Chapter 89: Chapter 89
:::Who Is The Luckiest Person In MystiArt Productions?
“This is surely an auspicious day for Mr. Ju’an. Does anyone think the Arts Department Manager is especially blessed by the heavens?”
“He became a shareholder, and now, he has the liberty to manage two important departments. It is only a matter of time before Mr. Ju’an becomes a prominent figure in this company.”
“Isn’t he a prominent figure already? Everyone has thought highly of the Arts Department’s manager before, and his status just elevated.”
“Mr. Wang’s daughter is lucky. Mr. Ju’an could also be termed as lucky. All in all, we’re all jealous.”
“But what can we do apart from wishing Mr. Ju’an more luck? With Mr. Wang as father-in-law, his success will only be accelerated.”
When the conference was over, the employees spoke about nothing else on the company’s forum but the remarkable things that happened to the Arts Department’s Manager.
Other announcements were also made. And more strategies were introduced, but none of those mattered to them.
They were shocked and also surprised. Added to that, they were overwhelmed by how lucky the Arts Department’s Manager was.
Also, with the thought that MystiArt Productions was going to be a harmonious workplace for all the employees from now on, they were beyond overjoyed.
All in all, MystiArt Productions was buzzing with the employees’ jubilation throughout that day. What they were even afraid of did not happen.
For the first time in many years, no Manager was reprimanded at the general conference. No employee was fired for making noise. And no broken microphones because the HR Department didn’t do their jobs well.
In the end, everything went smoothly.
.
After leaving the washroom, Annie didn’t return to the conference hall but went ahead to the HR Department.
Because every employee was in the conference hall, the girl was able to have some peace and fully focus on what she had been doing on her phone.
Not even a single sound could be heard in the area, and she sat on the chair outside the Manager’s office, basking in the silent atmosphere.
In no time, she was done with typing the letter. She waited for the employees to return, and she took the document to the girl in charge of the printing machines to help her print it out.
“Annie, It is you. Why did you come to the HR Department to print it? Do you perhaps want to see someone?”
The girl tried to look at the document after printing it out, but Annie had already retrieved it and shoved it into her bag.
“Come on, Annie. You could let me see it. Remember we are now friends.” The girl smiled at her, hiding her disappointment.
Annie frowned a bit. The girl looked somehow familiar, but she couldn’t even recall her name.
“So, who are you looking for? Is it the Manager? I’ve heard rumors recently, Annie. Is it true that you’re leaving the Arts Department?” The girl pestered her with questions.
“That is a bit unfortunate, though. The Arts Department is now the most favored in MystiArt Productions. I’m sure Ms. Lin was at the conference. Didn’t you see how…”
The girl trailed off and instantly stopped speaking. Well, she was aware of what happened between Annie, Mr. Wang’s daughter, and also the Arts Department’s Manager.
She had also caught snippets of the recent news about Mr. Wang’s daughter bothering her in the Arts Department. Therefore, she decided to change the topic.
“Annie, why do you look as if you don’t know me? Don’t you remember me from the cafeteria that day? I’m Stacy, the girl who almost got into a fight with Ms. Ju’an- I mean Layla. Remember we’re now friends.”
“Oh.” Annie nodded.
“By the way, I saw the CEO looking in your direction after the conference, Annie. The matter between you and the CEO is really confusing. You’re very beautiful, but no one looks at you the way he does. Is it possible that Ms. Lin must have caught the CEO’s attention, however, he is reluctant?”
Stacy was among the employees with keen eyes for gossip. She also had a thing for the CEO, so she didn’t miss it when he constantly looked in Annie’s direction. Wasn’t that the reason why she had wanted to be friends with Annie in the first place?
“If I were you, Annie, I wouldn’t hesitate to take the first step. The CEO might be a shy person, but no one can overlook his charisma. If you won’t mind, I’ll be ready to help you hook the CEO. Think about the benefits, Annie. Those stupid people won’t even get to bully you anymore.”
Annie looked at her wristwatch. It was almost closing time. From the corners of her eyes, she caught Mr. Zhang’s figure leaving the elevator. She only gave the girl a smile before walking away to meet the Manager.
Stacy stared at Annie’s back. Honestly, she was jealous. Was the girl too shy to approach the CEO? If Annie could be closer to the man, it would be easier for her.
Obviously, she wanted to use their friendship as a stepping stone, but Annie was being uncooperative. Well, she could just hype up the matter. Everyone seemed to have forgotten about the CEO and the damsel anyway.
Picking up her phone, she instantly logged into the company’s forum.

Inside the Manager’s office, Mr. Zhang was so delighted that he couldn’t even speak for a while.
Seeing this girl come to him by herself, would his wish finally be fulfilled? She was considering joining the HR Department, right?
“M-Ms. Lin, Please have a seat. What can I get you? Would you like some water?”
“I’m not here to stay long, Mr. Zhang.” The girl gave him a blank look and brought a document out of her bag. “I’m here to hand in my resignation.”
