Chapter 20: Chapter 20
TIA POV
I kept staring at my husband from afar in total disbelief as Katie stood right next to me still processing the words my husband said to me.
I had to tell her what he told me. I’m still in shock he didn't turn out to be anyway like ma'am Sarah.
"I can't believe such a handsome man like this can be really devilish from the inside. I'm really feeling bad for you right now, bestie." She uttered in a low tone.
"You really don't have to be, Katie. After all, I brought this upon myself by agreeing to get married in the first place."
"Oh silly girl. What do you mean? I'm sure there's a reason why he said those words to you."
"But why do I have a feeling he isn't in support of this wedding."
"I doubt that. Perhaps, he wants to scare you into thinking he's a bad person."
"I don't think so, Katie. My gut doesn't feel right about him. I just pray he doesn't become a big problem for me in this marriage."
"The best you can do is to avoid him in every way possible." She suggested.
"That's what I will do and I pray his dad will be able to regain consciousness since we're legally married just for his sake."
"Smile girl, your parents are watching us right now." She said my parents with ma'am Sarah all staring at me while I forge a light smile to them.
“Do you think they notice a change in my attitude?” I asked.
“No, they didn’t just keep giving them that smile and everything will be fine.” She assured me as I kept smiling not to make them grow suspicious.
I was really hoping to find my husband to be just like his mom but he just turned out to be the opposite. I just hope I can withstand my new fate.

"Take good care of yourself, sunshine." Dad said, affectionately and pulled me into a warm embrace.
"I’ll be fine, dad. Make sure you look after yourself and mom as well.” I advised, at the edge of breaking down in tears.
“Of course, I will.” He assured me as mom walked over to me with teary eyes.
“I will be fine, mom. You don’t have to cry.” I said to her which made her cry the more.
“I will really miss you so much honey but please, try to check up on us when you’re less busy.”
“I promise I will, mom.” I promised and hugged her.
After a short while, we pulled away as Katie walked to me with a sad face.
"I wish you the very best babe. Don’t forget to keep me posted on how things will turn out between the two of you." She whispered in my ear.
"I will bestie. Take care." I responded as she helped me in getting into the same car with my husband.
"Son, try to be nice to your wife, please." Ma'am Sarah pleaded in a low tone to him and smiled at me.
Instead of giving his mom a reply, he instructed the driver to take off which the driver obeyed.
Isn't this really a nightmare for me? Dear God, save me from anything that will cause me problems in this marriage. Indeed this is really the beginning of a nightmare.
ANDREW POV
Throughout the journey to my mansion, we didn’t say a word to each other but the moment from the kiss we had came running to my head.
I really don’t know what really got into me to have kissed her. At first, my plan was to peck her on the cheek and make it look just like a kiss but my heart did otherwise which I am beginning to doubt if she hasn’t used her spell on me.
I can’t believe I brought myself so low but luckily enough I was able to act like I didn’t feel anything and turned the situation into something interesting.
After the long drive to my mansion, we finally arrived as the car pulled to a spot.
I stepped out of the car without saying a word to her and strolled towards the door.
I’m sure she’s smart enough to know what to do without anyone saying a word to her.
I didn’t bother waiting for her as I headed directly for my room to freshen up and get dressed to leave for the one month business deal I got in China.
TIA POV
I was totally lost and confused on what to do since my husband just left the car without saying a word to me whether to trail after him.
But fortunate enough for me, one of the bodyguards asked me to step out of the car.
“Ma’am, I’m sure Mr Walton didn’t say a word to you, that's why you stayed in the car.” He asked.
“Yes but it's fine. Can you show me how to get inside?”
“I would have loved to help you but it's against Mr Walton’s rules. I can only show you to the door and the rest is up to you.” He explained which made me wonder what type of man I just got married to.
“Okay.” I mouthed as he gestured to me to follow him as I trailed after him with my struggling wedding dress.
The mansion was really massive and beautiful unlike the mansion I met ma’am Sarah in.
“This is my limit, ma’am. You can ask any of the maids you might come across for anything.” He stated as we stopped at the entrance of the mansion.
“Okay. I’m really grateful for this help. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome ma’am.” He replied and left to join his colleagues.
After a short while, I pulled the door open and stepped inside.
I was welcomed by the luxurious interiors of the living room as I found myself admiring everything around.
But after some minutes, a maid showed up and greeted me.
“Good evening ma’am.”
“Good evening. Please, can you show me to my room?” I asked.
“You mean Mr Walton’s bedroom?” She inquired which I nodded in response since we’re officially married.
“This way, please.” She gestured to me as we both headed towards the stairs.
I kept admiring everywhere as we walked past several doors until we stopped at the front of a giant room.
“This is Mr Walton’s bedroom.”
“Thank you.” I replied as she bowed her head and walked away.
I took a long deep breath and gently pulled the door open to see him with only a towel around his waist.
“Get the hell out of my room. I don’t share my room with any bitch so get out!” He yelled as I closed the door, still shocked with his attitude.
I never believed him to be this cold-hearted. Will I really be able to endure all these?
