CHAPTER 16

It felt as though my husband just left me at the altar, its stupid to think that way but I did think that way, and it hurts.

I woke up to the ear deafening sound of my alarm.

I stretched myself before opening my eyes, I felt like not getting up from my bed at all.

Today is graduation day, and tonight is prom night, and the only friend I have who's graduating today has been ignoring me. Can today get any better.

I sighed deeply and dragged myself out of the bed. I just wish that a genie will appear in my room and grant my wish not to go to school.

My door swung open and I jerked up.

"genie" I exclaimed, hoping that my wish has been heard and is about to be granted, but instead Lola walked in looking so stunning in her black Mari Krista dinner gown. And read sole 4 inches stiletto, her diamond bracelet and silver wrist watch brought out the color of her skin which was shinning like that of a model's. Her deep red lip stick made her succulent lips as sexy as that of Dorly Parterns.

"ok first of all ewww, not a genie, and secondly why arent you dressed yet" she asked, bringing me out of my reverie.

"huh" I mumbled.

"girl are you lusting after me, ewww, get a grip" she whined.

"oh please, stop flattering yourself, you don't look that beautiful"

"what, really" she frowned.

"will a goat ever rule America, of course not, sis I was just kidding, you look like the queen of Agraba right now"

"I'm pretty sure there was no queen in Agraba, it was just the sultan and the princess before Aladin came into the picture and also...."

"girl, in conclusion, you look stunning, you look amazing, you look delish, you look everything nice" I screamed out loud and she laughed.

"thanks sis" she stared at me for a while.

"is everything ok" I asked her.

She sighed and opened her mouth to talk but she closed it back.

I walked closer to her and held her hand.

" come on Lola, talk to me" I beckoned.

"its about tonight, i...." she sighed again, and shook her head, she looked up at me and smiled. "tonight is gonna be really fun, remember we have a surprise for you sis, its gonna be fun"

I sighed and smiled, for some reason, each time I hear or remember this surprise thing, my heart leaves my chest and run to God knows where.

I smiled at her. "then I better brace myself "

"you should, and while doing that, get ready for school, girl you are the only one keeping us now, even mum and dad are ready, you woke up really late, you even missed breakfast but mum got you covered, now get into that bathroom and make this extremely cute body shine the more, and make your haters more jealous" she playfully pushed me towards the bathroom as we laughed.

She finally left after making sure that Im in the shower. I wish they have been like this ever since, although they used to kinda love me when we were kids, but when they clocked ten and me 8, they suddenly changed towards me, and I had a feeling it had to do with how my wound suddenly healed up few hours afer I had a very fatal accident which would have cost my life but instead of dying, my body got healed and more beautiful.

Thats by the way though, I'm glad they are becoming nice again.

"Andra I swear, I'm gonna drag you out of that bathroom when I get there, I dont care if you are done or not" I heard Titi shout from wherever she is.

She'll definitely do it if she gets here, I quickly throw my towel around my body and ran out of the bathroom, thank goodness I was done bathing.

I rushed to my door and locked it up, that girl gets me scared.

I ran to my closet to dress up, while in the closet I heard my door shaking hard.

"gush Titi, leave a girl the hell alone" I fired at her and smirked, waiting for her retaliation.

"bitch, I'll freaking kill you, whats the hold up for she fired back. This is fun.

"get out of my door or else you will regret it" I barked as I slipped on a red simple Jeni Kittys floral gown which stopped at mid thigh.

I ran to my makeup table and powdered my face, I applied a little pink lip gloss and red eye shadow with a touch of red gold. I plugged in my hair curler and curled my hair, well my hair was already curly but I had to give it a touch, its graduation day for Christ sake and Alex is gonna apologize for his behavior. A girl's gotta look good to make that happen.

"gush bitch aint you done already" I heard Titi ask in resigned frustration.

I almost laughed out loud.

I slipped on my diamond bracelet and wrist watch, I picked up my red Vin Kiera floral purse, I looked at my reflection in my dressing mirror.

Oh Alex is so gonna be sorry.

I chuckled and walked to the door.

"alright Titi, I'm about to open the door"

"just wear a bullet proof"

"theres no gun in this house so no" I replied and opened the door.

"wow" she exclaimed.

"you look stunning" we both said to each other and laughed.

"you look amazing" I commented, she smiled and said you too.

She held my hand as we walked down stairs.

Lily Ivy High School

I felt so many eyes on us as we walked into the hall, my parents went to the parents section while my sisters and I walked on.

'she looks like a queen'

'I wish I'm her friend'

'that dress is a bomb dude'

'is it too late to ask her to the prom'

I started hearing whispers, I tried so hard to believe that they werent talking about me but no, I could see their eyes right on me and I felt like running to the back of my sisters and have them take all the attention.

I only want Alexs attention, crazy but thats what I want.

hey Andra I heard Lindsay call me from a seat, I turned to her and she beckoned on me to come. i twisted my brows at her, I mean why would I go to her.

"this is our class row" she stated. Oh, I should have known.

I ran to her and she patted a seat beside her and asked me to sit down. Wow thats new.

But I sat anyway.

"OMG, the way Alex was staring at you, bomb!" she whined dreamily.

I looked around for him.

"he's over there with his brothers, your sisters are joining them now" she pointed to our opposite row, far in the front.

He turned back again and stared at me, I stared back. I mouthed at him "you owe me an explanation dude" he laughed a little and nodded before turning back.

After the issuing of certificates to the graduating students, the ceremony came to an end. Everyone went to the school field for pictures and greetings, lol, not everyone actually, those who wish to.

Well my family was among those.

I saw Alex and his parents, they were greeting a couple, and soon Fiona joined them, I guess they are Fionas parents.

Alex turned around and saw me, he smiled at me and I smiled back. I could see his brothers doing God knows what with my sisters right in front of the camera in the name of taking pictures.

Alex walked up to me.

"hey" he greeted and I nodded at him.

"you look stunning" he commented.

"you dont look bad yourself" I replied.

He sighed and looked down.

"Andra, I... I am sorry"

"for what exactly, being a jerk for no reason at all" I fired at him.

"yea, I'm sorry about that"

"hmmmm" I mumbled and walked past him.

"come on, don't be like that" he whined as he followed me.

I turned back to him and sighed. "why exactly did you do it" I asked him.

"I can't explain that right now but Im sorry" he stated.

"its ok, only if you promise it wont happen again"

"I promise"

"and what are you promising my daughter Mr. Alex" I heard my dad ask from behind me.

I shut my eyes and whined in frustration.

"its nothing to worry about Mr. Edward" Alex replied.

"it better be" my dad replied and walked out.

Alex began to laugh and I joined him.

"wanna take pictures" he asked.

"I thought you wouldnt ask" I nudged him and he laughed, he took my hand and we ran off.
