Chapter 83: Chapter 83
ANDREW POV
The hotel wasn’t looking bad at all as we all headed to the various VIP rooms we were to share with our partners.
Tia was really excited when we got inside the room and instantly hopped on the bed feeling the silkiness of the bedcover.
“I can see you’re so excited more than anyone.” I uttered, walking over to the bed to join her.
“Really? I never imagined it would be really visible. I can’t wait to check out the swimming pool from earlier.” She asked in shock and sat up straight while I sat next to her.
“Wait, don’t tell me you’re going to swim in those swimsuits?”
“Yeah, is there a problem with trying out the pool? It’s not like I’m going alone. Katie is also tagging along so you don’t need to be shocked, darling.”
“Listen to me, sunshine. You can’t go out in any of those sexy swimsuits. What if a pervert begins to stalk you or other men stare at your curves?” I confronted her but she just chuckled like I was joking.
“Don’t tell me you’re jealous.”
“You know I’m and I can’t stand any man seeing what’s mine already.”
“It’s not like anyone will hit on me easily. You need to relax sometimes and believe in your woman.”
“Are you sure you won’t let any man stare shamelessly at your body?”
“Trust your woman, baby. You know I’m a badass, right?”
“That’s for sure but you can’t get in the swimming pool since you’re pregnant with our baby. What if something happens to you or the baby?”
“Come on baby. Such a thing will never happen and besides my baby bump is not yet big enough to stop me from getting into the pool. You’re just protective that’s why you feel that way but I promise to be careful.”
“Okay since you insist on going I can’t stop you but like I said don’t let any man stare at what’s mine.”
“I understand Mr Jealousy. I know how to take care of myself and handle such men who try to mess with me.” She grinned.
“I can’t afford to lose you to anyone.” I admitted and grabbed her waist.
“No one will be able to have me so relax your mind, darling.” She smiled and gave me a light peck on the lips.
“I need to take a shower before Katie gets here.” She added and tried to get away from my grip but I pulled her even closer to my firm body.
“Don’t be too quick to rush off like that. Let's have a shower together, after all it will be more fun.”
“I know that’s what you were going to say. Let's have a shower together then.” She smirked which got me turned on and without another word I carried her in a bridal style to the bathroom.
TIA POV
Katie came knocking on the door shortly after Andrew and I came out of the shower so we could both go to the swimming pool.
I was all dressed in the black swimsuit which fits perfectly revealing my curves as Andrew keeps staring at me.
Seeing the looks on his face, I grabbed a scarf and tied it around my waist to close up a bit which brought a smile to his face.
I can’t believe he’s really jealous of having to see any man look at me and approach me, which I find quite romantic and cute.
“Bye darling. I’ll see you later.” I uttered and gave him a long passionate kiss forgetting Katie was still at the door waiting for me.
“I’ll come find you myself when I feel bored alone.”
“You don’t need to do that, baby. You can just stick around with Mike, you know?”
“Okay fine. Have fun and avoid making eye contact with any man.”
“Sure darling.” I chuckled and headed to the door to meet Katie who was already furious.
“I’m sorry babe.” I apologized.
“Let’s just go, okay?” She said and grabbed my hand as we walked through the hallway before getting into the elevator downstairs.
We got to the resort and found a crowd spending some nice time with their loved ones as a male staff member on duty approached us.
“Hello ladies. Your reservation is right this way.” He gestured us to the swimming pool deck where two sun loungers were placed with two mango cocktails servings on a small wooden table in between the sun loungers.
“Don’t hesitate to call on me if you need anything.”
“Sure, we will. Thank you.” Katie answered him as he bowed and left while we lay on the sun lounger before applying sunscreen on our skin.
“Bestie, do you know life feels really good when you have nothing to worry about?” She drawled with a long sigh.
“Yeah babe, mostly when you find your soulmate.”
“Let's make a toss, bestie.”
“Sure babe.” I smiled and took the cocktail.
“Congratulations to us for finally meeting our Mr perfect.” She squeaked as we both tossed our glasses and took a sip.
“I remember how unhappy I was when my father’s company was at the verge of going bankrupt but today no one would ever believe I went through such a phrase in my life.”
“That’s the phrase of life indeed. I’m glad we fought our way through the hardship.”
“Everything is all in the past now.” I smiled and took another sip from my glass.
“Oh, my God! Isn’t that Andrew and Mike from the other end?” She gasped in shock as I looked in the direction and saw he’s really the one.
“How did he follow us down here?” I cross-questioned.
“I could ask you the same. I guess your husband won’t let us enjoy this nice time together.”
“What can I do Katie? He’s afraid of losing me to any man.”
“He’s indeed something else. Few men get to act the way Andrew is doing for you, babe. You’re really a lucky star, my dear bestie.”
“And so are you, Katie. Your man is also with him so we both are lucky stars.”
“Indeed we are. Let’s just pretend we didn’t see them, babe.”
“You read my mind, bestie.” I replied, giggling before making another toss.
