CHAPTER 15

I turned back to my books, hoping to wake up from this dream.

I closed my literature book and picked up my phone, I dialed Andras number but she didnt pick up, I just hope that what she said about my brothers telling her sister that she was at my house wont happen. But even if it does, I thought her sisters said that they wont bully her again. Although I still dont trust that.

I called her number again and she picked up.

"hey" you she greeted.

"sup" I asked her.

"Im good, you" she replied.

"Im ok, hey I called to know how you are doing, you know, after the incident at my house" I asked her.

"Alex I already told you, its ok" she chuckled out and I giggled, crazy me.

"I hope your sisters didnt do anything crazy". I asked her.

"what? Of course they did something crazy, they always do something crazy" she giggled out.

"did they tell your parents that you were at my house?" I asked her expecting a yes.

"no" she replied.

"really, so what other thing is as crazy as that". I asked.

"they werent rude to me when I got back, in fact they were so nice, Titi even baked chocolate cake and we ate and chatted together" she stated.

"that is so weird, what was their reason though"

"nothing, remember they told me at school that they will be nice to me from now on and they wont bully me again, thats what they kept reminding me each time I doubt their goody goody act

but still we cant trust them though

not even a bit" she stated and I chuckled.

"maybe they are doing this so that you wont report them to your dad as you threatened"

"oh my God, I completely forgot that, hahaha. So thats why they are so scared, OMG, this is so cool"

"yea, that means you can get anything you want from them right now, cause they are totally vulnerable"

"you are right, but what do I need from them, absolutely nothing, so lets just forget it"

"yea, enjoy the niceness while it last

right."

" What are you doing now" she asked calmly. Cute voice.

“I just finished studying my literature"

"awww, getting ready for your final exams yea?" she asked.

"yea, and you? "

"was also studying before you called, economics"

"cool, good luck on Monday though"

"you need it most, so, good luck" she chuckled a little.

"thanks i.. I" tried to speak when I heard a knock at my door.

"guess you have a visitor" Andra asked.

She heard that.

"more like an intruder"

She giggled.

"Im guessing you hate to be interrupted. Sorry but theres nothing you can do, the INTRUDER is already at your door, so go answer it."

"fine my lady, have a most wonderful night" I replied in a fake British accent and she laughed.

"you too my lord" she replied in a very smooth Indian accent.

"you never told me you are half india" I asked.

"get out of here Alex" she confronted with a light laugh before hanging up the phone.

I shook my head in amusement, shes so funny.

I walked to the door and pushed it open, only to stand few inches from my mum, i frowned and tried to shut the door but she waged it with her left leg and right arm.

"what do you want" I asked her.

"Alex, come on, you cant stay angry with me forever"

"well Im planning to mother" I fired and she gasped.

I took a deep breath and looked up at her again.

"mum you literally insulted my friend"

"and I've come to apologize, honey Im sorry, please hubby forgive me" she pleaded with puppy eyes.

My mum has such cute eyes that are very unresistable when you stare at them, especially when shes pleading, and she uses it to get what she wants from anyone especially dad and I, except my brothers, those three has devils heart.

"mum, dont do that to me' I sighed in frustration as I rub my eyes.

"please.. " she continued.

"fine, I forgive you, now can you stop torturing me" I breathed out and walked back to my room, she giggled and followed me.

"so you like her" she asked.

"yes, but not what you are thinking, we are just friends"

"then why dont you want to give Disney a chance "

"what, mum please can we not talk about this" I pleaded and paced around the room, but knowing my mum, I was sure she was just starting.

"Alex, shes a nice girl"

"who happens to be too young"

"age is just a number honey"

"mum, she doesnt know anything, shes not matured enough."

"no teenager is matured enough Alex"

"I cant date her, you know, I used to think that you were just teasing me about this whole Disney thing but now I know better, but read my lips clearly mum, I WILL NEVER BE WITH DISNEY, EVER" I barked and she gasped, holding her chest in the process.

Not this time dear manipulative mother, not this time.

"you like her"

"I dont like Disney and I'll never like her"

"I'm not talking about Disney, you like Andra" she twisted her brows at me and for some reason, I went dead silent, I opened my mouth to talk but all the words in the world ran away from me.

Its definitely not true, how do I explain it.

Mum shook her head at me with a little disappointed smirk.

"Alex, talk to me"

"mum..." but still nothing came out.

"even if you lie to me Alex, you cant lie to yourself. But baby what does she have that Disney doesnt have, come on"

"I dont know what you are talking about" great, I finally found words and thats all I could put together, what is wrong with me.

"Alex look at me"

I turned to her.

She smiled a little, she walked to my bed and sat down, she patted the space next to her, instructing me to come and sit.

I walked to the bed and sat down. I turned to her and she was staring at me.

"I'm sorry about this Alex but if you choose that girl over Disney, I wont forgive you" she stated carefully with a light smile.

She stood up and walked to the door, she turned back.

"dinner is ready, come on, lets go and eat" she whispered cheerfully like the mother I know.

But I was too rigid, to scared to even reply her.

She smiled broadly and walked out, leaving me dead frozen on my bed.

ANDRAS POV

Two weeks passed like two days, I almost lost track of time.

Like windstorm, prom night was approaching faster than I or perhaps faster than we all expected.

And in this few weeks I kinda noticed that Alex became a little distant, he hardly talks to me, in fact he changed back to the jerk I met when I first set my feet in this school. It bothered me a lot and I felt like asking him, but I havent actually had the time to do that as a result of the exams we were writing, it has always been from library to class then home, I met him once in the hallway when I was coming back from the bathroom, I tried stopping him to talk to him, but he wrote me off with the excuse that he's late for math exam. So I felt like it was cause of the exam, but now, it has become something totally different, he doesnt call anymore, he doesnt visit me in class, its choking me.

I have to find out what my offence was.

And thank God we are done with exams today, oh by the way, today is Thursday and prom night is tomorrow.

The cheerleaders are hosting a pep rally for prom night awareness and everyone was heading to the basketball arena where the pep rally will be taking place.

This is my chance to talk to Alex.

I went to his class, when I got to the door, I peeped inside to know how many students or perhaps how many female students were there but I only saw my sisters and their boyfriends, well except Titi and two girls that were wearing cheerleaders jersey.

I slowly walked in, avoiding eye contact with them, even though I can take care of myself now, and also my sisters has been nice since two weeks now, and I'm kinda beginning to trust them but still I'm not taking any chances.

"hey Andra" one of the cheerleaders greeted and I looked up at her, I felt trouble looming around.

"hi" I greeted back.

"wow, she greeted back, cute" the second one said.

The first girl walked closer to me but suddenly stopped, I looked up and saw Lola holding her shoulder.

"were you really gonna bully my sister right in front of me" she fired at the girl.

"but Lola I thought...."

"you thought what" Jenny asked from where she was sitting with Jake.

"bitch if this repeat again, the school will send your corpse back to your ugly ass parents, do you get me" Lola barked and the girl shuddered but nodded vigorously.

"bitch" Jenny cursed.

The girls bolted out of the class, I smiled at Lola genuinely for the first time.

"I could have taken care of it, but thanks sis"

"sis? Thats a first" Jenny commented and I smiled.

"what are you doing here by the way." Lola asked as she went back to sit with Jeremy or perhaps sit on Jeremy.

"Alex right?" Aiden asked and I nodded.

"I noticed he's been acting rather cold towards you lately, what did you do" he asked again.

"dude, are you insinuating that my sister is trouble huh" Jenny hit his arm and he shrugged.

"if Alex is your friend, he will hardly start ignoring you if you didnt do anything wrong" Jake stated.

"wow, I never knew that you all know your brother this well" Lola smirked at them.

"so then, what did you do Andra" Jenny asked, I looked up and saw Aiden staring down at me, well they were all staring at me but there was something about his stare.

"thats what I came to find out, I have no idea what I did wrong, please have you guys seen him". I asked quietly.

"well the last time I saw him was in the bathroom, he was washing his face, he kinda looked bad back then, just about 15 minutes ago, I think he's sick" Jeremy replied.

"thanks" I said and made to walk out but Lola called me back.

"Andra, what ever you must have done to your boyfriend, just settle it before tomorrow, I mean you can't be fighting with your first boyfriend on prom night, after his graduation day" she adviced.

"yea, that would be pretty bad" I heard Titi from the door, she walked in and went straight to Aiden and kissed him before turning back to me.

"by the way I just saw him going to the field, and you know, it will be lonely there, perfect atmosphere for reconciling with your boyfriend" she chuckled out.

"thanks, and he's not my boyfriend" I smiled at her.

"Hmmh, prom night will tell the truth" she smiled back. So cute. I almost laughed at my thought, not my fault, I just haven't seen them like this before.

I walked out and went straight to the field, I saw him sitting on the clear grass, I ran towards him, he turned when he heard my footstep, he stood up and made to walk out but I ran faster and caught up with him, blocking his way in the process.

"Alex, if I have done anything to you, please I'm sorry" I breathed out as a result of the running.

"Andra please, can I pass" he rubbed his eyes in frustration without looking at me.

"not until you tell me what I did wrong"

"you did nothing ok, its just that you and I, we are". He sighed.

"we are what, come on Alex tell me"

"I'm sorry Andra, excuse me" he brushed past me and walked away.

It felt as though my husband just left me at the alter, its stupid to think that way but I did think that way, and it hurts.
