Chapter 50: Chapter 50

CHAPTER 50

MEAN TRIO

"What's up girls?" Dinah said excitedly as she walked up to her best friends, Tessa and Miranda.

"What's up babe?" Miranda asked, munching on some cookies as usual.

"Oh I'm fine. Gosh, I missed you guys." Dinah exclaimed, mock sighing and placing a hand on her forehead as if she was tiredly trying to prove a point.

"You missed us. Pfffft, I bet it." Tessa said scoffing.

Of course they all knew her well, and Dinah knew that they could tell she was lying through her teeths, but well she didn't have any point to prove.

She had just come back from her mini vacation of a week with her on and off boyfriend Mikey, after successfully sneaking out of the orphanage and she had definitely had a good time.

Mikey, being Mikey of course, had spoilt her with lots of goodies, sex and other things she couldn't wait to tell her girls.

All these and more even the little new year vacation, she had gone too was just to smoothen her plans about Christian and that bitch Sara, she thought to herself spitefully.

All through the vacation, she had thought endlessly about Christian, and even when Mikey had slept with her, making love to her on different occasions she had pictured Christian instead of Mikey, and that thought alone had enabled to enjoy the sex at least.

Phew!

She shaked her head as if trying to get the thoughts out of her head even though she just couldn't.

She jus couldn't forget about Christian, about his hot as fuck body she had seen under the glistening sun as he worked, or was it his charming smile.

Lord knew words weren't enough to describe how she felt about him.

She would go to any length just to make Christian hers, that was for sure.

If it meant her harming that little thing, oh damn she would, because no one ever took what was hers and in this situation she just couldn't allow Sara beat her to this chase.

"Girl..." Tessa called out, waving her hands directly at Dinah's face bringing her back from her thoughts.

"Oh, ummm, I'm... I'm sorry..." Dinah said, stammering out an awkward response.

"The hell did your mind go to? I mean is the one week vacation not enough for you and Miley, or do you want to go back again?" Miranda asked and Tessa chimed in, "Yes Miranda's right? You wanna go back to your vacation with someone who you clearly don't like huh?"

She just shook her head as she listened to her friends blabber on and on about Mikey.

Of course she didn't like or never liked Mikey, I mean who would.

Definitely not her of course.

"So what's up with you. You know this is like the first time we're seeing in weeks, how far with your plan?" Miranda asked, taking out three chocolate boxes from her hand bag and handing both Dinah and Tessa one each.

"Oh the plan..." Dinah said trailing off as she started to think of how she would start.

"Yeah the plan?" Tessa said again as she crossed her arms and they both waited for her to say something.

"Well, there are so many things I want to tell you guys, and at the same time I don't even know how to start." Dinah said frustratingly.

"Well you can begin by telling us how your vacation with sugar daddy Mikey went..."

"Yes, I think I'll start with that..." She laughed and began talking.

Christian stood at his dressing mirror looking at the outfit he had chosen.

Today was the day he was going to Sara's orphanage to talk to the matron.

He wanted to look corporate and matured and his outfit today showed that.

Dressed in a trouser suit and plain black jacket, he tried to look so serious and thankfully for him his mood, and what he was trying to portray clearly showed.

"Seems you're all ready to go son."

His mother said from behind and Christian just sighed.

"What is it?" She asked, the concern and worry lacing her voice was so evident.

"Nothing mom." He replied, trying to ease her worries and brush of her questions but just like the loving but questioning mother she was, she was having none of it, "Talk to me son. What's wrong?"

"I'm just scared. Scared of this whole thing. I mean what if she doesn't allow me to take Sara along, what if she refuses all these large sum of money to let Sara be free from the shackles of being an orphan. How do I convince her that I would be able to take care of Sara mine, and that my intentions towards her is pure. How do I..." He trailed of as his mother placed one of her fingers on his lips.

"It's okay son. Don't worry yourself too much. That's why I'm here, of course when you told me about this brave decision of yours, I gave you my support, but I'll be doing more than just that now."

Christian raised his eyebrows confused, because he didn't understand what his mom was saying.

"What do you mean mom?" He asked, abd she just smiled and replied, "I can't allow you go there alone son. As you can see I'm all dressed to go out..." She paused, taking a deep breath and Christian used that moment to check out her dressing and saw that she was really ready to go out.

"Oh Mom..." He started to say, eyes filling up but she just pulled him into a hug and said, "I'll do anything to make my boy happy and I know having Sara by your side is what you really need love. Let's go talk to this matron son, we'll be able to make a compromise that's not even up for argument. Just know that I've always got your back."

Nodding he replied amidst tears, "Yes, I know Mom, I know."
