Third POV.

"Dad, why did you send someone to call me here?" a young man asked as he walked in.

"How is everything at the organisation?" the old man seated behind the desk asked.

"Everything is fine," he said after a few minutes of silence.

"Why were you silent? Don't tell me that you are thinking about going against me just the way your uncle did. You better do what I ask for you. We both know that you aren't my only child so I can decide anyone to take the position from me when I am ready to retire," he warned.

"But dad, haven't I always done what you ask of me? Now you are telling me that you are changing your decision about me been the leader?" The young man asked loudly. Anger evident in his tone.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me, young man. You better remember who you are talking to! I am your father!" Elijah snapped.

"Don't give me that bullshit. You are just a greedy old man who only wants a big piece of a pie that he can get his hands own. May I should remind you that it was Victor who raised me. You abandon mother and I on the streets cause your mistress came from a rich family which could finance you," the man said while smiling.

Hearing this, Elijah was taken back to the old days where he did everything for greed. He killed his father who used to tortured him and his brother and forced them into having sex with women of all age. The man was greedy that he didn't want to retire from his position as the Russian mafia don. He remembered how James, Lorenzo and Ace were his friends without knowing that he was a spy sent by his father to befriend them. He remembered how he broke their trust and turned them into his enemies after they helped him dethrone his father just because he saw that they were more prosperous and powerful than him. He hated doing dirty work but because of greed and desire to be more powerful than them, he engaged in illegal business and even human trafficking. Thinking of this, he felt pain on his chest but later shook it off since he knew what what supposed of him.

"You are everyone's enemy, dad. I am the only one on your side and you know it," the young man spoke when he saw his father lost in thoughts and he didn't know what the old man was thinking about.

"You talk of I been greed and you forget that you are just like me, son. Isn't that the reason as to why you tried getting rid of your so called childhood friends or should I say sisters?" Elijah said with a smirk on his face.

"I wish that uncle didn't take them from the streets. I have always thought that they didn't pose any threat to me. That uncle will leave the organisation to be but he left it to those two stupid homeless girls," the guy said.

"And here I thought that you are the most clever to all my children but it turns our that you are just as stupid as they are," Elijah said.

"Why are you comparing me to those bastards?" the man asked angrily making Elijah chuckle.

"Max, you are stupid. Did you always think that Victor didn't know who you are? That you are my son that he will leave everything to you? He had always known who you are. In fact, that was the reason he took you from the streets, it was because he couldn't see his nephew dying of hunger on the streets," Elijah said.

"Then that's more reason to leave everything to me. I am his family but those bastards aren't," Max snapped.

Shaking his head, Elijah said, " He knows that I was ordering you. How could he let his hard work to fall in my hands when I refused to share everything I have with him in past? We may be related by blood but we were always enemies. Furthermore, do you think that he would just leave everything he owes to those girls without a reason?"

"There is no reason, dad. It just that he loves them so much and they are a good fuck that he left everything behind," Max said.

"What? I never expected that he didn't stop the old behaviors."

"Which old behaviors are you talking about dad?" Max asked out of curiosity.

"Fucking young girls."

"Why do you think Adrianna killed him dad? She found out that he had raped some under age girls she had brought in the organisation," Max told his father with a grin on his face as if he was so proud of knowing the reason Victor was killed when his father didn't know anything.

"Anyways, you are wrong, Ivy is his biological daughter. Her mother was pregnant when she found out that Victor was the son to the Russian mafia leader. Out of fear and anger, she ran away. Later dad discovered it and said that none of his grandchildren will be from poor background women, so he sent someone to kill the woman. Luckily, her mother already knew that her child and she were in danger therefore, after giving birth, she left the child in the children's home and sent your uncle a letter telling him the address and asked give just to take the child after dad is dead. That was one of the reason why we killed that old man," Elijah explained.

Max was so shocked at the revelation. Hearing the explanation, he understood why his father abandon them when he was small.

"But why did he leave somethings to Adrianna?" he asked.

"Ivy sees Adrianna as her sister thus to him, they were both his children. After all, if it wasn't for Adrianna, Ivy would have been dead already," Elijah said.

"We need to have that organisation in our hands so that we can defeat Ace and his so called friends. I have already caused a misunderstanding between him and Adrianna therefore, we need to hurry before he finds out that that was our plan."

"What plan are you talking about, dad?" Max asked but he had a voice on the Tv, turning his attention to it.

"The city and nation is becoming so unsafe for children and women walking at the streets. I feel like a failure cause I have completely failed to provide the citizens with adequate security and protect them from been kidnapped and sold. I as the president of this nation, I have done my best to provide security and get rid of the mobs but I have been proved wrong to date. I have discovered that due to the amount of money offered by the mobs, most of the people in the national security and also the leaders who are extremely corrupt, there is an increase in the illegal activities that is going now. Victor Valdamir was one of the people that made sure that the streets are safe for each and every human being but unfortunately, he is no longer here with us anymore. May his soul rest in peace. He had fought endlessly with his brother but it seems that only the good people perish. Even though that what I have just said is totally discouraging, I am here today not to even address the nation but to get to someone through this speech. Victor had two children whom were always by his side to safeguard the rights of indiduals in different countries. I have tried reaching out but I am unable to get through you. It is believed that his eldest child was the one who killed him when got the information about the father's evil deeds. As a being who had stayed with a lot of people, the child understood the pain and suffering an indidual goes through. Even though, they are both ruthless, they are all kind and caring to the innocent. That, I have witnessed it and I know that some of the mafia leaders in other nations have witnessed too. "We have all been witnessing what has been going on in that country and its so heartbreaking. Even though I don't know whom the president is trying to reach out, I really hope they do cause you never know what will happen to you or your family soon. "Dad, didn't you give the government that information so that the mafias may think that Adrianna is working with us and lied to them?" Max asked with disbelief.

"Yes, I did. Now all we need is to hurry up," Elijah said.

Hearing that, Max kept quiet. He just hoped that everything goes as planned since he knew those two women and they are really devil in disguise and he knew that now they have seen their image has been ruined, they won't be merciful. They will more ruthless and he knew that they could defeat the whole Russian mafia even without help from other mafias. His father underestimated them but he couldn't tell him that cause the old man would just think that I am just jealous or even better, a coward to face only two 'weak' women.
