Chapter 439: Chapter 439

Huang Kaiwen jolted awake from his dream.

A familiar pain shot through his left arm, and Huang Kaiwen clenched his teeth and shouted, "Filippo Inzaghi!!!"

The only one who could injure him on a non-match day was none other than Inzaghi.

Neither Kaka nor Maldini had such hobbies.

Huang Kaiwen took out his cell phone and dialed through.

"Hey... bro, brother, the timing of your call... is too perfect, I really need your help."

On the other end of the phone, Inzaghi spoke while panting heavily.

"Damn it, don’t answer the phone when you’re doing that kind of thing, and how did you get hurt again?"

Huang Kaiwen asked, clearly annoyed.

"How did you know I was hurt?"

Inzaghi continued to gasp and said, "Never mind, it’s not the time for small talk. Brother, I’m being chased by three dogs, you’d better come pick me up quickly, or you’ll only be able to collect my corpse, I feel like they’re about to bite my butt off!"

Huang Kaiwen asked with a cold huff.

He must have made a mistake.

But Inzaghi definitely didn’t do anything good, otherwise, he wouldn’t be chased by dogs.

After getting up, Huang Kaiwen moved his arm around; it wasn’t a big deal, so he went downstairs to drive by himself.

Inzaghi was still his brother Huang’s pal, it was better not to let the butler or bodyguards see him in embarrassing moments.

About half an hour later.

Huang Kaiwen arrived at Studio.

There were quite a few universities nearby; Milan Polytechnic was around this area.

This neighborhood had many students, a young community, with entertainment places nearby that young people enjoyed.

Huang Kaiwen highly suspected that Inzaghi was flirting with college girls and got caught by one of their boyfriends.

Otherwise, there was no reason for this guy to appear in Studio since the cost of living in Studio wasn’t high, which didn’t fit Inzaghi’s habits.

When he reached the rendezvous point, Huang Kaiwen already saw Inzaghi showing off in front of some college girl from afar.

However, the fact that he wasn’t wearing any shoes was a letdown.

The posing Inzaghi, spotting Huang Kaiwen’s car from a distance, didn’t bother to continue chatting up the college student and ran to the car, clumsily getting into the passenger seat.

Huang Kaiwen turned his head to look at Inzaghi; wearing a suit in December was no different from wearing stockings in winter.

As soon as Inzaghi jumped into the passenger seat, he started to complain, "Turn up the heat, I’m freezing to death."

"You seemed pretty energetic greeting that young girl."

Huang Kaiwen teased with a smile.

"The main thing is I didn’t want to disgrace our Three Musketeers, got to keep up our poise outside!"

Inzaghi said as he adjusted his suit in the rearview mirror, "Let’s keep today’s incident between us."

"Why are you dressed so lightly and in such a sorry state?"

Huang Kaiwen curiously asked.

Even if Inzaghi wanted to show off, he wouldn’t be wearing a suit in such chilly weather, right?

"Don’t even mention it."

Inzaghi sighed and said, "I met a female professor before; she’s pretty and has great taste. We hit it off really well, and spent a nice night together."

"And then what happened?"

"When I was getting dressed to leave in the morning, someone came back, you know what I mean."

"I don’t understand, I’ve never been through something that miserable."

Huang Kaiwen said, barely holding back his laughter.

Inzaghi never learned his lesson.

As far as Huang knew, it was already the second time.

"The bastard had a scary face, and I climbed out the window the moment I saw him. I had no time to grab my shoes and jacket."

Huang Kaiwen suddenly realized something and asked, "What floor did you climb down from?"

Inzaghi said proudly, "I’ll tell you a secret that not even my parents know; I think I might be Superman!"

"If you can climb down from the 6th floor, you really are something special!"

Huang Kaiwen said, speechless.

Does this guy think he’s not dying fast enough?

Maybe he should just go get sponsored by Red Bull.

"I’m serious, I’m not joking!"

Inzaghi insisted sternly, "I’ve found that every time I get hurt, I recover very quickly, and most importantly, it doesn’t affect my athletic ability at all. Isn’t this the super healing power like in the comics? Today I wanted to try jumping straight down from the 6th floor but got a bit scared, so I climbed down to the third floor before jumping. That’s how I hurt my arm."

Yellow Ball King seemed to have stumbled upon some incredible revelation.

He finally figured out why Inzaghi was always getting injured.

Huang Kaiwen had once read online that pain can alert humans to potential harm, prompting individuals to immediately leave dangerous environments, and losing the sense of pain can be very dangerous.

Now Inzaghi, having Huang to take on part of his injuries and with a sped-up recovery that didn’t affect his career, was in some ways like those who feel no pain.

Inzaghi thought he was so incredible that he was never afraid of getting hurt.

This led to continuous trouble for Yellow Ball King.

At this rate, Inzaghi might indeed jump down from the 6th floor someday.

And Huang would have to share in the recovery.

"Filippo, I think you should still be careful; even if you recover quickly from injuries, you can’t guarantee it will always be the case. You don’t want to end up in a wheelchair in your next life."

Huang Kaiwen advised.

He was shouldering Inzaghi’s mistakes.

Considering the brotherhood and having won so much money from Inzaghi, as well as the ability to farm [Fate Points], Huang Kaiwen could reluctantly accept it.

But he couldn’t keep taking on Inzaghi’s injuries forever.

"It’s fine, don’t worry; I’ve got it under control."

Inzaghi said carelessly.

Huang Kaiwen didn’t know how else to convince Inzaghi.

He’d talk to Inzaghi about it once he had a better idea.

Huang Kaiwen was about to start the car to leave when he suddenly thought of something and asked, "Wait, how did you still end up being chased by dogs after coming down from the 6th floor? Even if he had a dog, it wouldn’t catch up with you, would it?"
