Chapter 100: Chapter 100
"Come in." I said, smiling as I opened the door.
"Oh my! The baby's so cute and looks just like you!" Luna Kat exclaimed as she brushed Fiona's cheeks with her fingers.
"Thank you, Luna Kat." I answered as I stepped aside and gestured for them all to come inside.
"Congrats on the baby, Luna Fay." Alpha Wyatt said as he held Luna Ashley's hand.
"Congrats!" The other echoed as I shut the door and we started towards the living room.
"Thanks, guys." I replied with a wider smile.
"Congrats, Man! You just met your mate, but you've already managed to make a pup." Alpha Nathan exclaimed with a proud grin as he slapped Alpha Clause's shoulder as he stood up to greet them.
"Yeah, well, it's not always that easy." Alpha Clause replied with a chuckle as he shook hands with them.
"Not at all, Clause. Not at all." Alpha Nathan said as he patted his back.
"It probably has to do with you having a true Lycan bloodline." Alpha Sloan said, silently with a neutral expression on his face. He still wasn't the same after his Luna mate died.
"True Lycans are the easiest to make pups with." Clause agreed with a nod. He was right, werewolves found it harder than even humans to conceive, so it took more time than usual.
"Either way, congratulations, Clause! You two must be very happy." Alpha Mason asked in surprise, drawing glances from the others.
"Yes, we are." I told him as I Luna Kasey took Fiona from my arms.
"Let me hold her a bit, Luna Fay." She said to me with a nervous smile.
"Sure."
"Congrats!" The others echoed to Alpha Clause.
"Thank you all, and now that you're here, we're going to celebrate." He told us with a wide smile that lit up his whole face.
"We're happy to be here, Clause." Alpha Wyatt said as he sat down on the couch next to Alpha Clause.
"I'm glad that you're here." Clause said as he motioned for everyone to sit down.
"Don't worry, you two. We'll all help you with the baby, so just relax." Alpha Nathan said as he sat down.
"Thank you." I smiled at them as I sat down beside Alpha Clause and he wrapped his arm around my waist.
"What drink would everyone like?" Alpha Clause asked everyone and they gave their response.
"So, what do you want to drink?" Alpha Clause asked me as he leaned in closer to whisper in my ear.
"Uh, orange juice would be great." I told him as I looked up at him.
"Good choice." He grinned at me as he left the room to get the drinks.
"Wow! Look at that view!" Luna Kat exclaimed as she leaned out the window and stared out into the horizon of the vast forest.
"This is amazing." I commented as I moved to stand behind her and admired the view.
Alpha Clause walked back in with a tray of drinks and sat down on the couch. He placed the tray on the center table and took my cup of orange juice out to place it aside, "Do you mind if I use your phone, Fay?"
"Of course not. Do you need to make a call?"
"No. I just wanted to check something." He murmured quietly, but I heard him clearly. So I made my way back to him and sat down beside him.
I put my hand on his thigh and squeezed it affectionately, "Are you okay?"
He looked down at me briefly before turning to face me again, "I'm fine, Fay. I'm just checking something for your parents' travel arrangements."
"Okay. Well, I'm sure that they will be happy to see you guys here." I said as I looked over at the others with a smile.
"Yes, I'm sure that they will be." Clause said with a small smile as he took a sip of his orange juice.
"Yeah, and it would be our first time meeting them, right?" Luna Kasey asked as Luna Ashley cooed to Fiona in her arms.
"Right." He answered, but I could tell that he was distracted by something.
"Yeah." I added with a nod.
Suddenly, the front door broke down and several rogues burst into the living room as they growl at us. I guessed that they were here to avenge Alpha Ross. He was their rogue Alpha after all, even though they abandoned him when we were fighting.
They were all in wolf form except for one who was a tall, lanky man with half his head shaved off. He scowled at us as he said, "We're going to make sure that you die just like Alpha Ross did at your hands."
"And whose fault is all that?" I muttered as I glared at him while walking to Luna Kasey and taking Fiona in my arms.
"Your Alpha's and yours, traitorous b*tch!" He spat out venomously.
Alpha Clause stood up from the couch and roared, "You dare to not only storm into my home and break down my door, but also curse out my Luna mate?!"
Before anyone could react, he started shifting into his Lycan form as he growled at the rogues. You could see fear evident on their faces and the one in human form quickly started shifting into his grey wolf form. The other Alphas also started shifting into their Lycan forms.
However, before any fighting could begin, several shots were heard and all the rogue wolves dropped down, dead. I gasped as we all turned to see who it was while feeling shocked. Turned out it was Carter, Rachel and Bailey as they held out guns in front of them.
"You saved us." Alpha Clause stated with a small smile as he shifted back into his human form.
"It's our duty, Alpha." Rachel replied to him with a smile as the others cheered for them.
Alpha Clause walked towards me and wrapped me up in his arms. I hugged him back with Fiona between us. I felt him murmur against my hair as he kissed it, "I'm so glad that you and Fiona are safe, baby."
"So am I, honey." I replied to him as my lips stretched into a smile.
He pulled back as his alluring amber eyes stared into my brown ones, "I love you, Fay, and I would never let anyone ever hurt you or Fiona."
"I know, honey, and I love you too. I also wouldn't let anyone hurt you or her either." I replied to him as he leaned his face closer to mine to press his lips against mine in a tender kiss filled with love.
The End.
