Cascarade Pack no longer exists.

They have been attacking by Rogues but more surprisingly it was not just the Rogues. The hunters were involved too, they have managed to make it through the borders and into the werewolf's realms.

Therefore, the Cascarade has been wiping out completely, I shouldn't care yet I'm drowning inside as there were innocent people and children in that pack.

"Jea has created the barrier then how does the hunter make it through?" Aaron keeps tapping his hand on the desk

"I guess she's not powerful enough," I retort, and Jea slams her hands on the table causing me to jump like I'm scared but really I don't want to be turned into a deer or even worse a caterpillar.

"I thought you have done some practice through your research a month ago,' Eliz wag her tail and hang out her tongue at me. Yeah, she still hates me for kissing Aaron.

"This is unacceptable, I don't know any of the witches back at the mountains who know how to break this," she groans with frustration.

"Maybe you missed a step while creating it," Eric keeps pacing around in the office, then he stops "unless there is a traitor."

Everyone in the room nods with the agreement "and we don't have any clue at all" he rested on a chair near Aaron's desk.

"Sorry Aaron but we're taking leave this instance for my pack, Claire we need to go"

Lucian moves together with them and they hurriedly went straight to their vehicles without their bags or goodbyes. I hate to see them again.

It was night and there was no news from Daluna's pack.

Aaron drops by as usual to check on me before going to his office to discuss business with Conrad.

Eliz wanted to make a run so I decided to do what she wants since we won't be running into Eric again.

We were near the border, Eliz decided to shift into our mundane form.

It's funny how we're hearing things but as we came closer to the end I heard people whispered harshly in low voices. I ask Eliz to mask our scent and move a little closer to a secluded area in the darkness.

"You didn't think I would like you" I heard a male says

"But you say you love me" the female replied.

"I'm sorry but I never like you" I lean in a little bit closer

"It was fun using you, oh how I wished it was Elle. Too bad you're nothing like her. Jea it was fun using you" when he says the name Jea I instantly took another step stealthy as I really wanted to know who was it.

His back was facing me, he looks familiar "too bad you can only bring in 100 hunters through the border" she snarls at him. His hands went straight to her neck "and they won't be able to leave" she struggled to breathe.

He loosens his grip making her choking on the ground

"Why are you doing this?" Jea asks "isn't it obvious I want my mate to be happy, this is for her." She cowers back as he moves forward "yes she's a hunter. Elle and Jay happens to murder her only family but I know they didn't, so we're taking this on everyone"

"by killing your own kind" she hisses at him and he slaps her real hard. I want to help but Eliz holds us back wanting to listen in for more.

"My mate and I will conquer this realm, we'll be the Queen and King" he laughs out haughtily "I despite our kind"

"You're crazy...you psycho" she spat at him.

"Oh, and you did enjoy sleeping with the physio. One night and I was able to bend you and your stupid barrier" he laughs again

"you can't take down the entire barriers, it's fixed even if you kill me" she coughs "I Curse you by the moon-" right, when I move in his hand, was quick enough to rip out her heart.

I halt in my steps he turns around, it can't be. His eyes widen, I was too shocked to move "it can't be" I mumble

"Alpha Zeus."

Eliz took control of my body even though I'm in my human and make us sprint back to the packhouse.

We couldn't mindlink anyone, totally not the Alphas. So we keep on running and look backward that we didn't see where we're going.

We stumble upon a rock and we fell forward only to be rolling down the hill hitting the ground. I couldn't stand up my head was spinning

"Elle"

I heard a voice then hands dragging me don't know who and don't know where we're going.

Thank you again for all your support. I know the book lacks the romance side but I wanted it to be in that way. I want this one to be told in one pov and to be more focused on the protagonist instead of rebounds and other stuff. So thank you again for reading and voting. Oh, I'm thinking of changing the title soon.
