TIA POV

After some couple of seconds, we both pulled away as I regained my balance once again.

“Always watch where you are going.” He stated.

I was totally shy and embarrassed at the awkward situation as we both stared into each other’s eyes like we were searching for something.

“Thanks.” I mumbled as he didn’t say a word and proceeded to the upstairs while I trailed behind him staring at his back view.

I’m really happy to see he’s concerned about me after all. I was just thinking about him and wasn’t even looking at the direction I was going until I lost my balance.

I was lucky he was close by to catch me, if it wasn't the case, I would have broken my ankle or more.

I walked over to my bedroom and laid on the bed as the thoughts of the incident rushed into my mind.

I’m beginning to fall in love with Andrew. Learning why his attitude is what it is due to Naomi’s attitude, it only made me have a soft spot for me.

I know he’s really a nice and kind man who was misled by Naomi’s bad intentions. I just want him to open up to me and give me a chance to prove myself to him.

MRS WALTON POV

I was so happy Andrew is beginning to see Tia’s real nature unlike misjudging her with Naomi who is, nothing to talk about her.

I really regret ever adopting her as my child. All my love and care towards her was only to ruin me and my family, especially my husband, which I still don’t know why she wanted to see him suffer.

She’s really a fool to come back to ruin us again. I don’t think Andrew will spare one bit because she used him after he showed her nothing but true love as a younger brother will do to his sister.

She took advantage of us when Andrew was out of the country and escaped before Andrew was able to learn of the betrayer.

My son will see to it she’s brought to justice for her evil misdeeds towards our family.

Speaking of Andrew, since he’s finally back to living together with Tia. This is the perfect time to make an awesome move to bring out his real feelings for Tia.

I really made the right move by informing Mike about Andrew and Tia’s unfriendly relationship. I guess our master plan is ready to be executed.

I do hope Andrew is really prepared for it because a lot is going to happen. It's either he bears it or professes his love to Tia and changes his ways.

ANDREW POV

I arrived at the company not too late and took the elevator directly to the conference room to join the meeting with some European investors.

I stepped into the conference room and found the two investors alongside with Frank who got on his feet to welcome me as I walked over to take a seat at the center.

“You’re just in time, sir. They just arrived as well.”

“We have heard a lot about you in business Mr Walton and I must say, you’re really good at it.” One of the gentlemen in his mid-age stated.

“It sure is a gift but hard work was involved in making it a real success.”

“That’s right Mr Walton.”

“I’m sure there’s also a woman behind your success.” The other gentleman asked.

Why do they always think there’s always a woman behind a man's success?

“Mr Walton doesn’t like discussing his personal affairs with anyone.” Frank stated to them.

“I apologize for that, Mr Walton. So, can we talk about the new products?” The man apologized.

“No problem. Frank, show them the products through the projector.”

“Okay sir.” He replied and turned out the lights leaving the projector’s light reflecting through the room.

After settling the deal with the investors I head to my office while Frank sees them off out of the company.

I got to my desk and found the file of our latest investment with an international company.

I’d looked into it before going away but didn’t get to sign the contract yet.

I opened the file and began to have a look at the contract when a knock came on the door.

“Come in Frank.” I ordered, knowing it was him.

He walked in and shut the door behind before strolling towards me.

“They just left sir.” He announced.

“Okay. Are you sure you went through this file?”

“Yes sir. I went through it thrice to be sure there isn’t any compromise in the contract.” He explained and I nodded in response before picking up my pen to sign the document.

I signed the document and handed it to him and asked him to leave afterwards which he did.

The thoughts of how I caught Tia really fast rushed to my mind. I still feel shocked at myself for helping her out when I just want to avoid her in every way.

The more I try to avoid her, the closer I get to her. I don’t understand what to say if she has used her spell on me or I’m actually the one acting that way out of my own will. I really need to figure this whole stuff out.

“Andrew you scumbag, how could you leave the country without any trace.” Mikey stormed from the door looking furious.

“Did you miss me that much?” I grinned.

“Why should I possibly miss you when you have a wife who kept yearning for you?”

“Come over it, buddy. Take a seat and let’s discuss other stuff.”

“I see, you really don’t want us to talk about Tia, right? Do you even know I had to fill in your place when you left” He questioned as his lips curled into a mischievous smile.

“You did what?” I yelled in rage which made him only smile the more.

“You really missed out a lot buddy.”

Is this really some kind of joke or what? Where did I really go wrong to have made him create a bond with my own wife?
