Chapter 54: Chapter 54

CHAPTER 54

MEAN TRIO

“The festival or maybe carnival is around the corner.” Tessa screamed excitedly.

“Quiet, we’re in the cafeteria and everyone’s silent.” Miranda said munching a chocolate bar as usual, and Dinah looked at her and gave her a disgusting look, rolling her eyes.

“When did you start caring about quietness huh?” Dinah asked, and lowering her eyebrows Miranda just shrugged her shoulders.

After that night that she had poured cold water on Miranda, waking her up from sleep, things had been somewhat awkward between them.

Well, she had done what she needed to do.

Just because Miranda was privileged to sleep in the room, Mikey had lavishly decorated for her, didn’t mean she could not be at peace.

Of course Dinah gave her the silent and cold treatments, because there was nothing Miranda could do to her.

All she knew how to do, was eat, drink and get fat every day.

From the beginning, Tessa had always been her favorite, so she wouldn’t mind, if Miranda decided to stop being friends with her, or tried to pick a fight.

In this situation, Miranda was definitely going to loose, because Tessa would definitely be on Dinah’s side, and Dinah wouldn’t have anything to loose if Miranda were to stop being friends with her.

Amongst the two of them, Miranda was sure going to bear the harsh brunt, should she decided to stop being friends.

“No one’s saying anything?” Tessa questioned, looking at both Miranda and Dinah.

“The festival right? That’s going to be my favorite day in the whole world.” Dinah giggled happily and Tessa joined her too.

That was the day her plans would take place…

It was not actually her plans though, even though she had just perfected it.

It was Miranda that had actually brought the idea, she was the mastermind and Dinah had just picked the idea, created it into a perfect scheming plan, do now all rights belonged to her.

‘That was the only thing she was good at.’ Dinah thought again, smirking wickedly.

Miranda was just good at eating, drinking and being wicked.

The foolish thing… Pffttt…

Her thoughts went back to the plan, to the day that was around the corner.

It was less than two months or she didn’t even know.

That day she was going to put that miserable bitch in her place.

God! She just couldn’t wait for the festival to come.

After the plan worked, thank goodness she was to leave the shelter soon that same month, do no one would suspect her of everything.

After she made sure Christian broke up with Sara, she would launch her own plans of seducing him.

That handsome lad… Damn! Just the thought of him, his sight in her head was enough to make her hot all over.

As for Mikey, she knew how she was going to take care of him.

She could still be dating the both of them in this town who knows, and then she would choose whoever made her very happy financially and sexually.

Darn it… She was a fucking genius.

She would visit Mikey later again this weekend, to seduce him more and remind him of the plan.

They would go over everything, and make sure the plan was already grounded.

They couldn’t afford anything going wrong.

It had to be perfect, it had to also go perfect, just the way she was thinking.

“Yeah, me too. I can’t wait for that day.” Miranda said slowly, albeit sarcastically.

“What’s going on between you too?” Tessa asked Dinah and Miranda.

Seemed Tessa hadn’t missed the sarcastic way Miranda had spoken.

In a tone that clearly indicated the opposite of what Miranda said.

Tessa too had noticed the animosity and cold treatments, Dinah and Miranda had both been giving each other during these past days, and she just couldn’t let it slide.

Sooner or later they had to confront it.

And sooner or later was now…

“Nothing’s wrong with me for one.” Dinah said snidely, using her newly manicured long pink nails to take her cup of orange juice, and took a long sip.

“What about you Miranda?”

“I’m also good too.”

“Oh well, then cut the bullshit. I notice you both don’t talk to each other freely. Don’t tell me it’s still about that night? Miranda, don’t tell me too that you haven’t gotten over it?”

“Well, I’m still hurt, but I’ve gotten over it.” Miranda said slowly again, her voice sounding pitiful but Dinah as usual was not having any of it.

If she thought that she Dinah, would apologize to her for pouring her cold water in order to stop her from snoring then she was nothing but a fool.

A pathetic one at that.

“Yeah, you’re hurt and you’ve gotten over it, but you should maybe apologize to Dinah too. You know we’ve warned you about your incessant snores. These days too you’re doing things on your own you know. Not wanting to let us know, sneaking out without telling us,not sharing your plans. What’s going on with you?”

Miranda looked up at Tessa, while Dinah watched with a smirk.

Dinah knew that Tessa would always have her back. TessaTessa was more close to her than Miranda.

Tessa had even been her best friend, the first time they had met in the shelter, ever before they met Miranda, and added her to the group.

“Apologize?” Dinah heard Miranda ask disbelievingly.

“Yeah apologize. Dinah here did nothing wrong offering you, no the both of us the privilege of sleeping in her private room here in the shelter. We enjoy the movies from her television, we sleep in an air conditioned rooms which is different from every other rooms here. Hell she even allows us to eat from her fridge sometimes, you have to be grateful.”

“I’m grateful, I’m grateful. We don’t enjoy all these things for free and you know it. She sends us on errands, very difficult errands and we do them, we stock the fridge with foodstuffs, I and you and she doesn’t spend a dime. We even subscribe for the cha…”

Dinah cut her off with a raise of her hand, “Enough… I won’t have you be so unappreciative of everything I’ve done for you. Now I see how ungrateful and selfish you can be. Why don’t you tell the numerous guys or is it men that fuck you to get a room for you too huh? Mikey arranged that room for me with his money, why can’t your numerous sugar daddies do that for you huh?”

“I can’t believe this. I sincerely can’t believe this.” That was the only response that came from Miranda’s mouth once Dinah was done speaking and Dinah just laughed, “You better believe it.”

“I’m done here.” Miranda said and stomped out, leaving their presence.

“Good riddance. I can’t believe she can be that ungrateful.” Tessa acknowledged as soon as Miranda was out of earshot.

“She would still come and ask for my forgiveness. She’s being a bitch but she can be that for long. She’s to know that I still rule this shelter and if I mean her she’ll come spiralling down. She’s nothing but a fool.” Dinah cussed angrily.

“I believe you Dinah, and I’m with you all step of the way. She would come back and beg you in your knees I assure you.”

“Let’s get out of here.” Dinah said and after high fiving themselves they left.
