Chapter 10: Chapter 10
Bethel came out of his bathroom with a towel around his waist and a towel around his neck. He carried the towel around his neck and dried his hair with it. As he walked further into his room, he saw Precious sleeping on his couch.
He frowned, who gave her the permission to sleep on his rich couch?! He thought.
"Pauper!" He yelled, making Precious flinch from her sleep. His voice was deep and loud.
"How dare a poor tramp like you sit on my couch talkless of sleeping on it?!" He asked.
Precious frowned, how dare he call her a tramp and belittle her?!
She was hurt, he has always been mean to her but she wasn't expecting him to be so cruel.
Her eyes glistened with tears, she didn't like him for a moment but now she hated him.
She said nothing as she stared at him with annoyance obvious in her facial expression. "Get out!" He spat out.
As if I wanted to stay! Precious hissed walking out of his room but she made sure to slam him door as soon as she left.
Bethel was pissed, Precious was too daring, what he never expected from her and he would teach her a big lesson before he leaves her.
***************
"You call this clean?!" Bethel asked, shaking his head.
"What do you call it if not clean?" Precious retorted.
"Go wash it again and this and this too!" Bethel pointed out to the already cleaned clothings he knew were clean but because he wanted to see Precious suffer, he denied the fact.
"Great!" Precious remarked sarcastically, "You have eye issues, I always said it, you-need-to-see-your-doctor!" She spat out making emphasis on her every word.
"Your mouth doesn't learn, does it?!" He asked. Everytime she gave him a reply, it riled him up. No one ever challenged him but she kept doing it.
"Your brain doesn't think, does?!" She scoffed.
"You are lucky I don't raise my hands on women or else I'd have slapped you right on your face." He deadpanned.
Precious laughed hysterically, making Bethel wonder the reason for her lunatic laughter. "You finally admitted I'm a lady, I never knew you started taking good classes," she spoke sarcastically.
Bethel frowned, "It must have slipped, maybe I should really slap you to make you have sense!" He spat out.
"Pfff! Really? Tsk tsk tsk!" She clicked her tongue riling Bethel.
"You won't keep me shut and you really need to go to manners lessons too because you obviously lag behind!" She spat out nonchalantly before walking out of the room.
A month of thorough suffering for Precious has gone since she became his maid. Day by day he looked for new ways to punish her and not just at home but in school too.
He made her run errands and she hardly had her lunch too. She didn't suffer from him alone but in the hands of another Royal stone student.
The only time Bethel was lenient towards her was when Jeremiah was with him, he'd leave her because he didn't want Jeremiah to help her.
Precious dropped her bag on the floor as she entered her room, she reached for the bed and fell on it. She was really tired and sleepy.
She decided to sleep for just an hour before doing other work and that was what she did.
It's been a long time since she had a good sleep and it surprised her that Bethel didn't look for her either. She washed her school uniform, luckily for her tomorrow was Friday which meant they had P.E and school would close early too.
Precious knocked on Bethel's door twice before she heard him say come in.
She opened the door and walked towards him standing close to the bed as she watched him typed on his laptop.
"You don't greet?, Do you?" He asked her, still not looking at her. She said nothing.
"What took you so long?" He asked while still typing on his laptop. She did not answer.
"Have you gone mute?" He asked and he got no reply.
He rakes his hands through his hair, clearly frustrated, "I want you to go to a pharmacist and get me some condoms!" He spat out and her jaw dropped.
He smirked, finally he got a reaction from her. "You.must.be.sick!" She spat out emphasizing on her every word.
Bethel chuckled, the girl was sure a drama queen and getting her riled up was his new hobby. "You finally spoke! I thought you were DEAF and DUMB," He shrugged as he continued typing on his laptop.
"You were kidding...right?" She stuttered.
He smirked, he got another way to piss her off. "No. I am not." He replied, his voice firm.
She laughed sarcastically, "You were kidding no doubt." She spoke but his facial expression did not change.
"Why would I joke around? I'm a man, almost eighteen and I am like every hormonal teenager," he spoke with his facial expression still the same, unreadable.
"I thought you were having issues seeing but you also have issues thinking too," she spat out.
Bethel chuckled, somehow, unlike last month her every word recently made him laugh, she was sure easy to crack up.
"That's true, I just realized that I have issue thinking because if I were to tell you my thoughts right now..." He trailed off. "You'd feel goosebumps on your skin instantly," he said, riling Precious up.
"I don't wanna know them since you clearly just admitted you are sick upstairs!" She retorted.
"Really?" He asked, raising his brows.
"Yes." She replied.
"Okay, do you wanna know who I want to use them on?" He asked with a devious glint on his face.
She hissed, "Who would that be, not that I am curious," she spoke.
"Y.O.U...You!"
"What?!" Her jaw dropped.
Bethel laughed, the look on her face was priceless and he wished he had captured that in a camera.
"Jerk!" She muttered.
