Ahana Pov

Sid grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him in front of everyone and then imprisoned me in his arms putting his hand on my waist. I widened my eyes, looking at him where he was glancing at me angrily...

I was trying to push him but his grip was getting tighter on my waist. He touched his forehead with mine. my heart started pounding faster. My hand had automatically gone to his chest. I was just looking into his eyes in which love for me is clearly visible. my mind is saying to push him away My heart is wishing that this moment should stop here only. I just wanted to stay in his arms forever, close to him.

"If you want to get angry at me, then you can but never say that we have no relation now. I can't live without you" he mumbled.

"That's why you put my life in danger" I countered back. He didn't reply and kissed my forehead and moved back. I turned my face to the other side when my eyes went on my dad who was looking at both of us. I was about to go to him but again Sid held my hand...

"What's the matter, Captain Sid? I am noticing that you are not allowing Ahana to get close to anyone.. May I know what the reason is?" Dad asked Sid directly. There was no expression on my face. I was just trying to get my hand out of his grip.

If you want to try, do it properly.. You have taken army training, it is not so difficult for you to get rid of your hand from me." He mumbled coming close to my ear. Dad was looking at both of us. I moved my eyes down, Sid was right, if I had to really release my hand, I would have got rid of it. I don't know what is happening, whenever I am with this man, my brain stops working. He released my hand and stood straight.

"Sir.. I am not letting her go close to anyone because she has a poison on her body. Whoever touches him, his hands will also get poisoned and then from his hands, it will go into his mouth, due to which he will die, that too within just 10 minutes." he stated. I looked shockingly at Sid. I was stunned, and didn't know how to react.

"Poison on my body but how and if I have then why was it not affected me?.. I am still alive" I inquired.

"I have put poison on each of your clothes which I have and the poison doesn't affect you and me because when you were sleeping, I injected it's antidote on your body and mine too. Even when Sahil touched you a while back, he too was affected by the poison, but then I applied antidote to him on time that's why he was still alive but I only have limited antidotes, so I told everyone to stay away from you."

I could not understand what to say but I understand why he did not let me get closer to anyone and why was he repeatedly taking me away from dad

"And why did you do this, Captain?" Dad asked him.

"I didn't have any other option, sir. It was very important to execute the plan and when Ahana clearly told me about their intentions I can't risk her life and dignity like that but it doesn't mean that I don't trust his ability. I knew Ahana would protect herself and kill those people and it happened when we reached there, Alexander was in very bad condition. I was just looking at Sid. whatever he said It means he didn't put my life in danger. He had already planned that if Alexander came close to me, he would lose his life. There were tears in my eyes.

"excellent work Captain Sid.. I'm impressed" General said. I was listening to both of them but then suddenly I started feeling dizzy. I grabbed Sid's arms to balance myself. He looked at me.

"I didn't put your life and your dignity in danger Ahana.. You and your respect are much more important to me than my life. I love you Lifeline" He muttered.

I was not able to answer even if I wanted to, I had lost my balance but Sid held me quickly putting his hand on my waist and soon darkness consumed me.

Sid Pov's

"Ahana" I called out her name and tapped on her cheeks but she didn't respond. she had fainted. I picked her up in my arms and carried her to the side and then made her sit on the support of a stone. A soldier came quickly with water. I poured water on his face. she gained little consciousness.

"Ahana" I called her name again..

"Sid" she mumbled...

“I’m here"

She opened her eyes and looked at me but didn't say anything and took her hand away from me and then turned her face to the other side. She was still angry with me and she has a right to be, I have broken her trust again and again. Ahana's dad came and sat near her a little distance .

"Are you ok?" he asked.

"I'm fine dad" she mumbled. I took a relief breath.

"Then why did you suddenly faint?" General asked her.

"I don't know, haven't eaten anything since yesterday, maybe because of this" she muttered

"I'll just bring something to eat," I said. I was about to go to find something but Ahana grabbed my hand.

"I'm fine you get first aid.. your shoulder is bleeding" she said.

"It's a small injury.. don't worry about it, I'm coming with food." I said. She didn't argue further and left my hand. Maybe she was still feeling dizzy. I went to the forest to find something to eat for her.

As I went a little further, I found an apple tree. I quickly came to Ahana with an apple but she was not there. I looked around but she was nowhere. I was just looking for him everywhere when Sahil came to me.

"Where did Ahana go?" I asked.

"she went with her dad.. she didn't stop you from going just so that she can go from here and she has given me a message for you" he muttered.

"What message?"

"She has said that she does want to see your face anymore. That's why she leaves without telling you and she has also said that you should not contact her now because she does not want to have any relation with you anymore." he uttered.

I had tears in my eyes after listening to Sahil. Again my destiny made me alone. Again my love left me and went away for forever. Sahil put his hand on my shoulder.

"I can't live without her.. I can't" I mumbled.

ONE MONTH AFTER

It had been 1 month but Ahana did not contact me even once. She doesn't pick up my phone and even if I go to her house to meet her, she flatly refuses to meet me. Sometimes with her dad and sometimes with the guards, she sent me only one message.

"I don't want to meet you and neither want to see your face. so please stay away from me"

I was sitting next to my daughter Arzoo when she wiped my tears. I didn't even get released when tears felled down from my eyes. I never knew when Ahana became such an important part of my life. I didn't even know when she became the reason for my living.

"Dad" Aarzoo called me. I picked her up in my arms and kissed her lovingly on her forehead.

"Mumma" she whispered pointing towards Ahana's photo frame. I have only photo of Ahana as her memory.

"please Ahana come back.. we can't live without you.. please come back" i mumbled and hugged Aarzoo.

Ahana's Dad Pov

"Ahana" I called her name but she didn't respond.. I went towards her room. She was not there then I went towards the terrace. She was sitting on the swing silently looking at the moon.

"Ahana" again called her name but there was no response. she was so endorsed in her thoughts that she didn't even realise when i stood beside her. It has been 1 month since Ahana got away from Sid but till now she has not been able to move on. She just keeps thinking about him all the time. Neither she smiles nor she cries, just stays silent..

"Ahana" I put my hand on her shoulder. She came to her senses and looked at me.

"Dad, when did you come here?" she asked

"Just came. Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine. What would happen to me?"

"Thinking about Sid?" I asked.

"Please Dad, I don't want to talk about Sid and don't even mention his name" she frowned.

"You don't want to talk about him but keep thinking about him for 24 hours. right?" I replied sarcastically.

"Dad," she grumbled.

"Food is ready, come have dinner"

"I'm not hungry," she replied.

"Looks like Sid's call hasn't come yet.. Waiting for his call?"

"no, why will I wait for his call.. I don't even talk to him"

"But you keep waiting for his call"

"It's nothing like that, Dad"

"Fine, the food is getting cold, come down and I won't listen to your excuses" I commanded. she nodded ok.

we both went down and sit on dining table that's when her phone ring.. a big smile appeared on her face.

"Such a big smile has come, so now talk to him too. He has been calling you for 1 month and comes to meet you but you neither pick up his call nor meet him."

"I'm hungry dad, let's eat" she mumbled and arrange the plate for both of us

"Don't know what's going on in her mind but one thing I'm sure she can't live her life happily without him" I thought
