Chapter 159: Chapter 159

The news spread like wildfire in the company’s forum. Before the work hours were over, every employee in MystiArt Productions knew about the chaos that ensued in the CEO’s area.

Some found it hard to believe, and a lot of them scolded the employee who posted it under an anonymous name.

Fortunately, that employee had secretly recorded it and she posted it on the forum. Who else would it be apart from one of the CEO’s secretaries?

“Eh? What am I seeing? So it’s the truth.”

“I can’t believe it. Pinch me! I’m dreaming.”

“Mr. Wang’s daughter has taken it far by throwing her tantrums in the CEO’s area. But who would have thought that girl would ever get fired in this company?”

“Ha! Is it true that Mr. Wang’s wings have been cut off? I heard rumors about what happened in the meeting.”

“It is not even a question anymore. You have seen it for yourself. The obvious proof is that his daughter has been specifically fired by the great CEO.”

“So the CEO isn’t a pawn in their hands after all. As expected of the emperor, he observes justice among his subjects.”

“But this is strange. People said the CEO almost took down the building on seeing the bullied employee.”

“The employee in question is none other than the damsel.”

“Isn’t it strange? Is the rumor about the damsel and the emperor actually true?”

“Who cares about the rumor? I wonder if anyone else is happy that the bratty daughter of Mr. Wang will leave this company.”

“Who isn’t happy? In fact, I’m going to celebrate it. We have been afraid for nothing all this while. So Mr. Wang isn’t someone to be feared after all.”

“As for the former CEO, now we all know the truth. Our CEO doesn’t follow anyone’s command.”

“As for the damsel…”

“What about her?”

“Well, what else can I say? I just hope everyone takes this as a lesson. The CEO has continuously protected the damsel, what else do you think?”

“Ah! I would like to believe that the CEO is only observing justice among his employees.”

“Since he assumed his position, he promised that every employee shall be treated fairly. Mr. Wang was thinking too far.”

“And to think that they almost made the damsel lose her job. Isn’t karma too cruel?”

“Their repercussions came earlier than anticipated. Ah, the heavens surely do not tolerate the evil-doers.”

If the employees could listen carefully, the huge sighs of relief that echoed in the Arts Department could be heard even from the department on the next floor.

Contrary to the other employees’ mixed feelings, the Arts Department’s employees were in high jubilation.

“My fiance proposed to me last week, but I have to say I wasn’t as happy as I am at the moment.”

“Gosh! Isn’t this awesome? Finally, MystiArt Productions will be freed from Mr. Wang’s tyranny.”

“And we all thought Mr. Wang called all the shots. Bah! What a stupid deception. Our CEO is the best. Why didn’t we think that he would never associate with those kinds of people?”

“Mia, didn’t you worship her before?”

“Come on, cut it out! I hate that girl more than anything. I wish she could rot in that jail.”

“She has bullied Annie too much, pushing her to even leave the Arts Department. Poor Annie, people said the slap was so fierce that her cheek got disfigured.”

“I didn’t know Priscilla was that heartless. I hope she recovers soon.”

“What are you talking about? Annie’s beauty is as good as gone. I think Priscilla got her wish, sadly, she got fired too.”

“Isn’t this your happiest day, Sabrina? Haha! Not a day goes by without that bitch bullying you. I wonder if you will join the party.”

Sabrina sighed from her cubicle. While the other employees gossiped and laughed, the girl appeared a bit gloomy.

“You are right. Priscilla deserves her punishment. I just hope this will make her realize that it’s not good to bully others.”

“Tsk tsk tsk, you’re so softhearted, Sabrina.”

“I hope she will keep on with her bad deeds so her repercussions will always be bigger than the last one.”

“You have the mind to pity that girl. Hasn’t she slapped you several times in the past? I can remember this morning, she almost pulled your hair out.”

“Enough talking to Sabrina. Guys, how about we bid her a good farewell? I think that’s a good idea.”

With that said, the guy picked up his tablet and logged into the company’s forum. Under an anonymous name, he made a post.

::: To Mr. Wang’s Daughter.

[Priscilla, you deserve more than being fired and thrown in jail. Because you’re bratty, you think you’re above everyone. Didn’t you snatch the Arts Department’s Manager from Ms. Lin? You chased her out of the Arts Department, yet, you weren’t contented. Poor Ms. Lin… It is good that the CEO is an upright man. Not even your father will save you! Not even the so-called former CEO.”

At that announcement, the forum exploded with comments once more.

Mr. Wang’s eyes looked as if they would bulge out as his eyes went through the news. The man was sitting inside his car and he held his chest and coughed rapidly.

His assistant, who was driving him home, quickly parked the car in a corner then ran to the nearby convenience store and returned with a bottle of water.

“Mr. Wang, are you alright?” He met the man looking as if he was having a heart attack and he helped him drink the water.

“My princess. My baby girl! How dare they do that to her!?” The man looked out of his mind and the car shook with his voice.

“What is happening?” The driver stared at him in confusion.

Mr. Wang didn’t answer him. He threw the tablet aside and grappled for his phone then dialed a number. At the first ring, the call was answered from the other end.

“Where the hell are you!?” He bellowed at the other person.

“Father-in-law-“

“Don’t call me that!”

“We’re at the police station.”
