[Blood moon pack]

Dylan quickly ran outside and halted when he saw Ariana crooning for the baby in her arms, he quickly held back the Alpha of crescent pack when he made to run towards Ariana,

"let me handle this" he whispered,

Crescent pack Alpha glared at him but held still, "I won't forgive you if anything happens to my child" he warned, just then, crescent pack's Luna ran out, "give me back my child" she yelled before Dylan could stop her,

Ariana's head snapped up and she made to run off but Dylan already anticipated that, in a flash, he was beside her,

"My love, my sweet love, listen to the voice of the one you also love" he choked out, his voice thick with emotions, Ariana stopped struggling and stared at him, tears pooled in her eyes and the sight of it broke Dylan's heart,

"my child, don't let them take my child," she begged, and Dylan swallowed,

"No one can take your child, but you see, this child you're holding is not your child, have you forgotten? Your child will be seventeen in a few weeks"

Ariana stared at the child in her arms and then at Dylan as if she was confused, "this is not my child, where is my child"

"We'll meet our child very soon, you heard the sorcerer right? Let go of this child my love, the parents of the child wants their baby " he stretched forth his hand, and slowly, Ariana placed the baby in them, Dylan placed a kiss on her forehead, and the Luna of Crescent pack quickly rushed towards them and took her child from Dylan, weeping, she held the baby to herself before glaring at Ariana, "rumors have it that the Luna of blood moon pack is crazy, now, I have confirmed for myself, you're a lunatic" she raged and Dylan growled,

"Do not ever speak to my wife disrespectfully, your child has been returned to you"

"She put my child in danger, she is definitely crazy"

"I'm not crazy! I'm not crazy! I'm not a lunatic!!!" Ariana chanted, holding her head like it hurts

"If you're not crazy, you won't try to steal my child "

"Enough, I won't warm you again" Dylan's tone was frosty and his gaze deadly, he don't care if he was in their pack, he won't have anyone insult his wife,

The alpha of the crescent pack quickly placed a hand in his wife's arms, he knew better than to go against Dylan,

"I'm not crazy!!!" Ariana kept chanting and suddenly, her body went limp as she lose consciousness, Dylan quickly wrapped his arms around her before she fell to the ground, he could hear the murmurings of people around him but he do not care, all he cared about is his wife's well being, he wished he hadn't come with her, that way, she wouldn't have a relapse, he gently carried her in his arms and teleported out from there.

He immediately mind-linked Damien, "get your ass down here, Asap, Ariana has relapsed".

Dylan watched as Damien administered dosage of drugs to Ariana, she was still unconscious, her petite form looks even weaker, he clenched and unclenched his fist in helplessness, over the years, he had sought the help of numerous doctors but all to no avail, some that were bold enough even told him that her ailment has no cure, only the return of her son can make her okay, if only she was even able to bear another child, perhaps, she would have find comfort in that but she couldn't bear another as a result of complications in her last child bearing, leaving her child bearing bed straight into the battle field and above all using her powers just to save him had caused some damages on her system, sometimes, Dylan couldn't help but feel guilty, he has done more harm to her than good, sometimes, he wished that she had just let him die or be captured, she would not have been going through all these right now, she would have returned to the human world and quietly raised their son, he wondered where their son could be and why has he not been able to find him, he hated seeing his beloved wife in this state,

"What happened over there?" Damien asked, his gaze mirroring his concern,

He was the only doctor who had agreed and had continued treating Ariana over the years, Dylan swallowed before answering his question,

"She carried the baby, she was okay until she was asked to give back the baby to its parents, she refused and ran off with the child"

"This is bad, I can imagine the Alpha and Luna of Crescent moon pack would think of her"

"I have severed ties with them, they insulted my wife" Damien placed a hand on his friend's shoulder, he wished he knew how to alleviate the pain he is going through,

"You do not have to be hasty, you have to put yourself in their shoes, I mean, it's their baby, so, understand that they will not like the risk Ariana exposed the child to"

"I heard what happened and I came as soon as I can, how's my sister doing?" Samantha asked, stepping into the room, she quickly went to the side of her sister's bed without waiting for an answer, glancing at Dylan, she added, "I'll stay with her until she wakes up",

Dylan nodded, he felt like punching the universe for letting his wife go through such pains, he felt like punching fate for bringing his wife into his life to experience such Ill-luck because of him, he felt more and more responsible for what she was passing through, Aiden, where are you? He asked mentally,

"I need to be alone," he said before stomping out of the room.

Dylan went straight to his parents' grave, they were buried close to where they had both been killed years ago, on the boundary between the blood moon pack and rogue's zone, being an Alpha, coming there alone was quite dangerous but he was too overwhelmed to even think of that, standing by their grave, he let the tears he had been holding since the day he had lost his son fell, he let the bitterness and sorrow in his heart out, he hadn't cried since the day he lost his parents and that was more than a decade ago, since the day Aiden had gone out of their lives, he had always tried to be strong for Ariana's sake, he doesn't show any emotions but that doesn't mean that he doesn't feel the pain of losing a child nor did it mean that he was okay with his wife sufferings, as a matter of fact, the suffering his wife was going through got to him more than he could think of, inside, he was already a broken man while on the outside, he looks tough as nails,

"Father, mother, I'm such a worthless son, you both died while protecting me and now, Ariana also has to go through a lot because me, I'm a worthless son and a worthless husband add to the fact that I am also useless as a father, I can't even find my own son",

He wept until there were no more tears in his eyes and he began to feel sore in his throat, it felt good to let it out, sniffing, he brought out his handkerchief and wiped his tears away, he has been gone for quite some time, he had to go and check on Ariana, just as he stood to leave, he heard a twig snapped and his ears pricked, a scent waft through his nose confirming the fact that he was no longer alone, a rogue has just come to dare him.

Turning, his eyes narrowed when he saw two red eyes glaring at him, he saw it just a second before the black wolf pounced on him, and his right arm shot up to wade off the attack of the wolf, from the corner of his eyes, he could see three more coming out from behind the trees, he growled,

"Who would dare to fight the Alpha of the blood moon pack?"

"I dare and if I kill you, I will take over your pack and your pretty Luna also, too bad she's now mad, I heard she ran off with someone else's baby"

Dylan growled in anger and in a flash, he pounced on the black rogue, ripping off a chunk of flesh, from his neck, shock registered on the rogue's face as he turned into his human form, he has heard rumors about how fast and quick the Alpha of blood moon can be but now he has seen for himself as he lay there bleeding profusely, his two men that had come out from behind the trees fell beside him, eyes unseeing and the third one had to run for his life, he wouldn't want to face the same fate as his friends,

Dylan moved close to him, "you shouldn't have insulted my Luna" he whispered and without a second thought, he ripped out the heart of the rogue.

"I see your skills are still intact, you do not need anyone's help," Damien said, looking at his friend in admiration.

It never ceases to amaze him how fast his friend can be, he had followed Dylan when he had stomped off, to make sure that he was okay and had gotten here just in time to see him finish off the rogues,

"I am the Alpha of the blood moon pack, the fastest Alpha wolf and one out of millions who had received a boon from the moon goddess, no one can insult my Luna and get away with it, least of all a rogue" he spat, then flinging off the hearts he was holding, he walked off, leaving his friend to follow from behind.
