Adrianna POV.

It was a long drive and I knew better than to get bored on a long drive not only that but also the fact I was going on a so-called mission. I turned the music on so as to kill boredom.

After a two hour drive, I arrived at the plot where they were located. I knew that I had to be careful not to alert anyone that I was in the area. I parked my car in the woods and far from where they were being held captive. I took my weapon back and started walking in the direction of the house.

Shit!

I forgot to wear my costume. I searched for it in the bag and luckily it was there. I hid behind a tree and wore it. After that, I proceeded on going where I was going. The house came into view and I used binoculars so that I could see how men were there. Twenty men outside and ten inside. I took my guns and daggers, tucking them on my costume. I then carried more with my hand. I left my hand somewhere no one would see it. On a tree top. I knew that I had no time, therefore, I ran towards the direction as fast as I could.

"Ire, why don't you take the men down who are outside for me?" I said after pressing the watch button.

"Sure Adrianna," he said.

I stood in a nearby tree, smoking my weed as I watched them.fall down one by one. After they were all down, I threw my weed and walked towards the compound. I needed to be careful even though most of his men were dead.

I walked close to every house, hoping that I would hear noise. After a while with no success, I remembered which house was highly guaranteed and I went into its direction. They mean that no one has seen me yet? I walked into the house and killed the two men who were at the door post with a silencer. I walked around the house, killed whoever walked in my way. When I got to the top floor, I had not seen the hostages.

Tell me that that man was not lying!

I just hope that this is not a trap.

I fucked my gun back to its place and walked downstairs. When I was nearly going to get the house, I heard some noises coming from the corner of the floor. I followed the noise and opened the door. There were stairs leading to the underground basement.

Why didn't I think about that a long time ago?

Pulling my gun out, I walked down there and the place was filled with cells which were also full of women and kids. Unfortunately for me, Elijah was not present. I walked to the first cell which I saw was filled with women and opened it but stepped backwards and it hurted my heart.

"Hei, I am not one of them. I am here to rescue all of you. So don't be afraid," I told them and some of them.believed me and they looked relieved.

I opened the door cell for them.

"Can you help me to open the doors for the young ones?" I asked them softly and they nodded their heads.

"Good. Let me start from the other end with you guys, start from this end," I said and walked past them to where I was supposed to rescue the others.

After fifteen minutes, we were all done.

"Follow me and please don't make any sound," I told them.and they nodded their heads.

"Ire, is there anyone outside," I asked.

"No one who I can see," he said.

"Are the cars here?" I asked.

"Yes, they are!" He said.

I walked out of the house carefully in case someone was hiding himself. When we were outside, I saw Max and the team already there with cars.

"So girls, you will travel in those cars. They will all take you to the city then I hope everyone knows their home from the city," I said.

"How did we know that we can trust you?" A woman asked.

"Ooh you should, since I have taken my precious little time to rescue you all. Furthermore, if you look around, each and every man who was in charge of protecting this place is down," I said. I really have a bad feeling.

"Let the youngsters first go," I said. When they were all in the car, I let the left go in. I took the binoculars and saw some of Elijah's cars were coming in this direction.

"Shit! Hurry up, they are coming," I whispered-yelled and they hurriedly entered the cars.

"Max, use the other direction," I told him and he nodded." Ire, please go with them so that you can protect them."

"I am sorry, Adrianna but I was given strict orders not to leave you.

"Just go, I can protect myself. They need you more than I need you," I said.

"Okay, Adrianna," he said in a low voice.

I stood in the darkness as I watched all of them leave. Immediately they were nowhere to be seen even by the binoculars, Elijah's men walked in. I had already counted them and they were twenty men.

I waited patiently until they were all out of their cars. I pulled my gun out and started shooting at them. They tried to locate who was shooting at them but they couldn't since I was hiding. One thing about my killing is that I don't shoot to injure, I shoot to kill. A bullet was shot at me but I dodged making it past me. I continued shooting at them until the gun had no bullets left.

Guess I am using a dagger now.

I looked around and saw that there were only five remaining. I ran towards them and threw a dagger at each of them. They had no time to charge or escape because I caught them by surprise. The daggers went straight to their hearts making them fall down. After making sure that all of them were dead. I walked towards the woods where I had left my car. When I got to where my bag was, I removed my costume and kept it in the bag. As I was walking, I heard cars getting closer and closer.

Shit!

I thought that they were all dead or at least not coming again. I looked closely and saw the car's mark. The cars belonged to the Italian Mafia. There was no way I was going to let them see me. Therefore, I walked hurriedly towards my car. When I walked closer, I saw some men watching over my car. I knew that if I was getting caught, I couldn't let them know that I was The Poison at least, so I threw the bag away from me and where they could not see it but not after making sure that my gun was filled with bullets. The only thing that will make me get caught is that I can't kill the Italian Mafia men. That would be declaring war on myself and I didn't want to.

I walked a far distance but I could still see them. I lit my weed and started smoking. I laid down looking at the sky and closed my eyes. I let the cold breeze and the weed smoke get into my nose. I heard my airpods with me so I was also listening to music. I just hope that they go away so that I can leave this stupid place. After half an hour of waiting and they were still in the same place, I took my phone and started playing Candy crush. You really can't blame me for being bored. The longer they stay there, the more I want to kill them. I wish I was here, I would have told them to get rid of the car from them by automatically driving it. But I was so generous that I don't have a backup. I could see Ivy calling but I did not want to answer her. If I did, I would worry her so much.

I guess it is the high time I had my little fun. I used the binoculars to locate where Ace was. When I was where he was, I walked in that direction.

"Hello Vincenzo," I said when I got closer.

I knew this was a dumb move cause it will only make me get caught but at this time, I didn't care at all. He looked behind and saw me. He was alone.

"Adrianna, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"What are you also doing here?" I asked with a smirk.

He let out a sigh but nonetheless, he answered my question, " I was given this direction and told there were hostages who Elijah had."

I nodded my head.

"Now tell me Adrianna, what are you doing here?" He asked once more.

"There are no hostages here," I said with a smirk.

"I don't believe you," he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Then sort yourself," I said.

"Sir, there are no hostages but it seems that they had been there for a while," Bob said as he came into view.

"I hate you to do this to you bellisima but I have no other choice, you will tell us where the hostages are," he said. After he said that, I felt something making contact with my skin.

"You….you dru…dru…gged….me," I shattered before my eyes became heavy and all I could see was darkness.
