Chapter 214: Chapter 214
Elliot Everett’s gaze swept over the two of them, the warning was obvious, then he gently reached out to touch her head, "Serena, tell them, who is your favorite brother!"
As soon as these words fell, Niall Everett and Ian Everett immediately looked at her eagerly, their eyes full of expectation.
Serena could only feel more helpless, her fair fingertips pressing hard against her temples, when did her big brother become so childish?
Niall immediately said, "No way, Serena! There must be a favorite. It’s okay, feel free to say it, no matter who you like the most, we won’t get mad!"
He was confident that since he was the first to come home, Serena’s favorite brother must be him!
Ian quickly nodded in agreement, "Yes, yes, Serena, feel free to say it, we won’t get mad!"
Serena had once said he was her money tree and liked him the most, so he must be her favorite brother!
Elliot also leisurely chimed in, "Serena, go ahead, it’s okay."
A smile was on his handsome face, but the look he gave Ian and Niall was chilling.
If Serena’s favorite brother turned out to be those two brats, he’d give them a good beating later.
Serena knew that although they now said it was okay, if she did say a name, they would surely start a fuss.
Ugh, having too many brothers is really a hassle...
"Shoo shoo shoo! You three little brats, stop making it difficult for my precious daughter!"
Ivan Everett came down from the second floor, gave them a stern look, and immediately waved them away.
"All of you, get moving, don’t just stand here being an eyesore!"
As soon as he said this, Ivan turned his head, looking at Serena with a gentle and doting expression, showing blatant favoritism.
"Serena, don’t mind those three little brats, Dad’s got your back!"
Though the three, Elliot and the others, were unhappy, they obediently turned around and went back to their rooms.
Only then did Ivan nod in satisfaction. Having chased away those three little brats, he could finally have a good chat with his beloved daughter!
Before Ivan could finish, Jocelyn Sterling pushed him aside, "Go away, stop being a nuisance here!"
Why did that sound so familiar?!
Jocelyn raised her hand to hold Serena’s hand, speaking gently, "Serena, mom wants to talk with you!"
Seeing Jocelyn’s undisguised disdain, Ivan couldn’t help but speak sourly, "Ever since Serena came back, your heart has only been with Serena, not me!"
Jocelyn’s attention was diverted, and she gave him a playful glare, "Getting jealous of your daughter? Aren’t you afraid people will laugh at you!"
"What’s so funny about it? You’re the one with just Serena in your heart now!"
Though it seemed like they were bickering, their faces were all smiles.
Watching them getting along so well, Serena’s rosy lips curved into a smile. She didn’t stay any longer as a third wheel and, with her long, straight legs, caught up to Elliot.
Hearing this soft call, Elliot immediately stopped, "Serena, what’s up?"
Serena took out a black card from her pocket, "Big brother, here’s the five billion I tricked out of you before, returning it now."
With anyone else, she’d take them for all they’re worth, but now knowing it was from Elliot, she certainly couldn’t accept this money!
Elliot wouldn’t take it back, just fondly ruffling her head, "Serena, consider this five billion as pocket money from your big brother. Serena, if you need more pocket money, just let big brother know." Follow current novels on N0velFire.ɴet
Serena shook her head at him, "No, you should take it back, big brother."
"It’s just a small amount, why act so distant with big brother?" Elliot was firm, "If you don’t take it, then big brother will be the one upset."
Five billion is just pocket change?!
Standing by, Niall and Ian couldn’t help but look on enviously.
"Big brother, when will you give us some pocket money too?"
"Yeah, big brother, when will you look after your two brothers? We also need a little pocket change!"
"Scram." Elliot gave them a cold glance, "Can you compare with Serena?"
The family rule is to raise sons frugally and daughters lavishly.
Besides, Serena had suffered so much while away, she deserved the best of everything to make up for it!
Even though Niall and Ian were already used to the double standards, they couldn’t help but twitch their lips, though they agreed with Elliot’s sentiment in their hearts.
Their precious sister deserved nothing less than the best of everything the world had to offer!!!
"Alright, Serena." Elliot put the black card back into her hand, "It’s late, you should get some rest."
Serena could only put the black card back in her pocket, feeling warm inside, she gave Elliot a bright smile.
"Thank you, big brother!"
Watching Serena’s retreating figure, Elliot then remembered something he had forgotten, "Just got word from the second brother, he’s coming back to Imperia soon."
Niall and Ian spoke in unison, "Is second brother’s mission over?"
"Yes." Elliot nodded, "You guys go pick him up then."
Upon hearing this, Niall and Ian’s faces immediately fell.
The second brother was strict by nature, and they didn’t want to be drilled by him!
Niall: "What about you, big brother?"
Ian: "Yeah, big brother, why aren’t you coming with us to pick up the second brother?"
Elliot didn’t even lift his eyelids, speaking righteously, "Of course I want to stay and accompany Serena."
He absolutely wouldn’t give Damian Quinn that old beast a chance to get close to their precious sister! He’d even dared to mock him for being rich and brainless earlier, huh!
Elliot squinted his dark eyes. If Damian Quinn ever got a chance to approach Serena again, he’d indeed be an idiot with more money than sense!
"We want to stay with Serena too!"
Niall and Ian immediately protested, unhappily speaking up.
"Big brother, you’re trying to push us away so you can have Serena to yourself! Too much!"
"Exactly, big brother, you’re too much, we object!"
Elliot cast a chilling glance over, suppressing them with his aura, "Objection overruled, that’s the decision."
He had to make sure he was the brother Serena liked the most!
Damian Quinn’s tall and slender figure leaned casually against the car, his long, narrow, deep-set soulful eyes gazing at the distant room, his distinctly jointed hands, as lovely as a piece of art, playing with a lighter.
Only when he saw the light in the girl’s room go out did he withdraw his gaze.
"Keep a close eye on Mrs. Everett for a while," Damian instructed coldly.
Although Chase Sherman was puzzled, he still immediately replied respectfully, "Yes, Master Damian."
Damian tossed the lighter in his hand into the trash can, not having smoked a single cigarette, then turned and got into the car.
He had already figured out that the highest standing in the Everett family belonged to his little girl and Jocelyn Sterling, while Elliot and the other five were at the very bottom.
As long as Jocelyn agreed to his marriage proposal with the little girl, Elliot and the others would have no choice but to agree!
