EVENING

TIA POV

I was in the living room watching a movie on TV when Andrew showed up at the door.

“Good evening.” I greeted him but he ignored me totally and headed towards the stairs like I wasn’t there.

I was expecting the cold attitude anyway since we are yet to get along and accept each other as a couple.

I focused on the movie I was watching and after some minutes one of the maids showed up.

“Dinner is ready, ma’am.” She announced.

“Alright. I’ll be right there. Let me go call my husband.”

“Okay ma’am.” She replied and strolled back in the direction of the kitchen.

I got on my feet and headed to the stairs to call Andrew for dinner and also explain myself to him even though Mike told me not to worry about explaining myself.

I just felt the need to come out clean and tell him there is nothing going on between his cousin and I.

I approached his doorstep but couldn’t bring myself to knock on the door without feeling guilty of how he saw me with Mike.

He must be thinking I am cheating on him with his cousin which isn’t the case. Mike and I are only friends.

After contemplating for a short while whether to knock or just find my way by, I decided to knock on the door as I heard a harsh response of approval.

I swallowed hard and gently opened the door to see him shirtless trying to take off his trouser as well.

His abs and muscles are so sexy and tempting to feel with my hands. I wish I could have a touch of his abs especially.

Why do I always find him in such an embarrassing moment? He must be thinking I am spying on him.

“Don’t just stand there staring at me. State your purpose and get out.” He said coldly.

“Erhm… dinner is ready, that's why I came to let you know.”

“Then get out if that’s all.” He stated and took off his trousers, leaving just his shorts on.

I quickly turned my back around as his action really caught me off guard.

“Also, there’s nothing going on with Mike and I. He only offered to take me out for lunch as a friend, nothing else.”

“I never asked you for such an answer. I don’t care what or who you associate with so get out.”

“I just needed to make it clear to you so you won’t feel I am having an affair with him.” I said, sadly.

“That’s your problem so get out.” He stated harshly which pierced through my heart deeply.

I should have taken Mike’s advice in the first place instead of listening to his hurtful words and attitude towards me.

I shut the door quietly and rested my back on the door as the tears I was holding back fell freely down my cheeks.

I won’t give up on changing him. I will make sure he understands Naomi did what she did for her selfish reason and other ladies shouldn’t be classified the same as her.

ANDREW POV

I purposely took my trousers off in other to make her keep drooling more. I just wanted her to know I have all the features Mike has and much more.

She needs to know I have got a lot of stuff Mike doesn't yet she still prefers him over me.

I walked over to the bathroom and took a bath as the incident of Naomi came rushing through my mind.

If it wasn't for the sake of the C.E.O of the company, I would have strangled her to death for showing up her devilish self again.

She's the reason why I can't seem to trust or even get close to any woman. She ruined me and made me feel like a total loser.

Her words really crack the hell out of me. I would really love to see her try to hunt me down this time around. I'll make sure I ruin her instead.

After taking my bath, I settled for a black vest and blue shorts before making my way downstairs for dinner.

I got to the dining room and I found her seated close to my seat with her face looking red and sad.

Did she really cry just because I said those words? She's really a cry baby and too soft unlike other ladies.

I walked over to my seat and didn't utter a single word to her and neither did she.

The maids served the dishes and left while I watched closely at her as she ate slowly.

I guess I must have hurt her feelings that much. I also don't know why I keep acting that way around her. I wish there was a way to apologise to her but my ego can't bring me to do it even if I want to.

She just has to bear it that way and pretend I never said anything to her.

I really felt deeply hurt when I saw her together with Mike. I haven't gotten the opportunity to even take her out or have a proper talk with her and all of a sudden Mike came out of nowhere to steal her from me. I just can't stand there and watch him get really close to her.

I don't care if he's my buddy and cousin. He can't just get close that way with my wife. I will have to stop him from seeing her the easy way or the hard way.

MRS WALTON POV

Mike is really a joy giver and so fun to work with. I really can’t stop praising my nephew with this great work he has been helping me out on.

I really wish I could visit Andrew and Tia at their mansion to see Mike making Andrew jealous in my presence.

I’m sure it's going to be so fun to watch Andrew become jealous seeing his wife and cousin acting like lovers when he should be the one.

He has to learn to let go of the past and embrace the present the hard way.

The next move coming is really going to be a shock to him and he will have to bear it all alone. It’s not like I don’t love my son but for the fact he keeps venting the anger and hurt Naomi caused towards Tia, it really made me want my real son back.

I want the real son who I brought up so well before that little witch used him in fulfilling her goals.

I want my loving, caring and darling son back and I will do whatever it takes to see he finds his real self back.

“Aunt, what are you lost on?” Mike asked, as he brought a cold orange juice to me.

“I’m thinking of the next plan to come up with so we can trigger Andrew’s emotion the most. You know what I mean?” I smiled.

“I do, aunt and I think I have got the best plan to execute.”

“What is it, son?” I asked, eagerly.

“The plan is actually two but the second part will be more exciting.”

“Tell me already.”

“Did I tell you Frank decided to join forces with me?”

“Do you mean the same Frank that works for Andrew?” I inquired in shock.

“Yes aunt. He also wants the union of Tia and Andrew.”

“That’s wonderful. I have always loved that boy from the beginning. So, tell me what the first plan is?”

“Good thinking aunt. Frank told me there will be a ball party organised and Andrew is requested to take Tia along.”

“So, that means you’re going to attend?”

“That’s correct, aunt and you know how it’s going to turn, right?”

“Oh, my God! You’re really a smart-ass Mike. I just hope you don’t get too close to Tia and make Andrew lose his cool.”

“Isn’t that more interesting aunt? I want Andrew’s reaction and I will get it no matter what.” He chuckled.

“Don’t get yourself in bruises.”

“It will be worth it, aunt.”

“You’re really doing a lot for me and I don’t know how to repay you enough.”

"This isn't the time for that, aunt. I can only be pleased with myself when I see Andrew and Tia finally together as a couple."

"That's what I have always wanted and I hope it happens sooner than later."

"It will, aunt. It will." He assured me with a warm smile.

He's such a nice boy. I hope he also finds a good woman who will love him so much for his good nature.
