasey added as she gave him a reassuring smile.

"Good." Alpha Clause breathed out in relief before moving his gaze to me, his lips twitching up into a smile.

"Hey, why don't I take you to meet the other Lunas now?" Luna Kasey asked, drawing my attention away from Alpha Clause's captivating dark eyes.

I turned to her as I nodded, "Oh, yeah, let's go."

I glanced back at Alpha Clause as I stepped closer to press my lips against his cheek and pulled back, "I'll be right back, honey."

He nodded, his lips tugging up into a smile as he stared into my eyes, "Be back soon because I'll miss you, baby."

A blush rose onto my cheeks at his words and I grinned while Luna Kasey laughed beside me as she said, "You two are so cute!"

That made my cheeks blush even harder and Alpha Clause's smile widened as he nodded at her. She glanced at me and grabbed my wrist lightly, "Come on, let's go."

"Alright." I replied to her as I followed her.

She let go of my hand and led me through the small crowd of Alphas, Betas with their mates and Warriors. She finally stopped in a lounge area where three women were sitting on opposite couches with two against one. They were talking about something heated as they exchanged glared when we stopped in between their couches. Luna Kasey also noticed the environment and smiled uncomfortably as she introduced me, "Hey, girls! Luna Fay is here, and as you've heard before, she's Alpha Clause's Luna mate."

"Hey, Luna Fay! Nice to meet you." The one sitting alone said with a friendly smile and I noticed that she has dark hair like me and a short, but curvy frame.

"Good to meet you." The one with reddish brown hair and a tall frame muttered without even looking at me which made me get the vibe that she didn't like me.

"Nice of you to join us, Lunas." The last one with blonde hair and pink highlights muttered as she glanced at me with a sarcastic look like she took me as a joke and wasn't impressed by my presence. It was obvious that she didn't like me either and might even hate me.

"Nice to meet you all too. Can you tell me who you're mated to since I've never met you before?" I asked them with a sheepish smile.

"I'm Luna Kat and I'm mated to Alpha Mason." The first one that spoke with dark hair answered me, still smiling.

"And I'm Luna Hailey, Alpha Sloan's mate." The one with the brown hair said in a tight voice.

"Then you've already guessed who I am, Luna Ashley." The blonde one with pink highlights replied to me in a snarky voice. It was obvious that she was intimidated by me and felt that she needed to act that way. Well, I wasn't like all the other Luna's that she has tried this attitude on.

I ignored the way those two were acting towards me and widened my smile at all of them as I looked between them, "Thanks for introducing yourselves, I'm really glad to find other Lunas like me since I've always been an ordinary shewolf."

Luna Kasey patted my shoulder as she smiled at me, "You'll get used to it soon enough, Fay. I was also an ordinary shewolf, but last year, everything changed when I met Alpha Nathan at the Mating Ceremony."

"Yeah, that's right. Even though I was in Alpha Sloan's pack and his warrior before I found out that Alpha Nathan is my mate, I felt out of place too when I suddenly changed packs." Luna Kat added in a kind voice as she nodded.
