Sid was sleeping on the other hand Ahana was very hungry. she was about to wake up Sid but he had just slept..

"No.. he has just slept... I myself go to the forest and bring some food for myself and Sid. Haven't eaten anything for two days. I'm starving" she thought And after getting down from the tree, she went out to find something to eat in the forest. That's when her eyes got on the apple tree... she quickly went there.

"Thank god I got something to eat. Otherwise, due to hunger, I would have been dizzy." she mumbled. She was about to climb the tree, when her eyes went down, there was a pen drive at the foot of the tree. She picked up that pen drive. That's when she remembered that when she was going to the village with Sid, both of them were sitting near an apple tree for rest.

"This is the same pen drive which I lost.. It must have fallen when I came here with Sid OMG. this pen drive. Sid just wanted a proof to prove my innocence.. how happy he would be seeing this pen drive.. I should reach to him quickly." she thought and started dancing happily.

Ahana was happy in her own world, then suddenly someone came and hugged her from behind. She was terrified but the very next moment she realized who hugged her like this. There was a smile on her face..

"Sid" She called his name turning his side..

"Where did you go.. When I opened my eyes, you were not there... Do you have any idea how frightened I was" he muttered, hugging her tightly..

"I'm fine" she muttered and broke the hug and cupping his face she continued ""I was starving so I was looking for something to eat.. you know what I" before she could tell him about pen drive he cut her off.

"What was the need of coming alone, would have woke me up or would have waited for me to get up.. but no, you consider yourself to be the queen of Jhansi.. roaming all alone in the forest" he yelled.

"I have travelled alone many times in this forest. '' she rolled her eyes.

"But then your life wasn't in danger Ahana" he scowled, discarding her hand. He was worried for her safety and at the same time he was furious at her because she came without informing him.

she understood that Sid was very upset because of her leaving without telling him, she held both of her ears.

"Sorry," she mumbled. He looked at her. the way she said sorry with such love that he had forgotten all his sullenness. He holds her by the waist and pulls her close to him and kisses her on her forehead.

"I was scared that someone had abducted you or maybe you ran away from me." he muttered. she lovingly puts her hand on Sid's chest on his heart..

"I won't go anywhere leaving you Said.. I love you. I can't live without you.. when I came to know about your truth, then I could not leave you, then how will I leave you now when I know that to what extent you love me

she muttered. He didn't say anything and attached his lips to her. She also started giving him a response. they both were kissing each other passionately..

After a long passionate kiss they parted from each other due to lack of oxygen..

"Please next time don't do that" he said, patting heavily..

"sorry"

"No. It's just that- right now everyone wants to kill you.. and I can't take any risk with your life... Just once I give your innocence proof in headquarters, then I will send you far away from here.. to a safe place" The smile on her face faded away after listening to him.

"Far away from here?"

"yaa far away from here.. because of me you got stuck here.. you had to face all this bloodshed, but not now. I will send you far away from here where even the shadow of these people doesn't fall on you" he mumbled. She was just looking at him, unable to understand how she should react or what to say to him.

"you're starving, right? Wait I'll pluck an apple for you" he muttered and started climbing the tree where opens her fist and looked at Pen drive and then Said. She quickly kept that pen drive in the back pocket of her jeans.

"No.. I can't give this pen drive to Sid.. as soon as he gets the pen drive he will send me far away from here. No.. I will not go anywhere. I have to kill that Alexander.." she came out of her thoughts when Sid called her name. She looked at him.

"catch" he screamed and threw the apple towards Ahana.. she quickly caught the apple.. he broke 4 to 5 apples and threw it towards her and then came down..

"Now let's eat an apple, then we will find something else to eat" he mumbled. she nodded yes. Both had come back to the same place where they had stayed at night. He kept the remaining apple in the bag and after a while both started walking from the north side.. After going a little further, she stopped again.

"Why are we running like this?" she mumbled. He looked at her confusingly .

"I want to talk to you about something," she said.

"yaa"

Before she could say anything, they heard the sound of firing. They both quickly hid behind a tree. He covered her between the tree and him.

"don't move ok" he said and looked in the direction from where the sound came.. Sid's eyes went on the soldier coming from the front.

"My teammates are coming to this side.. Maybe they know we're here.. We have to run away" he muttered and held her hand tightly and ran in another direction near the dense forest..

"But what if they found me? they would kill me.. oh no.. Sid they will kill me.. I don't want to die.. I want to live with you" she panicked. He stopped and looked at her. He could see how petrified she was.

"I don't want to die, Sid. at least not before I kill that bastard Alexander '' she said with hatred in her voice.

"don't worry.. I won't let anything happen to you.... we have to run fast ok.." he said. she nodded yes. They both were running fast in dense forest. The weather was also deteriorating and after a while suddenly it started raining.. both were just running.

After a point she stopped and looked at him. Both were panting heavily and exhausted.

"I'm sorry but now I can't run.. I'm tired" she said while sitting on the stone. Sid sees Ahana's condition, he understood that she was exhausted even though he was panting heavily. He looked around him then started breaking the branches of the tree.. she was just looking at him. She didn't even have strength to get up and help him.

Sid holds Ahana's hand and makes her sit on the tree side. And then he starts arranging bushes, branches and leaves of trees around her and up and down and does exactly what it seems that two or three trees have fallen because of the rain. She was sitting very comfortably and he stood a little far away from Ahana, he was keeping an eye around for Ahana's safety.. she understood that Sid had hidden her so that no one could harm her and he could fight with people without fear.

"Ahana till I say don't come out and not say anything else.. hide inside and sit silently and believe in me.. I will not let anything happen to you" he whispered, sitting on a stone little far from her.

"Bu--but what about you.. for me your life is more imp--important than mine" she stammered, shivering badly.. "Promise me you wo--won't let anything happen to you"

"Ahana"

"Promise me" she yelled.

"ok I promise i will not let anything happen to you as well as I keep myself safe but please now stay quiet" he pleaded.

Ahana doesn't say anything further... She was drenched in all the rain and it was cold in the forest... She was shivering badly. she starts rubbing her own hands and feet, only then Sid said "don't move... I can hear footsteps. don't move or else they will understand that someone is hiding behind trees and bushes." He whispered. She hugged herself. She was feeling cold but as Sid said she was not moving at all.

He was looking around when he saw some soldiers coming from the front. He took out the loaded gun from his backpack and pointed it at the soldiers. At first he noticed their hand which was not tattooed. Sid understood that they were real soldiers.. he lowered his gun and her composure was so stiff no one could guess what was going on his mind.

Those soldiers come to Sid and salute him. He nodded.

"We have got orders sir, to kill that terrorist Ahana and we also have orders that if you try to save her life, then take your life too." one of the soldiers said. Ahana had tears in her eyes after listening to that soldier. She went completely numb.

"And you think I care about that. you want to shoot me you can." Sid replied to the soldier. she panicked after hearing his words, she was about to come out when she heard another soldier.

"we can't shoot you sir.. you're our commander who taught us many things.. we can't shoot you" one soldier replied. she calm down a bit and sit properly and listen the conversation between Sid and their teammates

"I had also taught you people that even if someone is your own and he is against our country, you will kill that person." Sid uttered. Every word raised her heartbeat. She closed her eyes tightly and started praying in her mind.

"Please god save him. It's not even his fault: he's only saving my life.. If you want to take someone's life, take me, just don't let anyone harm my Sid.. please god" she was praying in her mind when she heard a soldier asking about her.

"Sir, do you know where Ahana is? We have got the information, she is with you.. Where is she sir.. hand her over to us"

"Do you see her around me and Do you think I will save her?" Sid asked.

"Yes sir.. we all saw how much you loved her when she got shot."

"ohh but maybe you all didn't see that it was me who shot her, '' Sid replied sarcastically.

"Sir.. please tell us where she is otherwise" the soldier warned him.

"otherwise?" he raised his eyebrow

"We have to shoot you," the soldier said.

Ahana was frightened after listening to the soldiers' warning. Tears were continuously falling down from her eyes, other soldiers had gun pointed Sid...
