Chapter 85: Chapter 85
ANDREW AND TIA MARRIAGE RENEWAL DAY (BLACK WEDDING)
TIA POV
Oh gosh! It’s finally happening today. I’m so excited for this day that I feel my heart would jump out.
I feel like it’s like the first time we’re getting married to each other. My heart feels at peace knowing Andrew and I are going to take our wedding vows once again and this time around it’s going to be forever until death do us part.
“Honey, Sarah is here to help you out with everything.” I heard my mom yell from the door as Katie rushed to the door to open it.
“Oh, my darling! Look how blushful you are today?” Andrew’s mom said walking inside my room along with my mom and three other women holding makeup boxes.
“Thank you mom.” I beamed with a radiant smile as she gestured to the ladies to drop their boxes and get their other instruments downstairs before walking up to me.
“I’ll make sure you look your very best tonight for your wedding.”
“Thanks mom. I really can’t wait to see how I’ll look. By the way, how’s my husband doing?” I inquired.
I wasn’t allowed to see or make any contact with him since it's all part of their family tradition to keep the couples safe from evil eye.
“He’s fine darling and I must say he really misses you a lot.”
“Awww…. I feel so happy right now. I can’t wait to see him already.” I confessed.
“That’s all you have been saying babe. He’s your man for life and no one is going to take him away from you so stop acting like a baby.” Katie uttered as they all laughed.
“We love each other so much and can’t do without one another. I’m sure when you and Mike have intimacy you will see the connection between you both will be more than what you had ever imagined.” I explained as they all marveled at my words.
“It’s absolutely right but when did you become a professional in love?” My mom asked with narrowed eyes.
“Come on mom. You know I’m not any of that. I’m just telling her that my husband and I bond has grown so strong that nothing can tear us apart.”
“Very well, darling. Katie, I hope you will put in work just like your bestie just made mention.”
“I’ll do that aunt.” She responded smiling.
“Less I forget sweetheart. Have you tried on the gown to see if it fits you?”
“Yes, I did and it fits in perfectly.”
“I had to take my time in making sure the dress doesn’t become too tight for your bump.”
“Thanks mom.”
“Please don’t mention, darling. The moment the ladies are back, they will start the makeup for you and trust me, they’re professionals. They will make you so beautiful today.”
“I really don’t know what to say. I’m really blushing right now.” I covered my face.
“Take it all in, babe. It’s your special day after all. So, you deserve all the sweet words and praise girl.” Katie screamed out and took my hands off my face.
“What are you so shy about Mr Andrew Walton’s bride? Your groom isn’t even here but you keep smiling like he’s here with you.”
“You’re crazy Katie. Get away from me.” I uttered and rushed to the bathroom as they all burst out laughing.
NIGHT
ANDREW POV
“I’m so anxious man. I don’t know if I’ll be able to control myself when I set my eyes on her.”
“Chill buddy. It’s normal for every man to lose control when they see their woman shining like the moon.” Mike assured me.
“You know I didn’t get to see her for two freaky days. I just hope I can bear to keep calm and try not to look crazy in front of everyone.”
“You can control the shit just like you did during the trip at the poolside, remember.”
“Yeah, I got it Mikey. Get me the tie already or we will be late for the wedding.”
“Chill a bit man. It’s just a two hours drive to the venue.”
“I don’t want to miss my wife’s grand arrival.”
“I don’t think so man. It’s just a sign of how badly you’re dying to see her.”
“Whatever dude. I really don’t know why mom picked the beach as the wedding venue and the
“Aunt knows best buddy. She believes in having the wedding in the night when the moon lights are out. She says it’s one of the best romantic moments. You’re indeed lucky bro and you should be happy about it.”
“Get the tie on me so we can get out of this place already.”
“Sure man but it’s just past five, shouldn’t we wait for some time?” He suggested, causing me to give him a deadly glare as warning.
“I got it buddy.” He added and helped me fix the tie.
I checked out myself through the mirror right from my curly black hair to my wristwatch down to the exquisite silky black suit that was made by my mom to my black shining Claudevan shoe.
“You’re perfect, my man. There’s no way my sister-in-law won’t be moved by your looks buddy.”
“I know man. She will be more moved when her eyes lands on me.” I stated with a smile and sprayed one of my most expensive perfumes.
“Since you’re ready to rock, shall we move then, groom to be.” He said with a curtly smile and walked over to the door and opened it but found my dad standing at the door.
“Uncle, when did you get here?”
“Not quite long, Mike. Is that how you’ve always been teasing your cousin?” Dad inquired curiously.
“Yes uncle. It’s more fun to get on his nerves a lot.” Mikey smirked.
“Then I guess I’ve more to learn so I can get on his nerves some other time.” Dad said with a chuckle.
“Is this some kind of a joke, dad?” I asked with disbelief.
“Don’t be surprised son. I need to get on your nerves some time to see your reaction since Mike says it's fun.”
“I’ll definitely skin you alive if you try to teach my dad any of your tricks.” I cautioned Mikey who kept grinning nonstop.
“You will do no such thing Andrew, except you want me to tell your bride you don’t want to go on with the wedding.”
“Dad!” I called out in shock.
“I’m just pulling your legs son.” He said and burst out laughing along with Mike.
“You really got him big time uncle. Didn’t you see how his face went pale instantly? I must say uncle you’re really good without any teachings.” Mikey
“That wasn’t funny dad. You scared me down to earth.” I confessed, putting on a serious look.
“I’m just so happy for you, son. I’m sorry if it got you hard, my boy.”
“It’s cool dad.”
“You’re so cool uncle. You made the almighty king Andrew scared for the first time which I haven’t been able to do.” Mikey uttered bursting out into laughter.
“You little punk!” I called out in anger.
“That’s okay, Andrew. He’s just joking, okay. Let’s head to the wedding venue or we’ll be late.”
“Sure uncle. Let go Mr Groom.” Mikey chuckled and rushed out of the room before I could say another word to him.
He must be thinking he has won, unaware the game isn’t over yet. I’ll make sure I do every means to get on his nerves on his wedding day as well.
