Chapter 28: Chapter 28
Abhaya was simply quiet as she ate. She was at dinner business meeting with Hudson. They were meeting a woman, and it was clear that the woman was quite flirting with Hudson. Well, she didn't give a damn if the two fucked in front of her. When she heard Jacky's voice on the other end of the line, she grinned. Outside, Jackylyn was just watching them.
"You appear to be completely engulfed by the sky," she continued, laughing.
She paid no attention to what Jacky said. She secretly rolled her eyes as her gaze was drawn to the woman's hand as it caressed Hudson's arm. It was just a friendly flirtation. Reall? She wanted to laugh. When she received Yx's call, she apologized briefly to them and went out to answer the call. They've been keeping an eye on Hudson for a week now, but no leads have emerged.
"Yx," she started.
"Let's get together later. We need to talk about something important."
"Noted."
Abhaya never returned inside after she hung up the phone. After all, Jackylyn is nearby, and Hudson is impregnable. She shrugged and inhaled deeply. There's nothing Hudson can do about it if it's Hudson's time to die. If it happened, she would only sympathize.
"Hey girl, the woman kissed the Doctor." Jacky said, accompanied by a foul laugh on the other line.
"Let him, even if they do a live sex show," she rolled her eyes once more. "Do you want us to watch together?" she joked as she walked over to Hudson's car, which was parked in the lot.
"Did you ever have a pornographic video with Doctor Hayes before? Please send the link!" she exclaimed, almost breaking her eardrums with her laughter.
"You're a witch!" she exclaimed, rolling her eyes. What she said on the other line made Jackylyn laugh.
She made the decision not to go into the restaurant. She just stares at the young man inside the car, and she thinks her beauty is distracting them. As a result, it is preferable to remain in the Hudson car. She doesn't have a key, but she quickly opened it because she's been a member of the Carnap gang since she became a secret agent, kidding.
Despite the fact that she was in the car, she took a look around. Okay, no problem; she isn't uncomfortable. She closed her eyes for a brief moment, only to be startled by the car door's loud opening and closing.
Done?
She wanted to ask, but she didn't care, so when Hudson started the car, she don't give a damn.
Abhaya received Yx's text that they would meet outside the Hayes mansion around eleven o'clock in the evening. Because she was wearing nighties, she just covered with robe. She was certain that what Yx would say to her would be crucial.
He noticed Yx leaning against the black car's hood. It wore a black leather jacket and a cowboy hat to conceal his identity. Yx is a truly enigmatic individual. She'll admit that she doesn't know much about the man and isn't interested in delving into his mystery; for her, the fact that Yx trusts her and treats her as a friend is enough.
When Yx saw her, he went inside his car.
"Doctor Hayes is planning a trip to Russia. He will not take you there, according to my source, and her flight is a closely guarded secret. He has a business deal there, but there is another reason for him to travel alone. Kienne, I want you to stop him by any means necessary. He is unable to leave. He is unable to leave, got it? By any mean, you are going to use force to stop him."
When she got into the passenger seat, she cringed at what Yx said. It didn't even allow her to say hello. For a brief moment, she was shaken; the man's brain, like hers, was crammed with work. "Can you tell me when he'll be leaving?"
"It'll be quarter to eleven tomorrow night. He is unable to travel because his life is in jeopardy." Yx handed her an envelope.
She accepted it and opened it sluggishly. Hudson will travel to that flight's details and location. "How did you know this?" she asked, casting a glance at Yx.
"I'm not that heartless to let you and Jacky finish this assignment on your own, even though I know you and Jacky are capable of doing so. All I ask is that you make it easier for me because you have another assignment after this."
She smiled and nodded. After all, Yx is always willing to assist his agents in completing their tasks. She knew Yx was ten times better than the rest of them, and she knew his mind was steel.
"That'll do it for tonight; see you later."
She nodded and exited the vehicle without saying goodbye. As the robe deviated from her shoulder, she adjusted it slightly. She went inside after waiting for the man to leave. She did not proceed to her room; instead, she proceeded to the terrace. She would take a deep breath and plan a strategy to stop the young Doctor. By hook or by crook, Yx says, and she must obey its command.
"Are you finished with your man?"
Hudson's voice caught her off guard a little. Because the terrace was dark, she didn't notice the majority of it standing on the other side. She gave a sly grin.
She quickly replied, "Yeah." The plan to hang out in the terrace first did not work out.
She went to her room and decided to just hang out on her bed without saying anything. Why didn't she like Hudson's tone of voice? There was a lot of rage and emphasis on the pronunciation, but she just let it go because she was tired of thinking about it. All she had to consider was how to keep him from leaving the country the next day. Giving him sleeping pills was the first thing that came to mind... Yes!
HUDSON did not drink the coffee she offered her that night, thus her plan to give him sleeping drugs failed. Shit! She put effort into the coffee she made, because she noticed that he enjoys coffee late at night. She glanced at her wristwatch, which indicated that it was only an hour away. She dashed into his room and knocked on the door. By any means necessary! She would simply strike him with a heavy blow to put him to sleep.
Hudson did not show any emotion when he opened the door for her. He is wearing nothing but jeans. She took a swallow and didn't recover quickly enough to deal with Hudson's seductiveness.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Let's talk, Doctor Hayes," she remarked when she regained consciousness and stood up when she met his glances.
"Follow me to the library."
"No!"
It was taken aback by her appearance and looked at her in awe.
"Let's have a conversation here. It's a life-or-death situation."
He shook his head, "Please come in." He walked her inside after turning around.
Abhaya smirked. There was no sound of her hand moving to the young doctor's nape, but Hudson instantly seized her wrist and did something she didn't expect.
"Ms. Trunt, you're moving too slowly," he replied flatly.
Merde! It's a case of hook or crook. She swiftly lifted one hand to strike at him. She could only say one thing: no one except her would emerge from his room alone.
“Ooopss!" Hudson stated flatly, "You missed again, Kianna," as if he only wanted to laugh at her attack. He now has both of her wrists in his grip. Hudson stood in her way.
God! She had forgotten that the person in front of her was not an ordinary person, but she would not be defeated in this situation. She would bring back all of the agony it had brought her previously. She was released after it gave her a good kick. When she saw it flee, she grinned. It's because he places too much faith in her.
"If you're doing this to prevent me from travelling to Russia, believe me when I say it won't work."
"Really?" she exclaimed, hurriedly. This time, she's determined to actually put Hudson to sleep. She made a beeline for the young man's neck.
The young man's response was complete avoidance and constraint; on occasion, he even slipped on the floor, which was not amusing. She launched attacks here and there, but nothing happened. It appears that she will lose. She devised a sound approach. Bullshit! The heinous plan that sprang out of her head. She instantly wiped the gross plan from her mind. She would never do such a thing! She was, however, preparing for her next strike. It immobilized her on one side, preventing her from moving. Hudson used force to stop her this time.
"One move, Kianna, or I'll kiss you." He use warning tone.
Her ears were twitching. Who does he think he is to kiss her? Does he think she'll let him kiss her? If he strive hard enough, it will kiss the marble floor. The gross idea reappeared in her mind; she was afraid to apply it at first, but she had no alternative now.
"Hudson..."
As she seductively called his name, the young doctor was taken aback for a moment. Her face had suddenly cooled down, and her eyes were dimly focused on him, but she had a strong desire to knock him out right now.
"If you think that'll work, you're probably right—"
She crushed herself against the young man, and he felt a tiny reawakening of his manhood as a result of her actions. Shit! She wanted to back out of what she was planning, but she had already begun, so she didn't have the option. She increased her pressure on the man. She just expected her grip on her two hands to lessen, and she was correct; her grip did loosen, allowing her to flee.
She gave it a nice grin and a gentle embrace around the neck. Its feeble breathing could be heard, and she could feel its raging masculinity in her tummy. Shit! Shit! She needs to put an end to it.
"Hudson..." she spoke softly this time, carefully turning her head towards her. She had to squat to reach his lip because she was a little girl. She gave him a little kiss on the cheek. God! She wanted to flee and wash her lips of all that had happened. She abruptly stood up.
On the stand, it stiffened, and his entire face flushed. She wanted to chuckle since she hadn't seen this side of Hudson during her fucking buddy with him era. She is more likely to lure him specifically so that she may carry out her strategy without difficulty.
Her hand reached down to his neck, and she bit her lower lip slightly. Her proud breasts were slightly exposed when her two palms touched Hudson's chest because she was wearing only nighties covered by a robe. Shit! She flushed all of a sudden. His chest was still hard as usual, and it was one of the things that drove her insane. As Hudson stared at her, she noticed Hudson's Adam's apple rise and fall. Hudson didn't respond, but Abhaya had warmed up Hudson's body and made him aroused. Women are the weakest link in any relationship, and they will drag any man down.
"Kianna..."
She gave him a more seductive look. Just see if her strategy works. Her hand slid down to his wailing abs. No! She wants to slap herself in the face. She thinks touching those abs makes her hot. But, before she betrayed herself, she needed to put Hudson to sleep first, then leave the room. She took his hand in hers and dragged him over to the bed. He didn't bother trailing her around like a lost puppy.
"Kianna, I want you..."
Hudson's words made her hair stand on end, but she pretended not to notice. What did it think of her, a fuckable girl? No way. As her body was exposed to the man, she smiled sweetly. She wins once it bites into her plan. She took a seat in the bed. She smiled at her right hemisphere of the brain. It was Hudson's turn once it lay down, so she prepared for what it would do next. She undid her robe and exposed her thin nightgown in a seductive manner.
She teasingly bit her lips and said, "Join me here love." Hudson gradually approaches her to bed. In the back of her mind, she giggled gently. Women are men's Achilles' Heel.
When Hudson got close enough, her two thighs clamped around his waist. She slightly closed her eyes to give the impression that she wasn't planning anything. She also reminded herself several times that Hudson might find out about the plan if she revealed it.
He locked his gaze on her, and she sensed that her earthly body was fighting back. Slowly, his lips approached her, but before his lips could touch her, her hand was raised in the air to deliver a powerful blow to the nape of Hudson's neck, knocking him out.
"Shit!" she screamed as Hudson grabbed her two hands and slid a handcuff across the bed's headboard, which she had no idea where it came from.
He mockingly smiles at her, "You think I'm a fool? Sorry love, I'm not that IDIOT."
“Bullshit! I need to get out of here!”
He sarcastically said, "Later baby," and shook her thigh, which was hugging his waist, but she did not move. She cinched it even tighter. "Don't bother me any longer, Ms. Trunt; you'll regret it later. You probably don't want to put yourself in this situation and claim you until you are unable to walk.”
She quickly removed her thigh and kicked his body in anger. Hudson collapsed on the bed, unable to prepare for what she did. She softly laughed at what she did, but she quickly became serious when he gave her a sidelong glance before heading to the closet. Hudson puts on a black t-shirt and a leather jacket. He wore it with black pants and a sarcastic smile as he looked at her. He walked over to the door, picking up an attaché case from the side table.
“Hudson! Please bring me along. You foolish jerk, your life is in jeopardy?!" she screamed angrily.
It left her inside his huge room, saying, "I accept that as a complement. Prepare my coffin when I return."
"Jacky!" she screamed as all the blood rushed to her head. She calls Jacky on the other end of the line and listens.
"I'm heading to the patio," she says.
Abhaya felt better when she realized her friend was on her way to free her. She had no choice but to follow that man. She'd track him down, break his leg, and then turn the assignment over to Yx after tonight. She'd do it if she could just prepare Hudson's coffin.
When they exited the room, Jacky quickly released her and handed her a gun before heading downstairs. She was relieved to see that Hudson's car had not yet left, and that he was already inside, talking on his cellphone.
"Get going! Get going!" Jacky pushed her away, saying, "We don't have time." She was well aware of what she was implying.
She didn't waste any time and dashed to the back of the car, where she sat quietly in the back compartment. It's great, and she's petite enough to fit in the back compartment.
Through the earrings she was wearing, she heard her friend say, "I'll follow you to the airport."
She felt the car start after a few moments, and it was moving quickly. Hudson was afraid of running fast, right? She chose to ignore it. Stopping Hudson is more important to her. She didn't want Yx to belittle them and Jackylyn by saying they couldn't handle it. Hudson heard gunfire coming from nowhere in the middle of her drive. What the hell is going on?!
"You were followed by three vehicles," Jacky said.
“Shit!" she retorted vehemently. She appeared to want to fight from the back compartment, but she knew what she was planning would be impossible. She could even be the first to perish as a result of the process. They seemed to be moving faster to her.
"Doctor Hayes' vehicle is bulletproof, so don't be worry."
She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Even though she despised him, she didn't want him to die as a result of her mission. Just in case, she'll return the assignment undamaged. When she hears a loud bang on her head, she closes her eyes. Someone tapped them on the back.
"Are you all right?"
"Shoot them now," she said, her head dripping with blood. When she looked at her hand through the lighting on mode bracelet she was wearing, she could clearly see the blood on it.
"We're down to one car."
The car's loud explosion was heard by her. She smiled. In any case, when it comes to fighting, her companion is unavoidable. It's no surprise that this is her favorite pair because it's always reliable. When someone hit them again and the car swerved, she was knocked down. Shit!
"Hold on!"
“Fool! I'm not sure where I'll be able to keep my grip." she said irritably, closing her eyes again when she felt the Hudson connect with another vehicle. She slammed her head against the wall once more. She would not have gone into the back compartment if she had known what was about to happen.
A series of gunshots were heard. They are being fired upon by their foes. She also expressed gratitude to Hudson for bringing a bulletproof vehicle. They wouldn't be in this situation today if it weren't for this jackass Doctor's obstinacy.
“Abhaya? Are you all right? Kienne!”
“Yes! Hudson is our responsibility! Pay attention to him!"
“Okay! Argh! Four armed vehicles are now on their way— Abhaya, you okay? I'm going to shoot— argh!"
“Shit! Jackylyn?" No! She was awakened by the sound of a vehicle crash. She wants to go out, but doing so puts her life in jeopardy. “Jacky! Are you all right? Jackylyn!” However, their line remained unanswered.
She could only hear the sounds of the environment before hearing a tremendous explosion. Abhaya's heart hammered as she prayed for the safety of her friend. Just in case, she couldn't forgive herself.
Then she noticed the car's speed increase. She could hear gunshots and the squeaking of every wheel. It's a race, and Hudson is in the driver's seat. She couldn't do anything except pray that she wouldn't pass out. However, as she felt the automobile swerve multiple times as a result of the powerful impact on them, she was lost in darkness and her forehead was severely bruised.
"Jacky..."
WHEN Abhaya first opened her eyes, she was taken aback. She rubbed her temples and blinked a few times, trying to recall what had happened. When she remembered what had happened, everything came back to her. She was jolted awake from her slumber.
"Hudson!" she exclaimed as she peered around, noticing the young man snoozing next to her.
There were scars on its face and hair, and part of the blood had hardened. As she watched him, she bit her lower lips. She had no idea why or how she ended up in that room; all that mattered to her was that the man was still alive. She examined Hudson's right hand, which was injured and covered with blood. She scowled and reached for his hand, knowing well well that he had just punched a hard wall and that his hand looked like this. She spotted a bandage wrapped around her head and assumed she had a lump on her head.
When she thought of Jacky, she winced. She snatched her necklace and spoke hastily. But there was no Jackylyn on the other end of the telephone to answer the few times she spoke. Abhaya took a deep breath and reminded herself that worrying would not help her, and she knew her friend would not be easily defeated. Jacky is someone she knows and trusts. When the young doctor said, she decided to get out of bed.
"You should get some rest; your body requires it."
She remained silent. She went on, but not before closing her eyes and touching her head. It's excruciating.
"Rest."
She never fought Hudson when he dragged her back to bed. As her head rested on the pillow, her eyelids were weary. That's true, she had to take a break even if it was only for a moment, and she didn't know the darkness had engulfed her once more.
It was dawn when she opened her eyes, and the sunshine was bright, judging by the amount of light that entered the room. She didn't get up right away; instead, she stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before getting up. She was free to move because the man was nowhere to be seen.
She immediately went to the window and stretched. The azure and peaceful water opened up to her just a few meters away. Her eyes widened as she realized what she was seeing: they were in a resort.
She turned around and went outside to find and speak with Hudson. When she noticed Hudson, she was exactly on the last rung of the stairwell. Standing. With a window in the living room, it is dipped and faces the sea. She paused for a minute, her gaze sweeping across his broad shoulder. She sensed a sinister energy engulfing him. It signaled danger, and she felt a pang of anxiety for the first time since she vanished. She elected to remain silent and return upstairs.
"Damn hell, Kianna! What were you thinking?"
She came to a halt and braced herself for the challenge ahead. She was well aware of the implications. "Doctor Hayes, I'm doing my job," she said confidently. Why couldn't she stand the odd rage in its eyes?
"Bullshit!" He screamed obscenities and yanked his phone from his pocket, which was ringing. She lost the young man's attention for a little minute. "I'm fine. Yes, I'm in good shape. Goodbye, Mom, and take care."
