Adrianna POV.

"Gosh, I am so sleepy," Ivy exclaimed while we were watching a movie to kill time.

"Then why don't you just go to bed?" I asked out of sympathy as I looked at her.

"Have you forgotten that we are waiting for feedback?" she asked as I roll my eyes.

"Who said that I did? You can decide to go to bed and you would be woken up by the ringtone while he calls," I said.

After some minutes I turned back at her and said, "or, since you are a computer expert, why don't you hack into the Russians mafia premises and find out for yourself?"

"You are definitely a genius. Why didn't I think of such a thing earlier?I would have avoided staying here for more than five hours while waiting," she said.

"Okay, let us go and see," I said as I stood up since I also wanted to see what happened.

"It seems that you are just a hypocrite. You were pretending that you aren't sleepy yet you are," she said.

"I have a lot of work to do but I can't do it till I know what happened. Whether he succeeded or not," I said.

"Okay."

When we got to her study room and typing vigorously on the keyboard, the scene started playing on the screen. It then took us awhile to know where the party was taking place and hack into the surveillance.

"Let us see whether we have succeeded or not," she said as she pressed the enter key.

Later on, we saw people holding empty glasses of wines.

"Guess by the empty flute glasses, the party has just been initiated and they have all drank the wine," she said making me nod my head in agreement.

"We have to wait for twenty minutes to see what will happen," I said as I walked away from the desk and towards the door.

"Aren't you going to wait?" she asked curiously.

"I am. Am going to see Jassy," I said as I closed the door.

After seeing the little one sleeping, I walked to my study room and opened a certain laptop at the corner. I waited for some minutes till the other person joined me.

"Aunty, did you have to call at the wrong time? We were having dinner," the person said.

"How have you been little kid," I said.

'I am not a kid anymore, aunt. Aunt, when will you be coming back? he asked with a lot of sadness in his tone.

"If whatever am doing succeeds then maybe I will come by the end of this week but if it doesn't then you will have to wait a little longer for me," I said.

"We all miss you," he said trying his best not to cry.

"I know and I miss you all too. I hope that everyone is fine," I said trying not to sound so concerned about them but I knew deep down that I was.

We talked for some minutes and I was in a better mood than I was. This kid knew how to make me smile and laugh and I guess that's the reason as to why I love him so much.

"Let me confirm something, give me five to ten minutes then I will get back to you afterwards. You may go downstairs and finish eating if you had not then we will talk later on," I said.

"Okay aunty. Hope you will keep your promise that you will talk to me later," he said making me smile widely.

"I will," I said then shut the computer.

I walked out of the room and went to Ivy's study room.

"Any good news?" I asked immediately I walked in.

"Everyone who was in the ballroom is dead. He has confirmed it. I am just confirming whether there is any living being left in the premises," she said without even looking at me.

"Okay, inform me when you are done," I said as I sat on the couch.

Fifteen minutes later, I heard a sigh and I looked up. "Whats up?" I asked.

"Its done," she said. "Our nightmare over."

"Has he left the premises?" I asked since I didn't want to loose such an employee.

"Yes, he already did and I have already deleted every footage that he is seen," she said.

"Good," I said.

Entering my study room, I felt guilty since I knew that I had extended the time that I had told the little boy.

"Aunty, you are seven minutes late," he said immediately I switched on the laptop.

"Sorry, I have something to ask you," I said as I looked at him.

"What is it aunt?" he asked while his curious eyes looked at me making me chuckle.

"Go and tell your uncle that I want to talk to him now," I said.

"Okay," he said after some seconds.

"You want to talk to me? Tell me where you are and I will pick you up," Ace said immediately he came to the screen.

"Why?" I asked since I couldn't understand why he wasn't mad. Maybe he is pretending not to be!

"I miss you. Despite the fact that I know that you are related to Elijah and people think that you are helping him, I trust you. I believe you," he said and I found myself shedding tears as I looked at the man in front of me. I could tell that he thinner than he was and from the dark spots around the eyes, I knew that he hasn't been sleeping well. I felt guilty since I knew that all that was my fault.

"He is dead," I murmured but I could tell from his face that he heard what I said clearly.

"What? How?" he asked in disbelief.

"He died some few minutes ago. Ivy has confirmed it. We have killed his entire family and his trusted subordinated," I said.

"Then what will happen to the mafia? We can't allow just anyone to take over it," he said and I nodded.

"The mafia was supposed to be Victor's but we don't know what happened that caused it to fall in Elijah's hands and the fall out between the two brothers. We never knew that they were related till the day the president gave out that speech. Ivy and I had always wanted to wipe it out but Victor asked us to promise him that we won't do it but now that he is dead, we did it. Today, we found out that Ivy is his biological daughter so the throne will go to its rightful owner. We won't have to worry about anything after today cause even the remaining men are weak and fearful," I told him.

"That's good. At least will be able to live in peace," I said, making me nod.

"Why did you leave and when do you plan coming back or you have decided that you won't?" he asked after some moments of silences.

"When I left, I wanted sometime alone to think about us. The way forward but..." I kept quiet cause I didn't know how I was supposed to tell him about Jasmine.

"But what?" he asked and I raised my head and I looked at him in his eyes.

" I found that I was pregnant," I murmured. Shock was written all over his face and I closed my eyes before continuing to talk since I was afraid of what he will say. "I wanted to tell you but later I found that it was risky since you had started receiving threats from Elijah. After giving back, I wanted to at least tell you about it even if I wasn't going back to our place but then someone told you where we were and that's when Ivy and I realised that there was a mole in our organisation so we opted to run away till we find out who was the mole and whom he was working for. Today we found him and also found out that the guy whom Victor had taken in was Elijah's son and he was going after Ivy and I since he wanted the organisation. After finding out, we planned how to get rid of them and I promised myself that when the plan works and the danger is over, I will tell you everything."

"You said you were pregnant? and you gave birth? Is it a girl or a boy?" he asked immediately I stopped talking.

"A girl, I named her Hope Jasmine Vincenzo," I said and I saw a smile form on his lips.

"Are you planning to come back?" he said his eyes full of hope that I would say yes and it made me feel how much he already loved his daughter whom he had never met.

Nodding my head I said, " We are in America. Come for us."

"Am on my way, he said as he stood up and leaving making me laugh since he didn't even wait for the exact location of where we were.

The next day!

"Who the hell is waking me up? Does he or her know that I slept so late yesterday?" I was woken up by Ivy's shouting.

Getting out of bed, I walked to the window and saw the intruders. I smiled as I walked to Jasmine's cot and picked her up since she was already awake and she would end up crying if I got out of the room leaving her behind.

I halted as I got the living room and saw the people present.

Smiling I looked at Jassy, " Baby, look there is your dada," I said.

"Who did they find us?" Ivy asked beside me.

"I told him yesterday before going to bed. The danger is over so the father and daughter can be united peacefully and happily.

"Da...da...," Jassy said as she clapped her hands then raised them up gesturing Ace to pick her up.

I looked at Ace and saw him crying.

"Ma..ma, da...da, cr...y," Jassy said as she panicked wondering why her father was crying.

I smiled at both of them and walked towards Ace. Jassy brought her tiny her hands to his face and wiped his tears making Ace look at her then smiled. "My little baby girl, my angel," he said as he picked her up then gave me a kiss.

"We will never be separated from today," he said as he hugged us.

"Never again," I said as I laid on his chest.
