Chapter 26: Chapter 26

Precious nodded her head and in a nanosecond, Bethel claimed her lips.

Like a moth drawn to a flame, that's how lips felt with Precious.

He could go on kissing her and not stop. He knew he liked her but kissing her now made me realize how much he really liked her.

Now that he was not going to hold back anymore, he'd prove his feelings for her and make her his girlfriend.

He rested his forehead on hers as soon as he stopped kissing her to catch his breath. Precious opened her eyes to look at his and she couldn't believe she was kissing Bethel.

She never thought kissing would be so sweet and satisfying. Bethel looked at her swollen lips and smiled in satisfaction.

Somehow Bethel had managed to get Precious to sleep on the same bed with him. Precious lied to her mother to be able to do so which she didn't like.

With Bethel's arms wrapped around Precious' waist, that was how they slept till the following morning.

Bethel slept at ease with her by his side, he was going to make things right.

Precious woke up to see that she was on Bethel's bed but he wasn't in the room. She thought he might be in the bathroom, so she went to look but he wasn't.

It's past three in the afternoon and Precious hadn't seen Bethel. She began to worry thinking he might have regretted what happened between them last night.

If he regretted it , she would definitely not be happy, and be hurt . She was numb to everything around her as all she could hear was the sound of their slow and passionate kiss, how he licked and explored every inch of her. mouth.

Damn!! I'm going crazy! the stuff keeps repeating I'm my head, Precious said to herself.

Let me get to know you, Bethels words repeated in her head.

"Precious!" Grace called snapping Precious back to reality.

"What were you thinking? I've been calling you." Grace asked.

How could I tell her what I'm thinking of right now. I'm going crazy after my insane sweet, perfect, passionate and ecstatic kiss with the chairman son, Precious said in her head.

"Nothing!" She blurted out. She was nervous all thanks to Bethel.

"Nevermind." Grace said. "Next Wednesday, we are going out to meet someone and don't ask me any questions, I will tell you everything later." Grace told Precious walking in the room.

For weeks Precious knew something was wrong with her mother, her mother has been more depressed than before.

"Mom." Precious called her mother. She was bothered, seeing what her mother said always had a huge effect on her.

"Is something bothering you?" She walked closer to her.

"Let's not talk now okay." Grace said, walking out of the room. Something was wrong and Precious wanted to know what it was.

Precious entered Bethels' room to check if he was back but still he was not. She looked at the time and realised it was past eight in the evening.

She walks back downstairs and finds Bethel and his dad walking into the house, they looked like they just came back from an event because they both dressed in a formal outfit.

When Precious and Bethels' eyes met, he wasn't happy and it felt like she was pinched in her heart.

Was he regretting the kiss? She thought.

She started to feel hurt, she started regretting believing him considering they were from different worlds.

She ran towards the restroom for guests to wipe away her tears before anyone saw her crying.

Upon coming out of the restroom, she is met with a familiar figure.

She scoffed, ignoring him by walking past him but he pulled her back.

"Why did you run off earlier?" He asked her.

Precious observed he was still in his outfit which meant he followed her.

"Excuse me, I have things to attend to." She said still avoiding eye contact.

"What do you have to do that can't be done later." He retorted.

"Can I go now? I'm busy as you can see." She spoke.

"Look at me." He demanded

" I said look at me." He repeated.

Bethel curled his index finger under her chin, bringing her eyes to meet hers.

"I'm sorry I left this morning without telling you anything." He spoke.

"There is nothing to be sorry about. After all, what happened last night meant nothing to you." Precious spat out without thinking.

"Precious," Bethel called. "I. meant. every. Damn. Things. I. Said. Last. Night." He said one after the other, making emphasis on every word.

"Wait! Does that mean it meant something to you?" He smirked.

"I never said so." I replied blushing.

"You care right? You like me don't you angel?" He asked using an endearment on her.

He called me an angel? He is making me a blushing mess? She thought.

Before she knew it, he captured her lips with his and made her forget what was happening around me.

He moved one of his hands to her waist pulling her closer and pushing her to rest on the wall while his other hands pressed her face closer to his as he savoured her lips with all the passion he had within him. While Precious on the other hand wrapped her hands around his neck, not wanting to let go.

They could stay like that forever.

"Your lips taste like strawberries."

"Hmmm, I love them." He moaned.

"We wouldn't want anyone catching us here and in this position, would we?" Bethel said.

Precious couldn't help but blush.

They spent the night chatting and getting to know each other. They fell asleep in each other's arms like yesterday.
