“Ryan, can I go out today? I mean alone? I want to meet Amelia for something” I asked Ryan as he came into the room after cuddling Noel for a long time.

“Why? Don’t go alone Julianna” He spoke with a worried voice. Why is he worried?

“Nothing will happen to me Ryan don’t worry I’ll just meet her and come only for one or two hours” I smiled and jogged towards him as I hugged him. I looked up at his face and saw he was smiling.

“Okay. Call me before you go. I’m going to the office now” I nodded at him and kissed his cheek. After Ryan left I called Amelia,

“Mily, you’re going today?” I asked her but deep inside of me I didn’t want her to leave but I’m angry at that bastard too. It was all his fault.

“Yeah, shall we meet in the cafe beside the royal park?” I heard her broken voice through the phone and I sighed.

“I’ll come now” I changed into a long black wrap-around skirt and black high neck crop top without sleeves. I grabbed my phone and bank card that I used to save my money and went downstairs.

“Mommy, Where are you going?” Noel ran towards me and hugged my legs. I picked him up and kissed his cute cheek and smiled.

“Mommy is going out now. Wait for mommy and play with Winsy okay?” I asked him as he nodded with a happy expression.

“Uncle Haden, I’ll come quickly. Please take care of him for a while” He smiled at me and nodded as I left the house. I went straight to the cafe where Amelia asked me to come and saw she was already there.

“Hey” I sat in front of her and smiled as she looked at me and let out a small smile.

“How’s it? Are you okay with everything?” I asked her and she nodded at me with a smile.

“He asked me to wait for him tonight, he said he’ll take me out for dinner” Amelia looked at me and bit her lower lip. Suddenly her eyes turned moist.

“Amelia, if you stay with him it would be great you know? I’ve heard that Chris never takes a woman out for dinner or any dates. Don’t you think he cares about you?” I explained to her but she just shook her head and wiped her tears.

“Julianna we are impossible and he has women everywhere. Even at night, he received calls. I just don’t want Julianna. Didn’t you see it yesterday? I’m not ready to get hurt because of love.” I sighed and shook my head.

“Alright then, but he will wait for you tonight right?” I asked as she looked at me and nodded.

“When he comes to you and asks, tell him that I left and didn’t tell you the exact place” I watched her for a while and nodded.

“Amelia, take this” I grabbed my bank card out and gave it to her because I know it will be hard for her to stay alone and do everything alone.

“No. Are you crazy? I can’t take this” She looked at me with a shocked face and shook her head with a forceful smile.

“Take this Amelia, You’ll need money in the future. Anyways these are my own money that I saved and if I want money again I can ask it from Ryan. So please take this” I grabbed her hand and put the card in her hand. She hesitated for a while and nodded at me.

“Alright then, call me and tell me about everything.” I smiled at her and said because I didn’t want to miss her like years ago and I wanted to keep our friendship without any disturbances.

“I will... Thank you for everything Juli. Let’s meet again someday” She stood up and hugged me. I nodded at her and hugged her back and watched her leave. Then I heard my phone ringing and I quickly picked up the call. Ryan...

“Come to my office” Before I could say anything he just hung up the call. What the hell is wrong with him? I sighed and took a taxi to go to his office. As I entered the office everyone in there welcomed me with warm smiles.

“Good morning madam. This is the first time you came here” I looked at the middle-aged woman who spoke to me with a smile and I nodded at her.

“Yeah first time. Where is Ryan’s office?” I asked as she quickly led me to the elevator.

“This is the president's elevator. Ma’am, you can use this.” I smiled at her.

“Thank you so much.” With that, I entered the elevator and went to Ryan’s office. As I entered his office I saw the most luxurious office in my eyes. Urghh money… I slowly walked in and saw Chris was there with Ryan. My heart tightened as I saw Chris.

“Oh she’s here” Chris looked at me and smiled. I suddenly felt guilty because I also helped Amelia to leave him. I forcefully smiled at him and nodded as he watched me for a while and stood up.

“I won’t bother you love birds” With that, he left the office. I watched him leave and looked at Ryan who was looking at me without even smiling.

“Why are you looking at him?” What? I frowned at him and walked towards him as I sat in front of him.

“Ryan I just remembered Amelia when I saw him that’s it.” Ryan got up from his chair and came to me. I looked up at him and smiled as he caressed my face.

“Why are you so gorgeous?” I laughed at him because of what he said. Is he crazy all of sudden? Asking me to come here and talk about useless things?

“Ryan, why did you ask me to come here?” I got up from the chair and asked as he quickly hugged me so tightly.

“Just wanted to see your wifey. Let’s go home in a while” I looked at him with a shock. What? In a while?

“Don’t you have work, Ryan?” I asked him as he smiled sweetly at me and shook his head. I sighed and kissed his cheek because I know there was no way for me to go against his words.
