Emerald Black

I woke the next morning with the blazing sun shining through the window, flooding the room with bright light.

A gentle breeze blew outside, rustling the tree branches, but the room was perfectly still. In daylight, I took a moment to examine it.

Everywhere was peaceful and the thought of having less than two months left to leave left my mind. And that's how it felt. Like I was here for a vacation. But then I remembered the arm wrapped around my waist, holding me against a steel machine of a man. I couldn't simply check out of here, that's for sure.

I glanced over at the alarm clock by the bed. It was about 9:30 am, a very good time to run in your wolf form.

My mate Rain was still asleep, he looks so peaceful, like a baby, a frown left his making him look ten times younger. This is my chance to escape back to my pack and leave immediately away from my horrible mate.

"Don't even think about it Emerald Black," He grumbled, opening his eyes for some seconds before closing it again, I placed my hand on his chest trying to push him away from me but I was failing because my wolf was enjoying how close were right now to our mate.

"But I need to brush my teeth rain, morning breath. "I signed in annoyance.

"No, go back to sleep, your mouth smells divine"

He let out a low grumble before pulling me closer into his chest, his hand ending up on my thigh, sending a million shivers down my spine.

"Keep your hands to yourself Rain, no touching" I hissed, moving his hand up but unfortunately he immediately moved his hands to grip my breast.

"I'm touching what's mine. Your breath smells good to stop looking for an opportunity to leave me and run away, to escape from my hold honey ."

His handed rested lightly but every single finger tickled my bare skin and I bit my lip, his hands sent shivers and electric shocks down my spine.

He let out a chuckle, followed by a sigh as he nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck squeezing my breast more and I could feel myself ten times hotter.

My wolf was in going crazy from that action rain did to our body. She hadn't been this happy in years. She was enjoying the warmth our mate provided us and the way he held us so securely, she purred and jumped around in excitement wiggling her tail like a little pup with no shame.

"Let's have sex with our mate." My wolf said purring again.

But the more reasonable side of me couldn't be deceived. Mate bond aside, I knew who this man was, a sexist scumbag who only thinks of himself.

"We are never having sex with this wild animal. The only thing my leg belongs to is me, my pussy is mine, I walk with it every day so you can't tell me what to do with it.”I screamed, spit flying out of my mouth to his face.

I shoved his chest hard, wriggled out of his arms, and sat up, being sure to give him my best scowl.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Emerald?" he asked raising an eyebrow that makes him look more handsome with his messy hair.

"Wrong with me?" I questioned, lifting my eyebrows in amusement, he nodded his head waiting for me to answer him.

"We've already had this discussion and I don't like repeating myself, Alpha Rain. "I said quoting what he once said to me at the forest the first day we meet.

"Yet I still don't have the answer. Why the hell don't you listen to your wolf, submit to me?"

"I can make my own decisions, don't need her input. I'm my own and I submit to no man who wouldn't also submit to me, mate or not "I said to him.

"you will submit to me, you and your wolf, listen to your wolf, your wolf is the main part of you. Half of you. "He said scoffing in annoyance.

"Listen to yourself, yes my wolf is the main part of me but without me, she is nothing, or do you badly want to mate with a wolf, are you so desperate" I replied smirking. He paused for a second looking at me with his beautiful eyes.

"Do you know what I think, Emerald?"

"Your wolf wants to follow her instinct to be with me, and your human side is too stubborn and spiteful to let her. Accept that I will be the one, the head, the man in this relationship and you will be my Luna, then everything will be perfect for us "

"I know what is best for us. I know who you are and what you have done and how you have treated us in the last eight hours and how much I want nothing to do with you. She is just a horny wolf controlled by nothing but instinct. I will be better off without her, and I will certainly be better off without you."I said finishing my speech with a hard glare.

A grin tugged at his lips making him look so handsome than before if it was possible.

"So there is something in there, even if you don't believe it's part of you, that's horny for me?" He said smirking.

I shook my head in disbelief. Missed the point.

His arms wrap around my waist again, and he rested his head on my shoulder.

Kiss me," he whispered in my ear, "Maybe you'll realize how right your wolf is."

"I don't want your rain, never have and never will, so get over. "I said to him swallowing my spit and he scoffed at my words

"is that so?"

My eyes widened as his lips drew closer. I grabbed the pillow from beside me and forced it between us, creating a safe blockade.

"No, don't even think about it" I snapped.

He laughed to himself before untangling me from his arms and rolling onto his back.

"I thought you needed to go to the bathroom to brush your teeth?" He asked with a handsome smirk after I hadn't moved.

With that, I slithered off the bed and into the bathroom where I slunk to the floor.

His advancements were unwelcome, there was no doubt about that. But why was I so flustered at the concept of kissing him again? This was the first time his beautiful lips graced me, he tasted so good, I was tempted to go back and finish what he tried to start.

After a few minutes, I concluded that it was unfair of him to put me in this situation and therefore it wasn't my fault.

I allowed myself to have one more cringe at my life before getting up, putting on my 'I'm a mature adult' face, and opening the door.

The first view I saw was Rain- shirtless Rain by the window where the morning sun shone its golden rays across his abs.

I slammed the bathroom door again and took my designated seat for the day.

"You can't stay in there forever, Emerald," he said through the door after twenty minutes.

"I can. I can eat shit rather than seeing your face" I replied.

"You're fighting a pointless battle, I always win and get what I want."

"Well, I will be the first thing you never get,” I said stomping my feet because my wolf drove me crazier with her constantly.

"Struggling to ignore your wolf isn't so easy now, is it?"

"Rain, will you not submit to you so forget it?" I repeated.

There was a pause.

"No, you must," he said in the most unconvincing tone possible.

"At least try to sound believable, we must be equal not the other way around" I replied.

"You have thirty seconds before I break this door down."

Okay, that I can believe. I stood up and unlocked the door, refusing to make eye contact.

"Don't even look at me, And don't come any closer, or else I will do something we will both regret."

"So we're just going to not touch each other just because of your stubbornness today?"

"Precisely. I'm glad you're finally understanding, stay far away from me"

He took my hand and pulled me back our chest touching each other.

"I'm not satisfied with that, sweetheart, you are my mate, like it or not "

I leaned back away from him as he wound his hands around my waist. But there was no escaping him. He could do anything, and I couldn't stop him.

"Let me be honest with you, Emerald," he began, his voice mellow, "I will not make you do anything you don't want. But I am not afraid to make you want it."

He brought his thumb to my lips once again, radiating warmth through me. Imagine how blissful his lips on mine would be against mine again. I was so tempted to slam our lips together.

"But there's plenty of time for this later," he said, taking his hands off me, leaving my mouth watering,

"For now, we will have breakfast... unless you want to cut the chase and fuck this second?"

I swallowed and paused, "Breakfast."

He smiled and pinched my cheek, "I'll see you down there."

As we walked down the stairs he held my hands leading me to the sitting room, we heard the elevator door open as two flawless-looking brunette and blonde wearing, the brunette lady with blue eyes looked quiet like this was the last place she wanted to be and the blond lady with black hair look like this was the right place she wanted to be.

"Alpha, I have missed you," she said purring and her hands rubbed my mate's chest then turned to the other quiet lady and said again "we have missed you, we thought we will surprise you with a threesome just how you like it or with a foursome if your new flavor of the month is in for it."

"Excuse me? foursomes ?"I asked removing my hands from Rain's weak hold.

"Yes, all of us have sex all at once with the alpha, trust me you will enjoy it."

I looked back at my mate whose mouth was hanging up like fish out of water.

"Is this true?” I said in disgust, trying to get the picture of my mate having sex with two women at the same time, not two but one "I can't believe you never waited. The big bad alpha had to Leave up to his reputation right?" I chuckle at how foolish I was. He said nothing in response which means it was the truth.

I felt like I was being stabbed a billion times in my heart. Tears were running down my eyes. By now I am pretty sure that rain must be pouring. Never did I think I would meet my mate and will be the biggest regret of my life.

"So you are rejecting me?" He said in a passive voice, cold just like his black heart.

"Yes, I am rejecting you," I said glaring at him.

"I Alpha Emerald black, Alpha of the black moon pack, rejects you Alpha Rain night of the midnight pack as my mate. "I spat feeling our bond weakening my every second that passed with my words.

And just like that, the bond was broken.

It was all over.
