CHAPTER 19

Sara could not believe her ears as she sat at the dimly candle lit table, he wanted to be her everything if only she could give him a chance, she was stunned, she still could not believe her ears.

He had accepted her, he did not flinch when she had told him she was an orphan, he had not looked surprised, angry or shocked, he had gently taken her hand in his, drawn little circles all over her fingers and had asked her to be his.

Dumbfounded she blinked twice, shaked her head a little so as not to draw attention to herself from onlookers nearby and cleared her throat so she could say something.

"Sara love, did you hear what I just said?" he asked her slowly, his voice wavering as if he was scared of how she was going to react.

Staring straight at him, she answered "I heard you perfectly well, I just...." trailing off she was lost for words, she didn't know how to answer him yet, she was still shocked.

"You just what?.... Please talk to me Sara, I am becoming impatient, I want your answers, I want you to love me the same way I am beginning to fall in love with you, I want to share my dreams with you and see us accomplish our goals together I can't wait to call you mine, I want to make you mine, I want to brand you, mark you and let the whole world know that you belong to me only, Just me."

"Oh Christian, I'm literally getting hot and bothered already, this your possesive talks are something else." Sara said shyly looking elsewhere but at him.

"Don't be shy around me, you don't want to know what I have already done to you in my imaginations already, so just satisfy my curiosity about me being there for you always, let me be the one for you, Sara, I want us to move into the next chapter of this relationship, that is us already dating yunno love, do you get me now?" he asked while staring at her with hot smouldering eyes, the bluish orbs in between becoming darker and sexier.

God he was so handsome, she couldn't believe how lucky she was to have this demi greek god, asking her out.

"But I am an orphan, or didn't you hear that part Christian, I don't have anyone to call mine, I have no family apart from Ariel, there's no family to meet, no one you'll talk to concerning me, I am alone in my boring little world, and I don't want to drag you in it too." She answered feeling sad and chewing her fingers already out of habit.

"Stop that talk immediately about not having anyone here for you, I am here for you, I will always be here for you, and I am now part of your family so quit all these selfless boring talks of you being alone and just give me a chance to show you, ok?"

"Okay." Sara answered.

"Just okay?" Christian said and laughed jokingly.

This girl was trying to make it hard for him, his girl had class that was for sure, it pained him whenever she talked about her being an orphan, having no family, his heart pinched slightly in response to the thought of her being alone, stranded and without anyone since she was little, staring up at her, her caramel doe eyes looking at him shyly as she constantly kept chewing her hands, an habit of hers he had already noticed, Christian sighed, 'how was he going to make her believe he was not going to make her sad, that he was not going to go back on all his promises to her'.

"Yes Christian, fine you have gotten yourself a girlfriend, I am sorry for keeping you in so much suspense, if that's what i can call it, it's just that yunno I have not done this before, you are the first person I have felt a strong connection like this with, it's so strange I just don't know what to do with it."

Placing one of those sexy little fingers on her head gently to place a curly hair strand in it's place, Christian was amazed at how someone like this could be so perfect, from her soothing tone, her features, and everything about her, damn he was so lucky.

"You are having doubts, that I might fail you right, that I might go back on my word to you, I understand, I feel your concern, it's not easy yunno having been left behind before, sorry, hope I didn't say anything hurting." he asked knowing that the topic was a sensitive one for her.

"It's no problem, go on, I'm listening." she answered and he was relieved, he didn't want to say anything that would make her flinch in sadness, or toil with her emotions.

"I will always be here for you Sara, I won't let you down, I know it's to early for all this kind of promises, but I am sure of it when it comes to you love." Christian said picking her hands again from across the table, her fingers so soft and comfy against his, he squeezed it gently.

Giving him that enchanting smile once again she said "Christian, tell me more about yourself, let's quit all these talks and get to know more about each other, that is one of the purpose of this date right?"

Flashing a megawatt smile at her he chuckled slowly, his eyes twinkling.

"What's funny, you now have me, I am now yours, its now up to me to decide if you're worthy to be called mine." She said raising her eyebrows cutely.

Yes, he fist bumped under the table, she was now his.
