Chapter 215: Chapter 215
As soon as Serena Everett entered the classroom, Eleanor Linden approached her.
"Serena, I specially brought you breakfast, would you like to try it?"
Yesterday, Mrs. Linden was too hard on Eleanor, the handprint on her face still hadn’t faded. She applied a thick layer of concealer, but it still looked off.
With an expression full of cautious flattery, she said, "Serena, it was my fault yesterday. I sincerely wish to apologize today, I personally queued up to buy this, please try it!"
Serena Everett didn’t even bother to give her a glance, her voice was exceptionally cold.
"I find your stuff dirty."
Eleanor’s face turned pale with anger, she had lowered herself and humbled herself to please her, yet Serena still embarrassed her in front of everyone!
"Also, the person you should apologize to is Summer Miller." Serena’s eyes were icy cold. "For what you’ve done to her, I’ll repay every bit on her behalf."
Eleanor’s expression looked even worse, her inner resentment almost spilling over.
All she did was beat Summer Miller up and throw her into The Pit, right? She wasn’t dead, so why can’t Serena let go of this?!
.She really didn’t understand, Summer was just an ordinary poor kid from a regular family, why was she worth Serena defending her !
"Move aside, don’t block my sister Serena’s way!"
Seeing Serena’s frustrated expression, the entire class stepped forward to drive Eleanor away, as her previous attitude had caused the class to develop a dislike for her, making them speak unkindly.
"Yeah, haven’t you heard that good dogs don’t block the way? Hurry up and move!"
"That’s right, don’t come bothering our sister Serena early in the morning, can’t you see she doesn’t want to deal with you?"
After pushing Eleanor away, they turned their attention back to Serena with utmost friendliness.
"Sister Serena, what’s wrong with Eleanor? She suddenly seems like a completely different person trying to give you breakfast!"
"Yeah, it’s weird! Wasn’t she snooty before, looking down on everyone?"
"I think it’s a weasel wishing the chicken a Happy New Year, no good intentions!"
"Exactly, I agree... Sister Serena, don’t bother with her!"
Eleanor was ostracized by the whole class, her expression growing even darker.
She used to bully others openly by relying on her status as a daughter of the Linden Family. She never expected that she’d be ostracized someday too!
The taste of being ostracized was truly uncomfortable...
Eleanor bit her teeth ferociously. As long as that wench Serena falls from grace, her end will be even worse!
She must quickly find a way to get Crystal Joyce and Damian Quinn together, the Linden Family can’t wait much longer!
"Silas, Eleanor said she will message me, that she’ll come find me later. Can you wait here for her? I’m going to feed the kittens!" Crystal Joyce gently instructed him.
Silas nodded with concern, "Okay, Miss Crystal, be careful not to get scratched again."
"I won’t!" Crystal shook her head at him, "They’re already familiar with me now, they won’t scratch me anymore."
Hearing this, Silas finally relaxed. He was allergic to cat fur, unable to accompany her, knowing now those kittens wouldn’t bite her, gave him peace.
As Crystal went in, she saw all the stray cats surrounding Niall Everett, eating their cat food obediently.
Niall didn’t expect to see her again, surprise flashed in his eyes as he smiled and greeted her.
Crystal courteously nodded at him and lightly bit her lip, "The previous... investigation, how did it go?"
"There’s no surveillance here, can’t find who was cruel to the little orange kitten." Mentioning this, Niall’s defiant brows furrowed, "But I won’t give up chasing the truth, I will find out who did it!"
Facing her clear eyes, Niall’s heart skipped a beat, he quickly coughed and shifted his gaze, not daring to look at her anymore.
"I got this for you."
Seeing the thing thrown to her, Crystal swiftly caught it—a small cat plush toy, resembling the previous little orange kitten.
Crystal beamed at him with a sweet smile, "Thank you!"
Niall felt his ears burning even more, "I... I have to go back to training, I’m leaving. See you next time!"
With these words, Niall, covering his reddened ears, bolted away.
Crystal poured cat food into the bowl, watching the stray cats satisfied and fed, she finally left.
Looking at the toy in her hand, Silas frowned involuntarily.
"Miss Crystal, what is this?"
Crystal’s voice was cheerful, "It’s a gift from someone."
Seeing her bright smile, clearly she liked it, Silas’ eyes darkened slightly and he said no more.
Hearing Eleanor’s voice, Crystal quickly turned, upon seeing her slightly swollen face, she couldn’t help but furrow her brow.
"Eleanor, what’s wrong with your face? Did someone bully you?"
Mentioning her face, Eleanor’s gaze grew more malicious, if it weren’t for that wench Serena, how could her mother hit her so?!
"I’m fine, don’t worry." Eleanor forced a smile, immediately suckling up, "Crystal, you’re just as caring and kind-hearted as always..."
Her flattering words were quickly interrupted by a cold female voice.
Serena stood lazily not far away, her face expressionless yet somehow compelling submission.
"Sister-in-law!" Seeing Serena, Crystal beamed and hurried toward her, "Sister-in-law, is there something you need from me?"
Serena handed her a small porcelain bottle, "This is medicine for you, take it three times a day, it’ll help your health."
She reviewed her medical report, the Five Spirits Pill is beneficial for her body.
Joy lit Crystal’s eyes, then she offered a sweet smile and thanks, "Thank you, sister-in-law!"
"You’re welcome, it’s no trouble." Serena’s demeanor remained relaxed, "By the way, don’t hang out with idiots, stupidity is contagious."
Standing by, Eleanor heard clearly, and instantly trembled with anger.
