Chapter 55: Chapter 55
CHAPTER 55
DANIEL
He kept looking at the door of the small but averagely expensive restaurant, that he had rented for the date today.
His date with Ariel.
Damn!
He couldn’t believe that she had actually agreed to go on a date with him.
He still remembered how she had called him on the phone, and after much persuasion, despite her flimsy excuses she had agreed to go on the date with him.
He had wanted it to be the weekend, but for reasons best known to her she had choosed today being Friday, and well he had obliged her.
He was doing everything possible to win her heart, and if she wanted things to be fine in her way the who was he to decline.
He just had to make her his
Ever since she had stepped in their supermarket months back, then she’d gotten the job working besides him every day, she had been his mentally.
Days at work during those days were excruciatingly painful because he just couldn’t take his eyes of her.
Despite the fact that she never engaged in small talks with him, always brushing off his attempts whenever he tried to talk with her, deep down he knew that she did like him.
He had caught her staring at him times without number, and when he called her out on it, she would feign a cheap lie, but not without him seeing an embarrassing blush that would cover her cheeks.
He knew he had that effect on her.
What was keeping her late today though? He asked no one but himself.
He looked at his wristwatch, and it was almost 40 minutes past the time they were supposed to meet, and he had actually been here 10 minutes early.
If it were on another circumstance, or another person he would have been angry, but it was Ariel, and he would do anything for her, go through all this, endure anything just to make sure he got what he wanted.
Just when he was about to loose hope, wiping at his forehead furiously, the door to the restaurant swung open and there she stood.
She was breathing heavily, as if she had ran all the way here.
Did something happen on the way here, that had her breathing erratically.
He was worried, and on impulse he stood up and waved quickly so she would locate him very fast.
As soon as she saw him, she gave him a wide shy smile and began to walk over to where he was.
Dang it! She was so beautiful.
If this was what his friend Christian had felt the first time he had seen Sara his girlfriend, or anytime they saw each other then fuck it, but he didn’t want this feeling to stop.
The hell!
She was dressed in cut out jeans, a black tank top, a face cap, with her full length hair splayed down her back, glossy lips that shined, and little make-up but still she looked gorgeous.
More than gorgeous, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
With an exception of his mother though, at the thought he laughed, but he was being honest to himself.
She was so beautiful.
How could someone be so pretty as this.
Every day he saw her, her beauty never changed but it felt as if her beauty increased everyday.
“Hello Danny.” She called out and smiled, showing that perfect beautiful set of teeths she had.
For a minute he was lost for words, he didn’t even know what to say to her, or how to reply, he was enthralled by her shining beauty.
“Hello…” He heard her say again, this time she was standing right in front of him, waving her hands and he snapped out of his thoughts.
“Oh my goodness. Ariel you look beautiful.” He said sharply, words failing him and he sighed internally frustrated.
Was this the first thing he was supposed to say?
Wasn’t he supposed to greet her first?
Here he was checking her out, and telling her how beautiful she looked… Damn he must look like a fool.
As expected Ariel just rolled her eyes, not even acknowledging his compliments and she began to sit down.
Here he was failing at the first opportunity he had
“Um, sorry how are you?” He asked, bringing out her chair for her and making sure she was seated properly.
He had fucked up at the first instant, now he needed to act like a proper gentleman.
“I’m fine you?” She asked smiling at him again, hypnotizing him as he sat down and faced her.
“I’m good, what kept you long?”
“The traffic…” She trailed off answering curtly.
“Yeah the traffic… Waitress…” He called out.
An awkward silence descended as they both waited for the waitress rather to come.
“What can I bring for you?” The nice looking waitress asked them with a smile.
He turned to look at Ariel, clearly waiting for her answer when she said, “Choose, you choose…” She said to him, and looking at the waitress still fucking smiling again she said, “Whatever my Danny wants, that’s what I want.”
Fuck! She was clearly flirting with him.
What was she doing to him?
He ordered for both of them, and as soon as the waitress left, on impulse he took her hands that were on the table and squeezing gently, he whispered slowly, “Minehi
So free, so pure, and so innocent, she smiled at him, this time shyly, and then and there Daniel knew that he was going to make her his.
Nothing in this world was going to stop that.
He just had to make sure everything worked perfectly fine.
He was going to start and end with her…
Damn!

CHRISTIAN
“I’m still scared Christian.” Christian heard Sara say.
His hands were entertwined in hers, and he kept squeezing it gently..
He had visited today at the shelter.
He wanted to talk to her about what they had discussed on the phone, but most importantly he wanted to see her.
He missed her so much, so fucking much.
He had no where to go to today.
He was still waiting for his passport and some other stuffs, so today was just free for him.
He would have gone to Daniel’s place, or the supermarket actually so they could spend some time together, but apparently Daniel was on a date with Ariel.
At first Christian had been shocked, but then he came off it.
He knew from the onset that Daniel had feelings for Ariel, and he was even surprised that this was their first date.
Back to his baby, Sara…
“Scared about what?” He asked her, brushing a strand of her that had fallen over her face, shielding her gorgeous face from hers.
She was shaking her legs, Eve while the were seated on the bench in the shelter’s garden, she still.looked restless.
This was just like his Sara..
Always worrying even in the calmest situation
He knew what was going on in that mind of hers, he knew what was troubling her, but he kept mute.
“You know why…” She said curtly, as if she could even read his mind and he chuckled slowly.
“I don’t Sara, talk to me.”
He placed his hand in her lap, calming her shaking legs, and she stopped instantly.
He also heard her taking in a deep breath and then she started talking.
Talking about the same thing he knew she would say.
Their leave to Seattle, her school, and everything he knew she would say.
He didn’t stop her, he listened attentively, looking intently at her as she kept talking.
Even when she was worried she still looked beautiful.
This human here, nothing was seperating them both.
This worrying phase of hers would pass soon that was for sure.
“Are you done?” He asked as soon as she finished talking and she nodded.
Smiling he picked her knuckles, placed chaste kisses on them and then said curtly, “You know you worry too much.”
“Why won’t I be worr…” She didn’t even finish talking when someone from nowhere interrupted them
“Hello, hello, and who do we have here?...”
He hadn’t even looked at the person, but from the way Sara’s expression had changed he knew something was wrong.
Oh well…
